1 out of 5 eggsUnsatisfactory Performance

Pros: Able to max out almost every game at 1080p

Nice FPS

Cons: Constant crashing, not one passed benchmark, overpriced, no support, artifacts, crashes lock up entire PC forcing numerous forced restarts, unstable, runs hot

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS CARD!!!!! I have had this card just over a year, and have experienced only very brief moments of satisfaction, before drivers crash, artifacts emerge and my entire PC freezes up requiring forced restarts. I had high hopes for this card in my new build witch consists of a Cosmos II, SAMSUNG 840 EVO, ASUS Sabertooth X79 LGA 2011 Intel X79, 32 GB Kingston Hyper x Blue, Intel i7-4930K LGA 2011, CPU Cooler H100i, 910w Silencer PSU. After plenty of fresh windows installs and driver updates, nothing, and I mean NOTHING has alleviated the performance issues with my card.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 780 Ti GHZ Edition @ASUS Maximus VI Hero Z87 & i7-4770k

Pros: Faster than the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming, matches the EVGA GTX 780 Ti KINGPIN Edition when overclocked.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I have owned this card for about 2 months now. I am very happy with it.

This card is extremely fast. Here's some proof:

1. 3D Mark Fire Strike GRAPHICS SCORE at Stock Clocks: 13010

2. 3D Mark 11 GRAPHICS SCORE at Stock Clocks: 16888

When slightly overclocked, which this card does with ease, this card matches or exceeds EVGA GTX 780 Ti KINGPIN 3D Mark 11 Graphics Score of 17300 3D Marks.

To understand just how fast this card is, a GTX 690 scores 17600 3D Marks (Graphics Score) at 3D Mark 11. Currently, this card is No 6 at 3D mark COM "Best Graphics Cards December - 2014 ".

A GTX 980 scores 18050 3D Marks Graphics Score at 3D Mark 11 COM.

I have had zero problems with my card, which I bought as "open box".

I own a high quality PSU that features a very strong 12V rail@70 Amps.

Full System Specs for ppl who are having issues with this card to compare with:

-CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K @ 4GHz Multi Core Turbo.
-MOBO: ASUS Maximus VI Hero ROG Intel Z87 Express
BIOS Version 1301, Jan 2014. (My BIOS is one year old)
-PSU: Silverstone Strider Gold 850W
-CASE: Cooler Master COSMOS RC-1000
-RAM: G.SKILL ARES DDR3-2133 MHz.@2200 MHz
-CPU FAN: Thermaltake FRIO OCK

A further note, this card's Windforce cooling so so effective that I am able to run the GPU with ALL my four case fans switched off and only the CPU FAN running at lowest revs. This allows for a COMPLETELY SILENT system. The card never exceeds 59 Celsius.

(My Cooler Master COSMOS RC-1000 case features additional sound proofing material and was designed to be silent).

So, 17k 3D Marks and a completely silent system, this sounds perfect to me. Hope this post helps ppl.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Unstable

Pros: Runs very Cool, silently and fast... when it works

Cons: Unstable, crashes on any benchmark test, freezes all the time, tons of gamers with the same issue on the internet, just search for "Gigabyte GTX780ti crash". DON'T BUY THIS VGA.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully, Newegg's RMA Service is absolutelly outstanding, everything is now solved, THANK YOU NEWEGG.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card

Pros: Even thought there were very mixed reviews, I can assure you this card is a beast. It is imperative that you have a proper power supply along with adequate case ventilation since this card is not a blower style. I have had it for two days now, and it has seen many hours running solid on Unigine Valley Benchmark @1080p Ultra setting. I haven't gamed a whole lot yet, but it will hold a steady 144FPS (V-sync with Asus VG248QE @144hz) in Black ops 2. Just got Far Cry 4 with the card, but haven't played yet...

For an even better test, I also have the MSI Twin Frozr gaming GTX 780 Ti also. I have both of these cards in SLI with the MSI card overclocked to match the Gigabyte GHZ edition. I went further as to increase the power target, overclock the memory and GPU clocks, and increase the voltage on BOTH cards above the factory GHZ edition. Running SOLID on the ASUS VG248QE @144hz with 2 side monitors at 60hz.

Current overclock setting are:
-GHZ edition:
>>106% Power Target
>>+15mhz GPU clock
>>+200mhz Memory clock
>>+37mV
>>aggressive fan profile

-Twin Frozer:
>>105% Power Target
>>+120mhz GPU clock
>>+200mhz Memory clock
>>+12mV
>>aggressive fan profile

All using EVGA Precision X16.

No crashes yet, might overclock even more...

