5 out of 5 eggsSomeone asked about running 3 monitors, all of the output ports.

Pros: Excellent video card. I only use Gigabyte video cards. I like the blue color.

Cons: I haven't found any.

Other Thoughts: The information with the video card states that you can only have two active monitors. Even though there's three outputs you can only use two. You need to use at least a 400 watt power supply. For the person who has trouble installing the video drivers, Microsoft always tries to put in their own drivers, and that's what makes it difficult to install the drivers.

2 out of 5 eggsGraphic card

Pros: Works

Cons: It has the power connector too heated, and for $ 10 more you could buy a saphire radeon 7700

5 out of 5 eggsGot it figured out now

Pros: easy installation as it is with all cards these days. nice plus is no power cable needed. plays well with kaveri APU after you do a few things.

Cons: none now that I figured out the crossfire thing on catalyst. amd should explain it a little better.

3 out of 5 eggsBit of a headache getting it recognized!!!

Pros: Good graphics for a low end card. But since I was building a Kaveri build I had to have something the Kaveri plays well with. The R7 250 fit the bill nicely. Installation was easy as is with all cards but a few things came up see below........*sigh*

Cons: we go. The physical installation was easy. However getting Windows & to recognize it as An R7 250 and not some stupid VGA display driver was a royal pain in the buttocks. The path is simple but tricky. Unplug the card from your computer. use the Kaveri APU graphics to install the AMD drivers. I believe they are the 13.12 drivers right now. shutdown the computer. install the card. and go to BIOS. Make sure the card is there in the BIOS. and restart. Then when your system comes up you should have an R7 250 installed not the VGA adapter thingy that WINDOWS wants to call it. The Crossfiring of the APU and the card is a mystery to me as my motherboard doesn't crossfire

Other Thoughts: If it wasn't for the headache of the driver installation I would have loved this card. Next time I go with the R7 260X
