5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bought 5 cards for a commercial flight sim. Cards run ~10 hours a day, all around 50c, I use MSI afterburner to control fan speed. They where all run with furmark for 8 hours as a burn-in. No issues that anyone here has had so far.

Cons: None yet, though I wish that dvi to VGA adapters would have been included.

5 out of 5 eggsprice meets performance

Pros: I'm running two of these cards in SLI. Prior to getting the second one I ran a single card setup for about 5 months. These are really terrific cards and I like just about everything that they bring to the table. They offer great performance for the money, coming in just behind 780 ti's in most benchmarks. With one of these cards, one can max out nearly any game at 1080p/60 fps provided that there is no resolution scaling or "ubersampling" enabled. In SLI, it is utter overkill at 1080p. One can easily run The Witcher 2 with all graphical options maxed (including ubersampling) or Battlefield 4 at 150% resolution scale and 4x msaa and still hit 60fps. I can't wait to try this duo out on a 1440p high refresh rate monitor. I should mention here that temps are great provided you keep good airflow going through your case. Even in SLI, provided that you a little space between cards, temps are fine. Finally, this card looks great and in my opinion is the sexiest non-reference 780 design.

Cons: If you're into overclocking and tinkering with gear you might be a bit disappointed. With such a ferocious overclock already applied from the factory, there isn't much more room to OC. I was able to get the memory clock up 400 mhz and the core clock up 20 mhz, but even with these modest adjustments the card is still only somewhat stable, and did crash a few times. Still, you have to keep in mind that these things are already seriously overclocked, so even if you cant get much more out of them it is only really a loss insofar as the process of overclocking itself can be fun. My only other ding against this card is that i get a slight bit of sag when i mount it on my motherboard (Asus Z97-Pro). It's barely noticeable, but I wonder what will happen over time.

Other Thoughts: It's not really a con per se, but the top card tends to get a bit hotter than the bottom one in SLI. I understand that this is basically universal in SLI setups, but I think it's exacerbated in this scenario by the fact that the Windforce coolers dump hot air out the side of the card into the case rather than venting it out the back like the reference cards. I haven't really noticed an adverse effect in game, since both stay under 80c, but this could be an issue as time goes on.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: This thing is pretty quiet and runs every game I have at ultra settings, even watch dogs. I only bought one. I have nothing but good things to say about this. It's powerful and can run anything.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Eats AAA games - poops FPS.

Cons: One time, I was able to hear it over my h100i cooling fans.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, this is the best card I've ever owned. For the price/performance, I can't justify a Ti or Black over it. Specifically, the Windforce model keeps things extra cool and quiet when listening for gamer tears hitting the floor three cities over, crying over their baked potato that tried to compete at the same graphical settings.

1 out of 5 eggsbad quality control

Pros: Very good card ... when works

Cons: Serious Control Quality Issues

Other Thoughts: The card had a random video issue or no video during booting. With the time it became more and more frequent until it happened at every boot. I RMAd and now they say the card is bent and warranty is voided. I never did any damage to the card. This come to the factory like that. Someone in other review had a twisted pci connector that he had to fix with a wrench. Check any gigabyte graphic card for small no easy to see physical defects because later if you have problems they will blame you and you will loose your money.

1 out of 5 eggsGood card if you are lucky, very bad bussines if you are not

Pros: Highest Factory Overclock Available. Backplate

Cons: Probably factory overclock too high or I don't know what but I never could rely on this. Finally it started to malfunction all the time. Very bad control quality

Other Thoughts: This is an horror history. My first experience with Gigabyte and the first time something like this happens to me. This card had something wrong inside since I installed for the first time. Some random bandwidth issue causing bad or no video during booting. The problem happened more and more frequently until it become regular. I RMAd and now I read in the RMA status: "Physical Damage. Irreparable. Warranty voided". Not a single mail to explain what I ''damaged'. I did not overclocked, I did not flash and I did not damaged anything. And I'm writing this because I'm sure I didn't. This was always damaged from the factory and died on me. I should RMA to Newegg when I still had the chance. This is a scam, you stole 600$ from me, shame on you Gigabyte. I have been building computers for a while and I never had a so despicable treatment from a manufacturer.

2 out of 5 eggsBeautiful, When it Works

Pros: High framerates and quiet operation, even in very graphically intense games.

