5 out of 5 eggsNo Complaints

Pros: Excellent Price, only significant upgrade is a GTX model for nearly double the cost. Plays every game (so far) very smoothly at or near maximum settings.

Cons: Very large card. Can get hot. Installing a slot fan underneath has solved this (seemingly).

Other Thoughts: I'm running an AMD X2 6000+ with this card, 4GB of G.Skill 4-4-3-5 Ram, 2x160GB WD HDD in RAID-0 all on a Dell 27" flat panel monitor at 1920x1200 resolution and Windows Vista Ultimate x64.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Got a nice game with it.

Cons: Don't buy this unless you have a million fans inside your case! This card runs very hot, so hot it will eventually shut the system down or even the BSOD! This happened a number of times with me and I was only playing Brothers in Arms at that stage, Beware guys and girls. Also there is no included 64bit drivers!

Other Thoughts: Better cooler and it should be ok for almost any game at any resolution.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Great video card. Everything worked out of the box. Factory over clocked. Can easily over clock more. Included game. Very pleased over all. Great value for the money.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW.

Pros: I just built my new PC around this card. this card is just simply AMAZING...especially when you consider that my old card was an EVGA 6600GT OC'd. Running with AMD X2 5600+, 2Gb Corsair XMS2, Gigabyte MOBO, 10k RPM Raptor...etc. I'm one proud papa :)

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: the included OC utility takes the guesswork out of OC'ing your vid card. It comes with presets designed to help with different tasks and it works pretty well. I say this cus I have noticed the increase in performance after bumping the clock...but i have not benched the difference. More on that later.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card but watch for BSOD

Pros: This card runs super fast. Probably tripled my BF2142 frame rate from my x800 pro card. Searching online, it seems the msi 320 is the best card of the 8800 gts family (plus it comes with a great game, thats like getting $50.00 off)

Cons: BSOD on BF2142. From reading posts, the problem is rampant in motherboards with alc883 sound chip. It doesn't seem to matter which brand of 8800 card you have, or wether you are running XP or Vista. The only thing that seems constant is the ALC883.

Other Thoughts: I Used ri##tuner and turned the fan settings up and that seemed to work. It also suggests on the web to disable the "C1E" as it conflicts with the 883 sound chip which in turn conflicts with the CPU, then conflicting with the GPU... AHHHHHHGGGHHH :-?

Anyway, this is an awesome card. I only gave it a 4 because of the BSOD issue.

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: Well, its fast. Really quite fast. I won't belabor this, but it is a lot faster than any 700-series card.

Cons: None, not even price.

Other Thoughts: It's really not that big. About the same size as an old 6800 I had, except thicker. The latest R***tuner unlocked all of the shaders, so it is sort of a crippled 8800gtx now. That made it a little hotter and added a couple of hundred to my 3dmark 05 score.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a monster

Pros: An amazing card. It's factory OCed so it runs better than the majority of stock cards. 320 MB is plenty for games like Company of Heroes, CoD2, and Oblivion. Makes games look unbelievable.

Cons: Long and hot.

Other Thoughts: My case has a screwless type way that PCI-E ports are set up. I had to remove a piece of plastic in between the two port bays to have room for how wide the card is.
