Great card for the money
- Pros: I installed this card into a Dell Optiplex 360 at work and it runs the latest FPS games like TF2, CSS, CoD4, CoDWaW, Farcry 2 fine. You get what you pay for. Its a good low end card.
- Cons: Loud on boot up but thats just until you load the right drivers and then it is fine, shouldn't be a concern if you have the right driver installed.
- Other Thoughts: If you are not looking to spend alot of money but want some decent performance and accelerated graphics, this is a good card, and it is small too as you can probably tell in the pictures.
Epic Fail
- Pros: Don't know yet. It looks pretty.
- Cons: Crashes computer in 3D applications. RMA to repair but they sent it back in same condition. Will try RMA again. Installed on 3 different computers same problem.
Also haven't received rebate either.
- Other Thoughts: Too much time and money wasted on defective product.
Going with ATI card next time.
inexpensive upgrade
- Pros: big performance increase from no video card
- Cons: fan is definitely not quiet. loudest at start-up, but that is not a big deal.
- Other Thoughts: i purchased this in an attempt to make an old acer more capable of playing WoW. going from a single core processor with 1 gig of ram running vista to the same with this set-up definitely made a difference. i later added 2 additional gigs of ram and the combination has made this comp into a decent machine. it's by no means a dream build, but it was an inexpensive upgrade to a system that could barely handle simple tasks.
