4 out of 5 eggsFast

Pros: Very fast, works well. Cheaper than Titan/Titan Black
Runs every current game 1080p max settings with averages in the 50s+ with i7-4770k.
Gigabyte's Windforce cools it extremely well even at OC, quietly.

Cons: My screen would frequently lose signal and GPU load went to 0% for a while, Windows would report Nvidia driver would stop responding.

To fix this issue I had to overvolt GPU, in GPUTweak I set power to 116% and max power up slightly, since doing this I have not experienced this issue. Would have expected Gigabyte to have this setup already in place where this would not occur at manufacturer OC.

Other Thoughts: Con lost it an egg.
If you are looking to buy a 780Ti you already know how good it runs, this keeps it cool, very quietly.

2 out of 5 eggsAmazing, when it's working

Pros: -Very fast core clock out of the box
-Quiet fans with a quality heatsink
-Runs almost all my games at 1440P 60FPS V-synced

Cons: -Memory clock speeds have to be dropped at least 100mhz so the card will remain stable playing games. Eventually will crash the game no matter what is done.
-Gigabyte doesn't respond to their emails, nor do they really acknowledge there is anything wrong with the card.

Other Thoughts: I have a seasonic 1kW platinum psu, 4770K, msi z87-45, 16GB corsair 2133mhz all inside a corsair 900d.

Go to a search engine to type in gigabyte 780 ti artifacts. There definitely are a few pages worth of the issue I mentioned already.

5 out of 5 eggsA Beastly Card

Pros: -Faster than 2 7970's GHZ in crossfireX
-Decent Vram buffer for most games.
-The triple fan heatsink, keeps temps below 70c even with Nvidia Surround and heavy settings with Skyrim.
5760x1080p Ultra, 2AA,2AF with texture mods, hardly drops below 55FPS.

Cons: -Lack of a backplate (Very little difference from this and the GHZ edition and for 650+ dollars, they could handle that)
-Doesn't overclock very well. (See below)
-Costly, but you get what you pay for.
-No free games offered at time of purchase.

Other Thoughts: When I initially got this card I was a bit scared since I saw so many reviews saying this card is a dud.

I've tried to overclock past it's GPU boost level of 1137mhz and 7000mhz Vram clocks. Vram doesn't mind 7700mhz or so with a +75mv over-volting but doesn't seem worth that torture for such a small gain. I might be able to get the extra 20-30mhz overclock from it but once again not worth a 75mv over-voltage. As is, haven't seen much to slow it down. If you get a good one, keep it or SLI it. As good or better than a T Black, just not as much Vram.
Would buy another without hesitation.

1 out of 5 eggsCrashing and burning after 4 months

Pros: Handles games with ease when it decides to work.

Cons: Had this card for 4 months, every once in a while I would get kicked to the desktop after a few seconds of black screen in games, figured it might be driver related and always did a clean driver uninstall and clean install when new drivers were released, but it would still happen sporadically. Now it's happening often even on the latest drivers. Rolling back hasn't helped.

Newer more demanding games seem to make it happen a lot faster. I can play Batman Arkham Origins for 20-30 minutes before it either stutters to a halt or crashes to desktop. Metro Last Light is completely unplayable as it freezes randomly, oftentimes as early as 5 minutes into it. Seriously frustrating. This is on a new build with a 650 watt power supply.

Apparently this issue is rampant on Gigabyte's 780ti line. The card can't keep up with the stock factory overclock. As another reviewer stated, I would have just bought a stock reference card if I knew I would've had to underclock this card for stability.

Unfortunately I am past Newegg's return window for this defective product. When I tried to begin the RMA process on Gigabyte's website, it said the SN# I used was out of warranty. SIGH. I will amend this review if I ever get this card fixed.

Other Thoughts: Good luck if you decide to buy this card.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing. That is all.

Pros: It's a 780ti. I bought two of them. They look good, fairly quiet. They absolutely play anything at 1440P super smoothly. Over 100fps in BF4 completely maxed out. Although, with Crysis 3 I still found spots in the game where it dipped to the mid 40s maxed out.

Cons: Not really a total con, but I had these stacked on top of each other. One card ran ungodly hot (93ºC) and one of the fans rubbed the lower card after a bit.

Simply just had to move the bottom card down a slot with no performance loss and almost equal temps now.

So, keep that in mind if you intend to SLI.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: * Quiet
* Stable
* Powerful - runs all games maxed out, no issues at all.

Cons: * Very expensive
* Power draw (my UPS fans spool up immediately when I'm in heavy games like Far Cry 3)

Other Thoughts: I just came from a Windforce GTX 680 that I was very pleased with so when I saw they had a 780 Ti with the Windforce cooler I jumped on it. So far I've had zero issues whatsoever. I have not overclocked it beyond the stock clocks. I am hopeful I don't have any issues down the road as we get into summer and the temperature here in my house rises about 10 degrees.

Rig Specs:

Asrock 990FX Extreme 4
AMD FX 8350 - 8 Core CPU
16GB DDR3
Silverstone 1000W PSU
GTX 780Ti
Vista 64-bit

5 out of 5 eggsWas scared with the reviews

Pros: After reading all the reviews I was scared to purchase this card but then again other sites had nothing but praises for this card. Decided to give it a chance and I will say I am not disappointed. Card runs cool (27C Idle -56C in use) and quite. Handles everything I have thrown at it and no "crashes" yet.

Cons: May just be my card but didn't want to over clock too much. Got the card up 80mhz and stable. I was gettting a little artifacting and screen tearing around 100mhz. Then again this card does come clocked at 130mhz faster than reference cards.

Other Thoughts: Take a chance, for the price you won't be disappointed!

1 out of 5 eggsBought 1/16/14 and now crashing!

Pros: I bought two of these cards because they where the fastest at the time on air cooling. I gave a positive review and recommended them. Now coming back on new egg I see a lot of negative comments regarding the cooling. Well, it looks like my cards are doing the same. I have the latest Nvidia drivers, so I know it's not drivers. My PC random reboots all the time now. The back plates on the cards are hot. I have a good case for these cards (corsair 600t with plenty of air flow). Have not had the cards 3 months and I'm not happy after spending over $1400 on them here on new egg. Debating on returning them and or exchange for a pair of different 780 Ti.

As I'm typing this review, my pc rebooted twice because of the cards. I'm using chrome as my web browser since it saved all of my typing.

Cons: Overheating?! Reading other comments to lower the speed. I'm not going to do that just to have these cards run a stock settings. If so, I should of just bought the reference cards.
