5 out of 5 eggsWhat a beast

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Jumped from a GTX560 that was running at 90 celcius on BF4 to This beast barely capping 50 celcius. So much space to OC! Runs every game on Ultra. around 90 FPS ultra bf4.

Cons: THIS IS NOT A CONS: It's a big card, it got 3 fans. Heat is PC worst enemy, so being bigger and having 3 fans is more like a pros in fact!

Other Thoughts: Quiet, cool, runs smoothly

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Cards - Especially In SLI and at 120hz+

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: This is one of the better priced GTX-770 cards on the market - which is odd because it's OVERCLOCKED at the factory and has one of the best cooling systems of any of the other GTX-770's.

This card will eat up just about everything you throw at it. If your still using a 60hz monitor, this card is overkill for you - but you will enjoy the solid 60fps you get. Where it shines is with 120hz monitors - getting you Framerates around 80-120 on ULTRA settings in games like Battlefield 4.

I was so impressed with this card that I purchased a second for SLI - and boy-oh-boy am I happy. Everything looks gorgeous on my 120hz Asus VG248QE Monitor (yes, this monitor is capable of 144hz, but since I dont get Framerates THAT HIGH in BF4, and since the human eye doesnt recognize anything above 120FPS anyhow - I keep mine locked at 120hz). Temps on my 2 cards sit around 30c idle and 55c under load. These are very acceptable temperatures! If your thinking about getting a TITAN, save money and put two of these in SLI (its cheaper, and your SLI cards will be FASTER than a TITAN).

I ordered my 2 cards 6 months apart from one another.. This is some info for the TECHIE-GEEKS out there:

1> The first card used memory chips by: Elpida
2> The second card used memory chips by: Hynix

Everything operates at the same exact speed, and was even able to SLIGHTLY overclock the cards even more with no problems or additional cooling.

I should probably upgrade my Seasonic 700w powersupply - but all is running fine on my overclocked I5-4870k overclocked to 4.3ghz. My system is running rock-solid-stable!

Cons: These are VERY long cards. If the power-plugs were at the end of the card (like most cards), they would not have been able to fit in my Antec 900 case. Fortunately, the plugs are on the side of the card - viewable thru the glass window of your case. Not PRETTY - but they are plugged in and working great.

Other Thoughts: When you do upgrade to a 120hz monitor, make sure you get one that is Geforce/Nvidia 3D Vision Ready! Your cards support it - so should your monitor! Play games and watch movies in 3D!

5 out of 5 eggsSolid design. Runs cool.

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Strong design, doesn't bend. Runs very cool.

Friend recommended Gigabyte, since he knew how much I care about temperature. My previous two cards were EVGA and my last one, gtx480, had an aftermarket cooler and still ran hotter than anything I've ever seen. This card runs very very cool and it looks pretty cool.

Cons: Expensive. Most expensive card I bought. Splurged. No regrets, but still, pretty expensive imo.

Other Thoughts: Maxes out AC4 with pretty good frames. Almost maxes out Watch Dogs, but that game is a mess. Witcher 2 maxed no problem. Haven't had any absurdly demanding games to play yet, but this card will stay relevant for years to come.

4 out of 5 eggsSmall word of caution.

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Great card that does everything i need it to, The cuda proccessing is well beyond my last 660 gtx

Cons: This is a longest card I've ever had (longer even then the EVGA 9800 GTX)
I actually had to re-position a couple HDDs and bend part of my hdd rack with some pliers case to make it fit (it's a raidmax smilodon). But that doesn't really bother me personaly.

5 out of 5 eggsSo much better than AMD

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Very quiet for power consumption, extremely stable drivers vs AMD, video quality and shading is superb, integrates with GPU algorithmic programs easily as compared to AMD cards which do not.
I use this card for both gaming and for algorithmic math calculations with GPU offload. This card outperformed my similarly priced amd card for both graphical presentation and mathematical GPU calculations.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this card to anybody looking for a stable, quiet, and versatile video card that easily adapts to being a matlib quant calculation card for at home algo checking. Does not provide same math calc as a GPU grid however at this price point I was very happy with performance.

5 out of 5 eggsNew card, old machine.

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Bought a new computer, and upgraded my old machine with this card, better RAM and a new PSU. It's still only a dual core @ 2.93 GHz, with 4 GB DDR2 800 MHz RAM, but now it can easily play newer games, from APB Reloaded, to Skyrim, Dead Island, all of them.

Cons: None. It's worked perfectly since day one, and plays every game thrown at it, despite the rest of the hardware being "sub par."

Other Thoughts: It was a little pricey for my budget, but I'm a cheapo. It's still the most amazing video card I've ever owned, and was worth the cost.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card!!!

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Runs cool, runs everything i throw at it on max settings (full hd res).

Nice quality build of the cooler made by Gygabite

Cons: $ 40 cheaper and it will make AMD 280x obsolete at that price range.

Other Thoughts: I've heard a lot about Gygabite's own custom made cooling system on their vga cards and all i heard and now tested is good and true.

5 out of 5 eggsBeast Mode

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: -This thing is a beast. I upgraded from a GTX 660ti when my son managed to spill a cup of tea through the top grate of my rig resulting in the ruination of most of my hardware. Runs everything I throw at it on max settings.

Some games I play.

-Witcher 2
-Rome Total War 2
-Skyrim
-War Thunder

Cons: -none

Other Thoughts: -It is a huge piece of hardware, but fits fine in my HAF 932 case.
