The NX7300LE-TD128EH is the strong silent type. Based on the GeForce 7300LE GPU the card has a large heat sink that obviates the need for a fan that creates noise and uses power. Also hidden under the heat sink is 128MB of GDDR2 memory. NVIDIA’s TurboCache feature can boost the effective video system memory up to 512MB depending on how much system memory is available.
This card is a great value for enhancing the graphic capabilities of your older system. Take the NX7300 home today!

Works great with Ubuntu Linux and flat panel wide screen
- Pros: I'm using this video card with Ubuntu (Feisty Fawn) and a Hanns-G 194 D wide screen flat pannel display (also from NewEgg). Works great.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: To install the nVidia drivers for this card, I downloaded and installed and ran Envy (http://www.albertomilone.com/nvidia_scripts1.html (Linux only, of course). That got me the 1440x900 recommended resolution from this card for the wide screen monitor.
Card is fine, but picture is misleading
- Pros: Card works as well as it should, and supports all kinds of video outputs. That with the passive cooling makes it an excellent choice for a MCPC, and if you're going the MythTV route, nVidia has good linux support.
- Cons: The picture of this card on the page is wrong. The card I received had a more horizontal cooler, so much that it covered up the adjacent PCI slot, which I wasn't expecting. A friend of mine got the 256MB version of this card, which has the more vertical-syle cooler pictured that doesn't block the adjacent slot.
- Other Thoughts: Some motherboards have an open spot next to PCIX 16x slot for just this reason, so take a look...

Great card for linux box
- Pros: Works great with Linux (Ubuntu 8.04). Compiz Fusion animations are executed flawlessly. It's a silent card. Has a digital (DVI) output, and is RoHS compliant.
- Cons: None - considering this card's budget price.
- Other Thoughts: I used this to replace a noisy ATI card that didn't play nice with Ubuntu. Installation was simple - the OS downloaded and set up the drivers automatically. No problems running a 24" Samsung display at its maximum resolution.
Solid
- Pros: Stable, cheap, can run dualies, can power vista in a business environment.
- Cons: None.
don't buy this
- Pros: cheap
- Cons: too hot, too fat, can only run 1 monitor, crashed every system i put it into so far. i hate this. cannot say enough to denounce it. hopefully i can RMA some stuff to newegg and get it all running again.
- Other Thoughts: spend a bit more and get a 8400gs or something, anything other than this.
