The special outward-inclined, triple-fan design effectively minimizes the flow of turbulence between the three fans. With a unique vapor chamber, the WINDFORCE 3X transfers heat from the hot spot to the cool spot as thermal energy becomes evaporated to the surrounding air. By capillary action, the condensed liquid droplets circulate back to the base of chamber. The cycles of evaporation and condensation enhance heat dissipation for greater cooling efficiency. Moreover, the WINDFORCE 3X is equipped with three copper heat pipes to strengthen the speed of heat dissipation.

5 out of 5 eggsGIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Runs cool, 3 fans on card that run silent.
Has handled everything I have thrown at it on extreme/Ultra/Max setting. (Rome 2,Titanfall, Crysis 2, Farcry 3)
Easy to install drivers, no problems so far on Gigabytes side.
Overall a very good card for the price. Much cheaper than the 770, which I was debating on, and finally decided on this and I am not disappointed with the capability of the card.

Cons: Zero so far.

Other Thoughts: People have claimed it is a big card, and I have nothing good to say about this card BUT it is fairly big; it does take up a lot of space and if you're not housing it with an ATX large case, or an ATX Mid with space than you may be in trouble. I am running it in a HAF922 and I have plenty of space. The HAF922 is a very large Mid ATX however. Others have said it feels a little flimsy, and I can agree it does to a certain point, but that's because it has such a large surface area that it doesn't feel like a brick as my gtx550 TI felt. Great card overall.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Happy

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Fast & Beautiful graphics when it works.

Cons: Gives random black screens. Does not matter if it is in game or just on the Desktop browsing the Internet. Only way to bring out of black screen is to physically unplug HDMI from back of card.

Other Thoughts: I RMA'd it to Gigabyte. That cost me approximately $18 to mail it from East Coast to West Coast. The entire process took about a month and a half. When I got it back, there was no report of their findings. The card still blacks out and Gigabyte will not return my emails.

I installed MSI Afterburner and am just keeping the fans cranked, see if that works. Afterburner does not report anything near overheating either way. I may next try to flash the GPU Bios with NVflash. After that I will scrap the card and just use the i5 graphics because they work flawlessly and are not terribly bad (4670k). I will never buy another Gigabyte product again. I had a Gigabyte MoBo go bad on me too, but that was years back. I have not been too please with Nvidia drivers recently either. I would recommend an AMD card or the CPU graphics, please do not waste your time and money on this card.

Hey Gigabyte rep, this was my RMA# USA-1430478. Please help!

3 out of 5 eggsWorked well till it died

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Played most games at max with 35+ fps

Cons: Died after 9 months.

Other Thoughts: In the middle of a game I got a BSOD and it wouldn't output anymore. I tested it in other computers and everything. The fans would spin so it was getting power, the GPU just didn't seem to be outputting anything.

5 out of 5 eggsFollow up Review

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Much more room to overclock. This is a follow up review and since then I've found my HONEY spot to be 1185/1250 Base/Boost and 7008 Mem Clock. Temps stay around 51-52 for both my card and 4770k Haswell. I do use a full tower with a Corsair H80i liquid cooler for the processor with Antec Formula 7 nano diamond TIM that's overclocked to 4400 MHz or 4.4 ghz (could go higher but whats the point?)

Cons: None for me, as I didn't buy this card to throw it into something I wasn't prepared for.

Other Thoughts: As an Nvidia card the Anisotropic is amazing (Nvidia has always owned Anisotropic). Makes games look great. Antialiasing is ATI's (Now owned by AMD, and all subsequent will be called AMD) bread and butter.

So what does that mean? Of course both chips do both but each do 1 or the other better. In years past Anisotropic makes games look so much better, but now we have Transparency which Antialiasing does better. Since Vista came out, Transparency has started to be implemented on your everyday computer usage. Don't believe me and check your WEI score. The score doesn't matter, what does matter is that Transparency is here to stay. Not only stay but being found in every game you play now. Both Nvidia and AMD have to compete with each other so they both have to offer this. Being that I've had the privilege to use both types for years, I would like to share my overview and rate this product.

Buying this card at $250 and getting the overclocks stated above along with my over all enjoyment of 1080P game playing, There just simply is no competition. If you were one of the lucky ones that got a R9 280X at its start price of $300 you got it beat.

Unfortunately your reading this to buy a card, and your not gonna get that card near that price now thanks to the Bit coin miners.

