Loud Fan
- Pros: This card has adequate performance for htpc functionality. Temps are cool, the card has never gone above 40C in my antec p182.
- Cons: The fan generates a high pitch woosh sound that is by far the loudest thing in my computer. It is very annoying even at it's lowest speed of 30%.
- Other Thoughts: This card is not powerful enough for gaming and perhaps too loud for a htpc.
- Pros: Good value, quiet and not much of a power hog. I have only had this for about a month but in general my previous MSI purchases have been very reliable.
- Cons: Not really a bleeding edge quality GPU, but can't expect that for the price. You will also need to get an HDMI adapter if you wish to use that type of interface.
- Other Thoughts: For those of you playing Warhammer Online and finding a lot of catching, blurring, and CTD's with your current GPU. This GPU works very well and appears to be fully supported by the game.
Nice
- Pros: I have always had great luck with any MSI video card, (have owned 3) this one is no different. Plug it in, load the disk, update the drivers and your set. They always work!!
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: For the price, I am gonna run with this card for awhile. I don't play many games, but I have seen people run 3650 DDR2 cards with games. I am gonna borrow some newer games to see what this thing can do.
