5 out of 5 eggsUpgrading from a GTX 550TI

Pros: Painless driver installation, and stays super cool no matter what I put it through. Graphics are much more rich and I can crank the setting to max on any game with no frame drops. I am running this card exactly as it came with no alterations and it still runs 20+ degrees cooler.

Cons: I have to enter something here. Ummm. If you have anything besides a full tower case you might run into issues with the cards size. I had no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I was looking for!

Pros: After reading a number of posts in the X-Plane forum, and reflecting on the $1200+ (at least) it would cost me to build a minimal "gaming system" to run X-Plane, I decided to risk $150 on the GIGABYTE GV-N75TOC-2GI G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card. I have a vanilla Dell T3500 "office class" desktop with 6Gb of RAM running Win7Pro and the Xeon E5540/2.53GHz which has a low single thread benchmark (1.1) in the tables. The low power consumption (40-60W) and new technology swung my decision. The T3500 already had the 6-pin rectangular power cable and 500W supply so this was a drop-in replacement for the old Quadro I had.

Results: At least for me very good. Frame rates around 60fps in clear air or when flying in zero-visibility cloud with most stuff turned on including HDR, but only with FXAA. Higher SS/FX settings make things a wee bit nicer looking but at a high fps cost. With scattered/broken clouds at 60% cloud and turbulence, I still get 30ish fps, plenty good for my needs. I'm mostly interested in working on my instrument flying so gorgeous vivid lifelike scenery is not that important, but I stil have the scenery turned up almost to the max and it is beautiful. I don't care to see a hundred miles, 50 is fine. With HDR/FXAA I see reflections of the instruments in the windows etc. More realism that I ever dreamed about.

So if you're asking whether $150 will get you a 90%/20% solution with the 750ti and X-Plane I would say yes.

Cons: None so far, given the cost and known limitations.

5 out of 5 eggsAN AMAZING CARD!!

Pros: well to start off the fans are pretty quite I really didn't see a noise increase when I put it in. when I got this card I had the intention to upgrade to something better but after playing with the card I don't see the point to anytime soon I can play almost everything on ultra with an average of 55~60 fps.

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsFar Exceeded Expectations

Pros: I did what everyone else did. I was trying to figure out if it was going to be good enough to run the newer games I wanted to play. It is. period.

TombRaider on High or better: More than 60 fps
Crysis 3 on High. 60 fps
Arma 3 Mostly on High (lessened the distance to around 2500) About 55 fps. Arma is a buggy game to begin with.
SkyRim on High. 60 fps

These are just a few games I have tried. I could go higher on the graphics I'm sure.
I have not done any Overclocking yet on the card.
I moved the power settings to performance in the graphics properties.

My specs
Gigabyte MB Z series
i5 3.3 Overclocked to 4.0
4 gig RAM
Windows 7 32 bit
500 Watt Powersupply

If your specs are even close to mine, just get this card. I havnt even tried to push the card yet and it is exceeding expectations.

I paid $109 after rebate.

Cons: Wastes a slot on your MB.
It is a Gigabyte card and a Gigabyte MB. Why waste a slot??

Other Thoughts: I have not noticed any increase in temps.
My PC is Not any louder now.
I had to move my wifi card to a diff slot and this caused me all kinds of issues with my wifi card. I ended up having to uninstall Zone Alarm Firewall and the card worked perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsGigibyte GTX 750 Ti

Pros: The things that I love most about the card is how quiet it is and how it's looks even though it may not be the prettiest card it still looks good while getting the job I play games like battlefield 4 on ultra high settings and never once had the graphics card go over 50 Celsius in all it is a great card for the price. I get a nice steady 60 frames and it's great I also play Minecraft and get an average of 240 frames I would recommend this card to anyone who is on a tight budget.

Cons: I have non

Other Thoughts: It's a good card you definitely get what you pay for and it overlocked right out of the box is a big plus

5 out of 5 eggs5/5 Fantastic!

Pros: Very affordable and works like a charm! Considering it has the wind force and copper piping it stays very cool even in hotter ambient temps and this also allows it to be overclock very nicely. I would go with any other version of the GTX 750 TI's

Cons: The only cons I can think of is that it requires a 6 pin connector, which any other version of the 750 does not. But if your power supply does not have a 6 pin, no worrys! It comes with a molex to 6 pin.

Other Thoughts: Great all around!

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: What can I say? For $140 this is a steal. Runs almost all of my games on maxed settings. Tomb Raider runs with all settings at ultra except for the hair, doing an average of 55 fps. Shadow of Mordor runs with settings on either high or ultra and does over 30 fps. If you're looking for a budget card for gaming, look no further.

Cons: None. This card is great.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure why the decorate the fan covers, they face down and cannot be seen. But that's trivial.

5 out of 5 eggsJob Done

Pros: Low power, overclocks well, relatively quiet, short (length). Runs cool.

Cons: value compared to less efficient cards is poor (AMD 270 for example).

Minimum fanspeed is far too high and there is no way to lower it. All 750ti cards currently sold have the same problem except the Asus strix.

Other Thoughts: Overclocked to 1294 no problem. I flashed the firmware to allow increase in power limit to 65 watts. The default firmware actually limits the card to something like 45 watts- all of the 750ti cards are like this.

It runs cool and quiet even in my small poorly ventilated case.

It is NOT silent, and but is on comparable with most any "quiet" case fan.
