1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice card for the cost *when it works.

Cons: Only about 5 days after the waranty ran out the ram on this card completely gave out.

Go with EVGA or one of the brands that offer lifetime a waranty.

2 out of 5 eggsFailure after 9 months

Pros: For 6-8 months, had two in SLI config. with all the necessary functioning equipment to utilize a quadcore and these two cards. Worked very well on any modern software.

Cons: Complete failure at 9 months. Cards first started creating "dead pixels" on my LCD. Had no way to disprove this as my monitor was aging past 3 years. Today the cards totally failed to render any images and resulted in what I could only describe as a total resolution refresh with every new action taken from the computer.
When I purchased these cards they were new, so these total reviews about failure before 1 year were not available. ***DO NOT PURCHASE THESE CARDS***

Other Thoughts: -"Dead Pixels" @ 4-6 months.
-Weird graphical errors, parts of resolution shading strangely @ 5-7 months. Noticed when BioShock was purchased.
-Total failure @ 9 months.

2 out of 5 eggsCard Failed after nearly 1 year

Pros: Price was right for the features (I thought)

Cons: Card going bad at less than 1 year old. Have read several reviews stating the same problems.
**DO NOT BUY THIS CARD!**
Newegg requires the original box for RMA. Who has the space to keep the box for every product they buy? If I kept every box from all of the products I have bought from NewEgg alone, I would need a bigger house...

Other Thoughts: NewEgg sent me directly back to MSI for RMA/replacement. MSI doesn't even want the accessories, let alone the stupid box for RMA.

2 out of 5 eggsGood when it worked

Pros: When it worked it was a great card. For me it worked for around six months before starting to go bad.

Cons: After six months I started getting what I can only describe as blinking or stationary pixels that would appear/disappear randomly. These dots caused watching video annoying as I couldn't stop focusing on them and any game that has shadows (most recently Bioshock) the pixels would bleed through as red/blue/white blinking pixels. The worst moment thus far was playing Bioshock and having many of the textures display completely black AND having the pixels blink at me (temp then was 55C). I have a CRT monitor so I know it isn't dead pixels. It also began causing graphical glitches and artifacts in many games. I monitored the temp. of the card the entire time and never once did it exceed a reasonable range.

Other Thoughts: I never OCed this card. Its temperature never went too high. I have heard that the problem is probably the tension regulators getting too hot. However, I do not know much about tension regulators or how they affect the video quality.

I'm on the verge of 1 year now and the pixels/graphical glitches are so bad that I can only hope newegg will allow me to RMA.

If you want a card that lasts, don't buy this one.

3 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted

Pros: Card was fast and looked very good.

Cons: Failed after about 11 months of regular use (no over clocking of any kind, just standard configuration). Card received daily use, and even just sitting at the Desktop in windows the system would freeze or reboot randomly and sometimes the card would fail to detect at POST.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good price, had everything I was looking for in a medium-priced strong gaming machine. It worked well at first when I bouth it 9 months ago.

Cons: Card failed and no good drivers for Vista,
After a couple weeks I started getting some flickering, tearing, pixels running off the edge on high end graphics games (NeverWinterNights2). Upgrade drivers which mostly fixed, but still shd some flickering. Then upgrade OS from XP to Vista and since then it's gotten much worse. Updated drivers in April but that introduced "Diagonal Corruption" in some games making them unplayable. Then update drivers again in July but then all Widows got the Diagonal Corruption and I had to roll back. Argh. Going to buy an 8800, heard those are good.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card.

Pros: I've had this card for about one year now and it's never died or given me any issues.

Any game I play will run at high settings. Counter Strike Source runs at 120 frames per second with everything on max settings with the exception of AA and AF which are at 2x and 4x respectively.

Cons: nothing. this card is wonderful.

Other Thoughts: good overclocker as well.
