1 out of 5 eggsDOn't waste your money

Pros: Plays games fine. I'm not a gamer though, only played to troubleshoot because ever since I installed it the ridiculously low and impossible to change 2D/idle clock has rendered my computer useless for it's sole purpose of watching movies.

Cons: As stated above, doing anything except gaming on this GPU is going to have you worse off than using integrated graphics. It's a waste of money.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my HTPC because I wanted 1080p resolution to my HDTV. I am not a gamer, but I wanted the HDMI out and the HD support for watching videos. When I installed the GPU the resolution was immediately improved over the VGA connection to the Mobo. At first I was using computer speakers through the 3.5 jack so I didn't notice the problem until I gave them away in anticipation of my stereo receiver, which I haven't bought yet. Anyway, audio to the TV through the HDMI is pretty much useless when watching movies, and ONLY when watching movies. I never miss a chime or alert from the computer, playing games (which I only did to troubleshoot) the sound runs smoothly without hiccups. The problem is when viewing video, which is when the sound starts cutting out intermittently due to the low idle clock of the GPU, which is set by software that seems impossible to bypass. There are countless complaints online in every forum I've visited, with no solution in a single one of them. The solution is buy AMD and use their software to tweak the idle clock to where you need it. This GPU was a waste of $200.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent performance at a cheap price

Pros: The GTX 750 TI is a great chipset and makes any modern game look tremendous. The thermal characteristics makes the card a great match for not causing lots of noise or heat in an existing system. The price of the card makes it a bargain for the performance you get.

Cons: I have given this card a 5 other than every now and then a game I'm playing will stutter, dropping to 5 FPS for a few seconds. This is purely due to the video card; I hadn't ever seen anything like this with my previous GT 420.

It's also the case that when using the HDMI port on this card, with my Acer 2560x1440, the monitor would not come out of sleep without power cycling the monitor. I fixed this by using an HDMI<->DVI adapter to connect to the DVI port on the monitor.

Other Thoughts: My system is a 8 core i7-2600 (3.4GHz) with 8G of memory. I drive two monitors with this card: a Dell 1920x1200 and an Acer 2560x1440

5 out of 5 eggsNice affordable graphics card

Pros: Trying to get what most people care about: it is VERY AFFORDABLE and I am sure you can run any modern game with no issues. I (still) play Skyrim and looks super awesome in Ultra High quality. Batman looks great and so does Witcher 2.

Cons: None that I could tell.

Other Thoughts: If you are in a pinch, get this card. NO DOUBT. If you have money to throw away and want to get a higher-end card like a 780, let me know where you live and you can instead give me the extra cash to me. I am sure that, benchmarks aside, you will not be able to tell the difference in performance, or if you can, you cannot justify the performance increase with the price difference.
