1 out of 5 eggsPoor quality control.

Pros: Worked well for 5 months.

Cons: Crashes to desktop trying to play the gift game it shipped with. Crashes immediately during Heaven Unigen benchmark. Used to avg 97 frames.

Waste of time... Had another shipped out just before this card stopped working. Had intended to SLI. Now I'v got a boat anchor and another potential anchor on the way. Will be wary of purchasing another gigabyte card.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat card when working.

Pros: Devours whatever you feed it. Runs relatively cool and quiet. Sturdy backing plate. I personally think it's a great looking card. Worked for 6 months... just long enough to save up for a 2nd one and order while on sale.

Cons: Worked great for 6 months. Started to hear what sounded like coil whine. Games crash regularly now.

Unigen Heaven benchmark used to score 97 fps average. Now it crashes to desktop immediately. "Display Driver NVIDIA Windows Kernal Mode Driver ... has stopped responding." Rolled the driver back to no avail.

Borderlands 2 The PreSequel shipped as a bonus download with the 2nd card I recently ordered . Unplayable. Crashes to desktop due to "lack of video memory." This occurs with the previous game as well, Borderlands 2, which I managed to play through once without any issues.

NvidiaInspector, running in the background, shows the card using a max 1gb of video memory.

Not impressed in the least with the reliability of this card. Wish it had shown it's defects sooner

Other Thoughts: The 2nd card is arriving next week. Hopefully it's not a dud. Maybe i'll be running SLI someday as I'd intended

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well, runs games better than my AMD 6970

Pros: Runs almost all of my games maxed out at 60-90FPS, BF4 maxed out is constant 90+ FPS.
Very quiet, compared to the AMD 6970, I turned the fan up to about 80 and it is still very quiet.
In my opinion and after dealing with the AMD cards many issues, this is the best card I have ever used and I have had little issues after getting everything squared away.

Cons: None after I figured out the issue, tech support wasn't the most helpful but it's tech support and not worth docking any stars.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this card via another website but I thought I would post the review to potentially help others with problems they have with this card.

When I first got this card, and installed it I did a manual removal of all the AMD drivers instead of doing a complete driver sweep. The problem I was having was BSOD's after about 5-10 minutes of gameplay in any game. I assumed it was overheating but that was not the issue. I troubleshooted many different issues related to hardware and software and considered doing an RMA. If you are going from any video card to this one I strongly suggest using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper, as manually removing AMD drivers does not appear to be enough. When I was ready to quit I tried Driver Sweeper and success! My problem was solved.

1 out of 5 eggsGIGABYTE GV-N780GHZ-3GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: looks bad nice!

Cons: does not work for some games such as Terra. it will sometimes let me play up to 30 minutes and then start kicking me out. after getting back into the game, maybe every 5 minutes or less I will get kicked out of Terra. Some games will just freeze or plainly get kick out of the game.

Other Thoughts: I should have read the reviews before buying. Will definitely read before buying next time. I will definitely find another brand to try for the next GPU upgrade.

1 out of 5 eggsTime lost on bad product

Pros: When it works, it's great.

Cons: Same as everyone else. Black screens on games. some games can't even be played. was missing screw.

Other Thoughts: I forever thought it was a driver issue, but reading these reviews and seeing the same problem. I can't believe i didn't return this faster. I don't even know if i can. I'm so disappointed with this card.

1 out of 5 eggsFreezing Problems

Pros: Works great on some games like titan fall.

Cons: When playing games like guild wars 2 on max the game will freeze and I will get an error saying the nvideo kernel has been dropped or something close to that. When I play heroes and generals as a pilot the game will freeze after 5 mins . Never had a problem with my old video card.

Other Thoughts: runs loud.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bought 5 cards for a commercial flight sim. Cards run ~10 hours a day, all around 50c, I use MSI afterburner to control fan speed. They where all run with furmark for 8 hours as a burn-in. No issues that anyone here has had so far.

Cons: None yet, though I wish that dvi to VGA adapters would have been included.

5 out of 5 eggsprice meets performance

Pros: I'm running two of these cards in SLI. Prior to getting the second one I ran a single card setup for about 5 months. These are really terrific cards and I like just about everything that they bring to the table. They offer great performance for the money, coming in just behind 780 ti's in most benchmarks. With one of these cards, one can max out nearly any game at 1080p/60 fps provided that there is no resolution scaling or "ubersampling" enabled. In SLI, it is utter overkill at 1080p. One can easily run The Witcher 2 with all graphical options maxed (including ubersampling) or Battlefield 4 at 150% resolution scale and 4x msaa and still hit 60fps. I can't wait to try this duo out on a 1440p high refresh rate monitor. I should mention here that temps are great provided you keep good airflow going through your case. Even in SLI, provided that you a little space between cards, temps are fine. Finally, this card looks great and in my opinion is the sexiest non-reference 780 design.

Cons: If you're into overclocking and tinkering with gear you might be a bit disappointed. With such a ferocious overclock already applied from the factory, there isn't much more room to OC. I was able to get the memory clock up 400 mhz and the core clock up 20 mhz, but even with these modest adjustments the card is still only somewhat stable, and did crash a few times. Still, you have to keep in mind that these things are already seriously overclocked, so even if you cant get much more out of them it is only really a loss insofar as the process of overclocking itself can be fun. My only other ding against this card is that i get a slight bit of sag when i mount it on my motherboard (Asus Z97-Pro). It's barely noticeable, but I wonder what will happen over time.

Other Thoughts: It's not really a con per se, but the top card tends to get a bit hotter than the bottom one in SLI. I understand that this is basically universal in SLI setups, but I think it's exacerbated in this scenario by the fact that the Windforce coolers dump hot air out the side of the card into the case rather than venting it out the back like the reference cards. I haven't really noticed an adverse effect in game, since both stay under 80c, but this could be an issue as time goes on.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: This thing is pretty quiet and runs every game I have at ultra settings, even watch dogs. I only bought one. I have nothing but good things to say about this. It's powerful and can run anything.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Eats AAA games - poops FPS.

Cons: One time, I was able to hear it over my h100i cooling fans.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, this is the best card I've ever owned. For the price/performance, I can't justify a Ti or Black over it. Specifically, the Windforce model keeps things extra cool and quiet when listening for gamer tears hitting the floor three cities over, crying over their baked potato that tried to compete at the same graphical settings.
