5 out of 5 eggsEverything works

Pros: High scores, runs cool, quiet, (comes with OC utility however I used MSI afterburner and found it can be overclocked quite a bit)
My rig is built for video editing and this card helps get the job done.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My other system finally die last month (6 years old, the motherboard fried because it was full of dust bunnies). I needed to put together a system for under $500 (alas the total including shipping came to $501... so I just missed it... unless the two $10 rebates actually are honored then I'll be under target). I purchased Gigabyte motherboard GA-970A-UD3P, AMD FX-8370, 16 GB HyperX 1866, and a Gigabyte GTX750... I re-used the case, fans, power supply and SSD drives from the old system. My WEI (windows experience index) scores are CPU 7.8 / Mem 7.8 / Desktop Graphics 7.7 / 3D gaming graphics 7.7 / Disk transfer rate 7.7 This is without any overclocking (though the CPU and memory can handle sizable OC). This system is well balance performance-wise and very stable (which is very important to me). I wanted a rig to used for video editing and this combo is it. It should last me at least another 6 years.

5 out of 5 eggsSeems great so far. I like it!

Pros: Runs well. High quality graphics. Large fan. Quiet. Installs easily. Great product if you don't need to be a HARDCORE hardcore gamer, and if you have other components that balance out its power.

Cons: Fan shield is large and doesn't encase the board. The shield sticks out a little bit and could be annoying if you have a smaller case, but it really isn't that big of a deal honestly.

Other Thoughts: Fits in my micro ATX case and complements my other parts well.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not work under Linux

Pros: None so far

Cons: An earlier review said this device works with Linux. Well it does not work with Fedora 20 Linux. I have never had a video card not work with Linux, but this one causes the screen to go berserk and the rescue program to emit a continuing string of errors. The ASUS bios (for Intel 3770) came up fine, but trying to start Linux was a no-go. Even trying to reinstall Fedora 20 caused grief. When I reinstalled my old video card, everything worked again. So, Linux users, beware. This card may, but probably won't work for you.
When I decide the effort is worth it, I may install this card in my Windows 8.1 box just to make sure the card is OK but simply doesn't work with Linux. I will probably return the card.

Other Thoughts: I researched video cards thoroughly to find one that was a minor upgrade to my current card. I heavily depend upon reviews as well as specs and price. This time another review claiming Linux compatibility was not true for my Linux system. I guess reviews, based upon different systems, may not always hold for your system.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good.

Pros: 4 ports! Its perfect for my current set up. 2 DVI monitors, 1 HDMI monitor, and a TV. Great price for this. I run all 4, I can max out a game on 1, and not disable the others. I even sometimes have a movie playing while im gaming. and browsing the web on another.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: My 3 monitors are two 23" LCDs Samsungs, and one 24" LED Samsung. The LED monitor is connected with a 15' Redmere HDMI cable. I couldnt ask for a better setup. Well, Maybe if I could go HDMI across the board. Maybe in the future

I have yet to receive a Gigabyte product DOA, or have one fail at all. My go to brand for video cards and motherboards.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for the buck

Pros: Short for smaller cases but tall due to the fan setup. Still not a problem at all in standard cases. Very quiet, even while playing games I can't hear it over my case fans. Replaced a dieing GTS450 so there is a bit of a difference in speed. 2 gig helps everything load and feel snappier. When it does get dirty the cooling fin/fan design will make it simple to blow dust and dirt out of the card, unlike my old one. Installed it, the latest nvidia drivers and it was off. Really nice little card.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I checked express delivery since my old card was dieing. Newegg changed it back to standard since I would get the card at the same time since it was shipping out of Toronto. Saved me a couple bucks. I thought it was a nice touch. Day later I had the card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card

Pros: Great performance, not a single hiccup or crash, doesn't overheat, easy to install

Cons: None whatsoever

Other Thoughts: I got this for my middle of the road pc build. I can run all my games on max graphics across the board- Skyrim, Borderlands II, to name just a couple. And an awesome bang for your buck! No complaints whatsoever
