2 out of 5 eggsPretty dissapointed with Gigabyte Support and QA

Pros: Great card when it worked low noise

Cons: I started getting blue screens during graphically intensive games or just random restarts
After looking at the blue screens it was telling me the graphics driver was causing the crashes. I was on current drivers at the time but tried other previous driver versions just to make sure. The same things were happening regardless of what driver I had installed.

Other Thoughts: I issued an RMA on this card at the time this card was a little over a year old after it failed. When I had the card returned back they sent me the same card saying the bios needed to be updated on the card but the card still had the same issues as before aka it wasn't fixed. So I sent another rma in to only have them tell me the card is unrepairable and that the only other 780 model they had stocked was the GHZ edition which I agreed to accept as a replacement. Well that card also has died and is being sent back for a RMA so hopefully they actually give me a decent card this time but I hear the QA on Gigabytes 780s wasn't the best so its kind of a lotery.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Card

Pros: Absolutely great card. I had a 3GB GTX 580 since 2011, and while I didn't NEED to upgrade, I sure wanted to. The 780 was the obvious choice; I didn't need a 780 TI or a Titan. Fortuitously it went on sale, and I snapped it up. Worked like a charm, slightly longer than my Gigabyte 580 but not a problem at all. However, it runs 10 full degrees cooler than the 580, both idling and at load (30C-60C). My only regret is now I might have to wear a sweater in the winter.

Also, I had a dual-monitor setup with the 580, and with the 780 I was able to make it a 3 23" monitor setup. Everything's buttery smooth and I have the screen real estate to rival Zeus himself. I currently have the two side monitors hooked into the DVI, DisplayPort -> DVI on my middle monitor, and a very long HDMI cable from my PC to a 32" HDTV, mirrored to my game screen so the other denizens of my abode can watch me play CSGO. If there's anything cooler than that, I don't know.

Cons: The con is very minor: The card starts running out of memory @ 3GB if you're doing anything with 4k resolution. It's not a concern for me at all, but if you're an uberuser you might need to check out the TI or the Titan/Black.

Other Thoughts: This and the previous 580 I have owned have made me a Gigabyte user for life.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST CARD ON THE MARKET

Pros: This thing scared me right out of the box. It's a beast that handles what ever you throw at it like nothing can touch it.All the settings run on max and its like it's just still cool and no heat comes out of it.Best thing out there.

Cons: ran out of eggs.

Other Thoughts: better have enough space in your case all I have to say about this giant.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate to my previous review

Pros: Great card. Got two of them and they run all the games at highest settings with no issues. I am considering getting another one for smoother 4k gaming in some more demanding titles.

Cons: I almost lost my free games that came with the card. I resolved the matter by contacting Nvidia higher-ups.
You can ignore my previous review.

Other Thoughts: Special thanks for Gigabyte for reaching out to me and trying to resolve the issue. By the time you responded, I had the issue resolved with Nvidia higher-ups and did not come back to edit my review. Again, sorry you got cought in the middle of this and thank you for trying to remedy the situation.

5 out of 5 eggswell it is a 780

Pros: no hassle , just set it at max and forget.

Cons: The first one I got started getting graphical glitch after a few days had to RMA

Other Thoughts: Playing final fantasy 14 on 3 screen in a window and works fine. Slight performance hit but probably more due to game engine optimization than anything else.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's great, but no overclock

Pros: It's cool, it's fast, and its cheap(ish).

Cons: The overclocking software isn't compatible with Windows 8. The overclocking software from other companies doesn't work well with this GPU. My games lag when I tried to use other software.

Other Thoughts: This card is great, if you don't want to overclock.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Nvidia Customer Service

Pros: Gigabyte makes a great card. Works just fine

Cons: Buyer beware! The game codes that come with these cards have expiration date printed in tiny, tiny print. I would have never thought that a Steam or Origin key-code to a game would "expire" and now Nvidia refuses to honor my game codes.
Will be buying and recommending ATI for now.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card, cool and fast

Pros: Has yet to go over 62c with benching and hours of gaming. Going to this from a 7950 (profit sell) is like day and night and no change at all in the power bill. Picked this card up on sale at $480 only 155 of that was out of pocket. Every game/bench I have tossed at it has been eaten alive by this cards power.

Cons: Can sound like a med sized box fan but never gets that loud unless I set the fan to 100%

Not really a con since this issue worked its self out:::
When the card was 1st plugged in one of the caps had a whine that caused me much worry but worked its self out after looping valley for an hour to break the card in.

Other Thoughts: I am only playing games on a 60Hz monitor for the moment, my Asus VG248QE will be here tuesday and I will do another review to let you know how this card handles 144hz.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolute beast

Pros: This is my first time reviewing, but figured it was worth to let people know this card is worth buying

I had ordered a Gigabyte 770 OC 4GB version before this and was pretty amazed with the results. But they weren't quite as high as I had hoped for the money. So I went ahead and ordered the 780 GTX with intent of selling my 770 within the next week. I slapped the 780 in this morning, and WOW! It has blown my mind. I ran the Fire Strike benchmark, and the 780 scored a 9506 compared to the high end gaming computer score of 9131. My 770 benched at 7411. Needless to say, I'm very impressed. I ran Assassin's Creed IV with everything all the way up except the AA - which I had set to FXAA. HIghest I think is MXAAx4 or something. With all up, including V-Sync (I hate screen tearing), My PC played AC4 with little to no lag. The little lag was the same as if you're playing xbox 360 or xbox one, and your system hesitates for a moment and smooths out. So not bad at all. And yes, the graphics on AC4 are phenomenal, very nice

Cons: No cons as of yet.

Other Thoughts: My system is:
Corsair 600T mid tower case
16 GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM
Intel Core I7 2600K 3.4 GH with turbo adjusted to 4.6Ghz
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 overclocked
1000 Watt Corsair PSU

ALL on Air, and lots of it
