1 out of 5 eggsLots of problems with this card

Pros: Wasn't D.O.A.

Cons: May as well have been DOA...

1. Pixelation occurs in random, rectangular areas of the screen while playing games.

2. The screen remains black after waking up Windows, requiring a hard reboot to fix. The only way I found to prevent the black screen was to revert to an older driver version (the default one that Windows picks) and not installing ANYTHING but the graphics driver (CCC seems to cause issues with this card).

3. Caused BSOD while doing nothing more than using my web browser.

I've tried several driver versions and none of them have fixed these problems.

Other Thoughts: I kept the card for over a month trying to clear up these problems. While researching my issues I found that a lot of people were either having the same or similar problems as mine. I've tried every suggested fix for these problems that I've come across and, like everyone else with these issues, nothing fixes the problems.

Buyers remorse sucks...

I really wish I wouldn't have kept it for over a month so that I could have done an RMA refund...now I'm S.O.L.

2 out of 5 eggsOK Card

Pros: good card runs everything

Cons: Cannot update the drivers to any rev above 13.251 because I loose one of my monitors (I have 3 connected). I bought it for an HTPC but could not get the audio to play over the HDMI connector.

3 out of 5 eggs1 Month Review

Pros: pretty good performance, runs everything i've thrown at it from medium to very high settings.
really price/performance range.
well build card, and doesn't heat up alot

Cons: video drivers. but that could be on my end.
can't think of no more right now....

Other Thoughts: Even thought, on my computer it makes the screen black and stays like that, and i have to reboot my system to get it to work again. this card is a well build card, and to the performance from it is pretty good. not the best, but not the lowest in the class either.

5 out of 5 eggsGV-R726XWF2-2GD REV2

Pros: Best card I have owned. Been able to play all my games at High to Ultra settings with FPS dipping no lower than 41 FPS!!! Games I have benchmark are Hitman: Absolution, Tomb Raider (2013), Battlefield 3, Sleeping Dogs, Skyrim (heavily modded), Sniper Elite III, Fallout: New Vegas (heavily modded), Rift, Bioshock: Infinite and more!!! Really excited about this card. As of this post I am using the AMD driver version 14.7 RC3 driver which I installed right away. I did not bother with the installation disk that came with this card. I did my research ahead of time. The card temp has not gone over 67c under heavy load using various benchmark tools to stress it. From my experience for the price is a win win. For as of right now of this post the card is idling at a temp of 32c, which it normally does.

Cons: As of this post none. Great card!!

Other Thoughts: As of this post I have been running this card on a 400W Power Supply and have had no issues. But I did also purchase from Newegg a 550W power supply that I have not installed yet for future upgrades. Do not get discouraged by the posts about the AMD driver issues. Just remember. Most people do not post unless they have a issue. I have owned nothing but Nvidia cards in the past. But I decided cause of price to performance ratio of the AMD to take the plunge and purchase and I am so glad I did!!! Hope this post gives others the relief I so wish I had when making the decision to do so also.

The rest of my system specs are : BIOSTAR A960D+ AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard, Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (Yellow Heat Spreader) Model TLYD38G1600HC9DC01, AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5GHz (4.1GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor FD6300WMHKBOX, 1TB HDD 7200rpm Seagate drive.

P.S,
Yes I run all games at 1920x1080 resolution on a Samsung SyncMaster P2250

P.S.S
I will edit or add a post if I come across any issues with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsif you have second thoughts, buy it

Pros: it plays any game I want it to battlefield league of legends and such 1080p, it is sort of loud but not too loud and you can ramp up or down fan speeds, as well as the clock on it. I am in love with it

Cons: none at all

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Video Card - Terrible Glitchy Drivers

Pros: I am using this video card on Windows XP Professional SP3, Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P Mobo, AMD FX-4300 Vishera Quad-Core 3.8GHz (4.0GHz) Socket AM3+ Processor, and 4GB of Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Memory. This video card regardless of the motherboard only supporting PCI Express 2.0 whereas the video card is PCI Express 3.0 seems to play all my games at highest quality with no stalling. According to the Gigabyte OC Guru II that comes on the driver CD is says the temperature is around 37C (98.6F) idle and reaches maybe 46C (114.8F) playing games like Driver San Fransisco. The core runs at I believe 1188Mhz and memory 6500Mhz. It's really not a bad card. I upgraded from a GIGABYTE GV-R489OC-1GD Radeon HD 4890 1GB PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support video card.

Cons: This is really not a problem with the card itself, but more like glitchy drivers. No matter what version of ATI Catalyst I installed from the AMD/ATI website the Catalyst Control Center I could never get it to come up no matter how hard I tried. Even the drivers off the CD same problem. The video drivers seems to work and the card itself seems to be working, but not the Catalyst Control Center part. This is why I'm using Gigabyte OC Guru II to monitor my temperature and GPU and memory speeds. Note the Catalyst Control Center not coming up has been a common problem with other video cards not just this one. Again it's not the video cards fault it's more like ATI's fault for making glitchy drivers. The drivers is why I deducted a egg from the rating.

Other Thoughts: I bought this video card cause it was the only one I could find that still supports Windows XP SP3. It's a really great card and I like it alot just wish ATI would get the Catalyst Control Center bug fixed.

4 out of 5 eggsSurprised!

Pros: Not a bad card! I normally like NVidia better, but I have to say I believe this card handles more than my GeForce GTX 760! I play SWTOR on one monitor and have YouTube up on the other monitor. This card doesn't seem to stutter at all. BUT my GeForce GTX 760 - JUNK!

Cons: Only reason I took off one egg is that one of the fans sounds like either it's going dead or a bearing is going out. Really noisy when playing a game or doing anything for that matter. Quite obnoxious.

Other Thoughts: Other than one of the fans being REALLY loud due to bearing issue I would still buy this and may buy another to use the CrossFire! Anyone do this already?
