5 out of 5 eggsA+++++

Pros: can run almost all the games at medium or high graphics with 60fps or more. Cool and quiet.

Cons: Can't run heavy games at max graphics at 45 fps or more.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's about right for me

Pros: Decided to upgrade from my GTX 285, its faster, smoother and consumes less power. I'm not the ultimate gamer but this card allows me to max out the settings on what I use and its quiet.

Cons: Not sure if I will ever play the free game, its a steep learning curve. Lower price would have been preferable.

Other Thoughts: Liked it enough to buy a 2nd one.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent mid range card.

Pros: Runs most games just fine. Newer demanding titles require a resolution change and/or settings changes to get desirable performance, but I new this going in as I just needed something to use between now and a more substantial upgrade. Runs cool and overclocks close to a Amd 7850 level of performance while keeping close to stock temps. Dual fan design is a bonus. Runs quiet.

Cons: Not going to run newer demanding games at highest settings but that is a given. No card in this price range does. It can however run them just fine if you lower some of the settings. Still ends up better than console quality.

Other Thoughts: Wish there was a Gigabyte case sticker included but that's just a nitpick and not a valid complaint, lol.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat card, but wheres dx11.1?

Pros: -fantastic card
-fantastic price (i guess this is because theres no sli)
-i like the input options, display port screens are overrated
-i havent seen it go above 52C yet
-decent overclocking potential
-looks beast... only wish I could see the cool side on a regular basis

Not in the description:
-768 cuda cores (which is really all you need for consumer 3d applications or whatnot that use cuda)
-fans are quieter than my stock fans, in fact, half the time i can't tell if they are running because they are so quiet.
-surprisingly lower voltage usage than I expected.

Cons: -no sli, but i don't really count that because I never spend the money to get two cards for sli anyway
-why this is 4 stars instead of 5:
-i have three monitors set up, two come out of this card and another out of the onboard gpu. the vga that comes out of this cord appears to be occasionally wavy and old-fashioned analogy like an old tv. I suspected that this was due to the frequency but i maxed it out and the distortions still occur (on a less frequent basis). I think there are probably several different reasons why this could be happening (vsync issues, pcie2.0-3.0 compatibility, shared memory with onboard gpu, etc...) but as for the exact cause im not sure yet. I have noticed however that this issue isn't always consistent, usually if i'm working on that monitor it fades away but when Im not it is more obvious....
-Now where is DirectX 11.1? speccy and cpuid and the nvidia control panel all say that this is a directX 11.0 card and one of the reasons I bought it was because of its 11.1 capability... i could just be missing a driver or something or maybe it just downgraded because it's in a pcie2.0 slot, either way, there should be some documentation on that somewhere at least.

Other Thoughts: -hope to get it to be 11.1
-hope to fix monitor issues
-will overclock when the time is right

-I use this for boinc which its not doing anything. does well

-all in all:
buy this card if you are a normal person and don't ever plan on using sli, best bang for your buck here, in fact i'd say it rivals usually cheaper amd cards. id be weary of the DirectX status and of the vga output.

2 out of 5 eggsOK Graphics card

Pros: Great everyday use card. Love the number of ports monitor connections-run (2) 24+" monitors

Cons: Somewhat slow in high end games and get random (and annoying) "seam lines" across game screens

Other Thoughts: Great general use card...but heavy gaming spend the extra $50-$100 to move up

4 out of 5 eggsGets the Job Done

Pros: Many outputs which is great for hooking up an extra monitor that you might have laying around. Runs cold under load (46-54c) in a small poorly ventilated room and doesn't get too loud. It doesn't hesitate to run any games so far for me. You aren't going to be able to run Highest settings on Demanding games, but it will run them fine on slightly lower settings. Doesn't take up too much space in my case even with the extended windforcex2 cooling fins.

Overall: For the Price this card is AWESOME. Offers many output options w/o adapters. Runs Cold and handles Many games.

Cons: There is a very annoying Screen tear that goes across the screen horizontally about 1/3 and 2/3's up from the bottom. Mostly happens 2/3's up and during moving scenes it sometimes just tears across the screen and can break some immersion. I am going to try to re-seat it and see if maybe it could be some dust in my system. Also I do run into various Driver failure issues and "auto fix".