Your power supply needs to be enough to handle this card. For example; I had this very same basic set-up with 3 EVGA SC 660Ti's and a Corsair HX1050 PSU. I could overclock one card by itself no problem. But I could tell that 3 of these cards was pushing it with a 1050 watt PSU. I could not overclock those 3 cards anything over about 10mhz. without a bluescreen.

To make all this work, the rest of the system is:
-3930K @4.5ghz
-ASUS P9X79 WS
-2x8bg Corsair Dominator Platinum 1600mhz
-2x 840 pro raid 0
-Corsair AX1200i
-Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra tower
-Many NOCTUA case fans.

Hope this help everybody out. Game on!

Cons: There are only a few "downsides", but nothing major:
>>The card is significantly heavier than a normal 780ti with all the fans, heatsink, and backplate. Make sure you support it well while screwing it to the case. (A stiff SLI bridge helps here)
>> It is long, even with a CEB from factor MoBo, it still extends past the sata ports...

But these aspects aren't really "cons" just thought the info might be handy....

Other Thoughts: Yes i would by it again, yes i would like to get one more and 3-way SLI this sucker! But it is plenty adequate just as it.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful Card

Pros: -Plays any game at max settings.
-Three fans for cooling

Cons: -Might be an issue with Nvidia experience
-Could potentially get very hot

Other Thoughts: This card is a monster. The three attached fans are good. I ran Assassins Creed Unity (which I selected as my free game) and it looks spectacular. Never passed 62 degrees Celsius. Maybe I didn't get one from the supposed bad batch. The back plate looks cool too.

5 out of 5 eggsDid you update your BIOS?

Pros: Fastest card I've ever owned. Looks great, haven't OC'd yet but temperatures stay pretty cool. Also, it has reference PCB so I can water cool it when I'm ready without having to buy a special block.

Cons: It didn't work super well at first. Then I updated my BIOS and it worked fine, so that's not really a con.

Other Thoughts: ANYONE SAYING IT DOESN'T WORK, TRY UPDATING YOUR MOTHERBOARD BIOS.

The first week I had the card I was super disappointed with it. Games crashed, artifacts were abundant, and I felt like it was getting much too hot. Of course, I RMA'd it, received it back within 2 weeks, and Gigabyte couldn't find a thing wrong with it.
I troubleshooted everything I could, from my motherboard to my PSU, but nothing in between was the issue.

Then I updated my BIOS and it worked fine, has worked fine since. It's been about 4 months since I did that.

2 out of 5 eggsNice card for non-intensive use - not so great card for the poweruser

Pros: The card looks nice, it is very quiet.

Cons: The card can't support the type of usage that most users would expect when purchasing this card. The system crashes constantly when trying to perform certain types of video transcoding. Any sort of crypto crack testing such as wpa/wpa2 fails miserably and results in computation errors after only a few seconds to a couple of minutes. The only way I found to correct this is to lower the mhz setting to those of the stock gtx 780 - kind of a waste of money to purchase the 780 ti GHZ when the card can only operate at 889Mhz.

I am not much of a gamer anymore, but I still require a GPGPU that can be put through its paces and come out shining - this card is not once of them - and I purchased two from newegg, same issue with both! :(

Other Thoughts: I decided to purchase the gigabyte card because I have had very good experience with their previous OC cards. In fact, I have been using a GTX275OC for the past 5 years - no issues ever, but tasks take longer than I would like so I figured time for an upgrade. Being a gigabyte product user (9 mobos since 2007) I figured I'd go back to my trusty manufacturer of yesteryear, I'm sorry I did. :(

I decided to try a different manufacturer, so I purchased a couple of EVGA 780 TI cards, installed them in the same systems - have not had one issue. They're rock solid, even though they're a little warm.

Even the GTX770 I purchased in January 2014 died a silent death last week.

Gigabyte, what happened to your product quality?

1 out of 5 eggsDon't be fooled

Pros: This card is absolutely garbage .

Cons: -Is NOT stable at the factory overclock
-Drivers constantly crash
-Build quality leaves a lot to be desired
-Zero overclockability
-Runs hot
-Cost
-Gigabyte support does not recognize the card is faulty
-Gigabyte support does not advance rma
-Gigabyte support does not even know when they will get card in stock for RMA, and if not, they do not know what a suitable replacement is("you may even be able to go AMD"

Other Thoughts: Honestly do NOT buy. I bought this first day of release in January, and soon after i started gaming it got constant driver crashes. Also runs into the 80's quite normally

Thankfully because of AMAZING cs, i was able to swap for an EVGA. I went with the superclocked acx and right from opening the box you saw a night and day difference. So this is build quality. Gorgeous card, gorgeous packaging.
Runs perfectly stable at factory overclock(boosts to 1150mhz)
I was able to overclock it (+80mhz GPU clock, +250mhz mem clock) with zero voltage increase.