Yes Windows 9 is coming out. I'm sure this card will more than handle it with great colors. The more important thing is Direct X 12 Coming out. The problem with Direct X is more and more Game Manufacturers are trying to stear away from it. But as always, stear to what? The other options just aren't gonna make profits for game makers as of yet. With Direct X 12 Being set to come out in 2015 and games still catching up to Direct X 11 this card will be great for 2 to 3 years out. I know people are saying 1 year but I'm a realist that's been in Computers since Commadore 64 days. 2 to 3 years of great use at $250 for 1080P. That's what your buying here. GTX 770 would be better, but you could also just SLI another GTX 760 for far more Power if you want to. That's a decision for the buyer. To me, this card for 1080P gaming this is the way to go.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Performance

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Wow, I am astonished with the performance of this card, for the lower end of the GTX 700 series, this card is a behemoth. So far I have thrown Titanfall, Dishonoured, Civ V, Starcraft 2 at it and it runs everything on Max/Ultra with absolute ease. It is definitely worth the purchase. So far, I have devoted myself to purchasing games until I find one that totally stumps this card.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Overall, it was a good purchase, BUT if you have the money, I would definitely recommend getting it's 4GB counterpart, it would be far more future-proof, but I am still very satisfied with this product.

5 out of 5 eggsGigabyte GTX 760

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Why isn't this in your cart yet? Read my review and then add it, okay? This card can and will handle anything and everything you throw at it. When gaming it can boost up to 1201 MHz without a manual OC. With my OC, I have it at 1293 MHz and it never reaches above 65C. It run very quite, it looks beautiful and it's huge. Who wants a tiny card? Go big or go home. Here's some of my personal benchmarks. Note: All games were maxed out.
WoW: 75-200 FPS on ultra in all parts of the world
CoD Ghost: 55-80 FPS
GTA 4 with no mods: 60-120 FPS
GTA 4 with ENB graphics mod: 40-60 FPS
BioShock Intinite: 100-200 FPS
Minecraft: 342,134-244,432,534 FPS (joke)

Cons: Cons? With this card? LOL

Other Thoughts: When this card isn't being bottle-necked by the CPU, expect to see performance similar to a GTX 680 or even a GTX 770. There's no need to pay $100 more for the same performance with this card. One thing though, before installing the card, inspect it. I had to move the video cards fan cable away from one of the fans because it would have blocked it from spinning.
<My rig>
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670 (non K version)
MoBo: MSI Z87 GD-65 GAMING Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaw 2x4GB 8GB dual channel, 1600MHz
Video card: Gigabyte Windforce REV 2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB (SLI coming soon)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 750GB SSD, no HDD.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value for money

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Great performance for the price (I'm running BF4 on high around 70-120 fps and ultra around 47-75 fps depending on map and player count).

Surprisingly decent at mining (340 Kh/s when O/C slightly on cudaminer) for a Nvidia card.

Runs ridiculously cool (I stay at 55-60C when gaming even for extended periods to include 6ish hours straight of titanfall/BF4 etc.).

Amazingly quite! (I use liquid cooling on CPU so I can hear GPUs more than anything else, and I can hardly hear this thing even maxed out with volume muted!).

Did I mention great value?

Cons: The card itself has slightly cheaper plastics used in the build and is a little flimsy compared to other cards I've owned.

Other Thoughts: The card is very long so make sure you have ample room in your case to support it! I recommend a roomy mid-tower to a full size ATX case. [The heat sink and fan extend roughly ~1-2 in (~2.5-4.5 cm) past the GPU card itself]

3 out of 5 eggsVery Quiet, Lots of Hitching

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: This card is very quiet; practically silent. I was worried that with three small fans it might actually be louder than the single-fan card it replaced, but I needn't have worried. This thing runs quiet and cool whether idle or under load. I run this PC in the same room with a TV and no longer have to turn up the TV when I turn on the computer.

Overall great frame rates with high settings at 1920x1200.

Cons: I'm seeing substantial hitching in games since installing this card. The two games I've played the most are Titanfall and LotRO, and in both, the video will completely freeze for a second or so, then resume at a high frame rate.

This hitching usually happens 1-3 time per match in Titanfall. In LotRO, it's fairly frequent and is accompanied by stuttering where the frame rate drops to ~10fps for a split second.

Other Thoughts: Hard to say whether I would recommend this card. The hitching could be peculiar to my system, and perhaps I could resolve it by experimenting more with game settings.

Though I get the hitching even using the "GeForce Experience" optimized settings for Titanfall. It's also disappointing that the recommended texture resolution is "high," not "very high" (Max is "insane," which requires 3GB of VRAM). Also worth noting that both games and Windows are installed on a Samsung 840 EVO SSD.