Cons: Since upgrading from a 460, several games now crash to black screen every 5 - 30 minutes depending on the game, Skyrim being the worst. I suspected it might be underpowered, so I went ahead and upgraded my psu to no avail. I conducted clean driver installations, rollbacks, and updates. Nothing has worked.

This is extremely frustrating given the price of the card, and the fact that the manufacturer warranty prevents return of the card to Newegg. Now I either have to hope for an Nvidia solution, or face the horrors of a Gigabyte RMA (seriously, the reviews from people who have tried to deal with them are terrifying).

Other Thoughts: I haven't been able to determine whether this is a brand specific or even a hardware issue. It's best to wait until the issues are ironed out.

5 out of 5 eggsFastest 780 Card

Pros: This is the fastest 780 card on the market and a good price point! If you are in search of 780s, this is the one to go with. Runs all my games on better than Ultra settings. Great airflow and cooling too! Mine is in a basement and never gets above 40C. (it is cold down there so that helps a lot.) But still, it is great! Good packaging too! Had my fiancee open it cus it was just so awesomely packed.

Cons: none. Great Product, right out of the box.

Other Thoughts: Don't forget to plug your cords into this, not the mother board. This was my first case build and I was unsure where to stick that cable so I looked it up and found out. Just trying to save some of you new builders 15 minutes on the internet.

1 out of 5 eggsClueless supoort

Pros: Still trying to figure that out.

Cons: Seems to be too aggressively overclocked.
Clueless support staff constantly trying to shift the blame.

Other Thoughts: So, continuing this garbage saga, I finally figured out the problem with this card and it's not the drivers, it's not some sort of program compatibility. It's the overclock.

Basically, I sat down for five hours trying everything I could to stop the issue from uninstalling display fusion, to bringing my setup down to one monitor. Nothing seemed to work until someone suggested I downclock the card. I told them I already tried using gigabyte's own software (oc guru) to which they informed me that oc guru is apparently garbage.

They linked me to MSI's afterburner software which, for some odd reason, WAS able to downclock the card, so even gigabyte's software can't tell this card what to do it seems. After informing the support staff through email of this development and a video of the crash occurring, (which by the way, they thought was the problem the first time I sent it in.) they, to their credit, sent me a shipping label for UPS to send it back in.

Not wanting to just send it back in just so they could say it's fine just like the first time and send it back STILL broken, I decided to call their tech support.

After a more than thirty minute hold time and a discussion with the rep, he tried to tell me that the card is for pci express 3 motherboards, which I don't have and that some games will "Force the card to output in pci express 3.0". After laughing into my handset at this ridiculous statement, I decided to go down his idiot rabbit hole and pointed out that the card clearly states that it is backwards compatible with pci express 2.0, to which he said yes it is.

Apparently backwards compatible means you just can't play many games to this man. Realizing that the conversation was going to go nowhere past this point, I hung up. I'll now find a pci 3.0 board to slap this piece of garbage in and prove that:

1. This guy is an idiot.
2. This card is messed up.

I'll update again once I send it back in and get it back.

Just to bottom line it, If the card works, it's great for anything you can throw at it, if it doesn't, gigabyte will be a huge pain in the neck that will apparently hook it up to some diagnostic machine that goes "durr, looks fine". Not sure if that's worth the risk when you can pay about 20 more for a much more reputable company's card.

Oh and don't go yelling it's my power supply. I have a 750W power supply. I have tested it and it puts out good power, and the requirement for the card is only 600W. The one thing I wanted to avoid with this build is skimping on the power supply, and it does a fantastic job. (corsair, and I highly recommend it.)

1 out of 5 eggsNo resolution

Pros: seemingly powerful card.

Cons: Either drivers or some sort of incompatibility in my system is causing problems.

Basically, While doing some heavy gaming like batman arkham asylum, crysis 3, or even dark souls 2, my screens will go black, the sound will hiccup rapidly, and then I am brought to my desktop with the message "display driver stopped responding and has recovered.

I RMA'd the card since support said they had no reports of this issue. They then said the card passed diagnostic and sent it back. Out of curiosity, I upgraded my power supply from 750 to 850 in case it somehow was pulling way more volts than it should. The problem continues to persist. Not sure what to do with this expensive piece of junk. Wish I'd gone with evga or something instead.

Other Thoughts: No suggestions or ideas from gigabyte or nivida on fixing the issue.

Support is only really useful or active through the newegg support email. Contacting gigabyte through their website is a waste of time.
