5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: This card works great - I can run any game or app at decent settings with the exception of Crysis but that may be due to my underpowered CPU. Hard to beat the price.

Cons: Its large and you do need a connector from your PSU or buy an adapter like I did - uses 2 molex outlets combined into 1 connector for the card.

Other Thoughts: Newegg ships FAST.

5 out of 5 eggsMSI 9800GT

Pros: Great video card. Very quite fan. OC'd right out of the box. Fold's great. I'm very happy with it.

Cons: Not the best looking video card.

4 out of 5 eggsRuns PONG exceptionally well

Pros: Plays Crysis and Bioshock at high settings. All other games that I have it just eats up and spits out. Nview control panel has lots of features ill never need. It's just plain fast. Along with ASUS and ABIT, MSI products have never let me down.

Cons: No Molex to 16X pci-e adapter. This was dissapointing considering the case PS I ordered with this card didn't come with one either so I had to hack my own. A little research and mental fortitude is all ;-) Fan gets uncomfortably loud under load. Fills my case with component searing heat.

Other Thoughts: What I really wanted was a version of this card with the 2 slot cooler that poops the hot air out the back of the case( $30 more). This delusion with everyone wanting single slot cards that recirculate hot air within the case warranting extra (noisy) case fans is asinine. I like the fact most Geforce 2XX series have 2slot coolers.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat price/performance

Pros: Cost effective
Powerful (enough for me)

Cons: Confusing cluster of like-spec'd products from MSI... this is one of several near-identical cards that vary slightly in pre-overclock settings, heatsink/fan config, color variation, etc. Good luck sorting it all out with any real confidence or authority. MSI is certainly of little help there. But, other than that, little to complain about.

Other Thoughts: Moved up from my last Price/Performance Video Card purchase which was, at the time, a BFG 7600GT OC. Paid similar price back then (around $100) and like that card, this card offers an excellent value and fits neatly in the same value category. Sure.. there are faster cards available. However, you need to dig deeper into your wallet for them and, for many applications, the added power may not be worth your investment in terms of realized gain (more FPS is never bad... price per added FPS, though, may be offputting to some).

This card cuts through everything I need/want it for like butter and offers a really nice boost over the 7600GT it replaced. Playing COD WaW and TR Underworld at 1650x1080 (on a Core2 Duo E6600 + P65 Chipset Mobo) and it's nice and smooth (other than some known buggy TR Underworld/Driver issues that are not card/performance related).

It's also much quieter than my 7600GT was, since that card would fire up the fan into jet-engine mode when starting a 3D Game

5 out of 5 eggsDOA :(

Pros: Dead on Arrival :( sad. I give it five stars simply because I hate it when people give one for DOA products. Also i give it five because newegg was great with the return. I called and told them what happened and they took the product back without charging me S&H or a 15% restock. Newegg is a great website, I will always come back here, they have the best prices and best service.

Cons: DOA, oh well. I have used about 10 MSI cards in the past, and this is the first that I have had any issues with. It's all good, MSI rarely disappoints me, I will gladly purchase from MSI in the future.

Other Thoughts: When this was DOA, i went ahead and purchased a evga geforce 9800 GT. it's a great card so far, check it out if you want to check out another good card

5 out of 5 eggsMSI 9800GT-T2D512-OC

Pros: Excellent card for the price. I installed this in my system to replace an XFX 8800 GS and there was an immediate improvement in FPS on all my games. It maintains a failrly low temperature even when running demanding games. Crysis runs fairly well at medium settings but I don't really have a high end machine so I'm satisfied with what I'm experiencing. Once I do upgrade my motherboard and processor I will be transplanting this card into the new set up.

Very quick delivery service from Newegg (as usual)

Cons: Did not include the necessary power connector.

Other Thoughts: This card is an excellent investment for the budget gamer so if you can afford it buy it. I recommend downloading and using Nvidia's driver's rather than those in the Install Disc.

5 out of 5 eggsGamer

Pros: Price, fast shipping and free shipping. Have it running
on a c2d 2400 OC'ed to 2.8 with 2 gig of 667 memory.
Runs Crysis, Warhead, COD4 and several others with ease. Runs better on XP than on Vista.

Cons: Had a slight heat problem until I adjusted my fans,
had to increase the flow.

Other Thoughts: I love the ability to OC the card with the Utility provided
by MSI. The price, with a game and a rebate, I figured
the total cost is something like 65 bucks. Last year I bought an 8500gt with a rebate and I did get the rebate all though it took a while.

5 out of 5 eggsWOWzers!!!

Pros: I got this card wanting the ability to upgrade to Vista and have the HD right there, no need for anymore upgrading, LOVE how this runs WoW max settings at 1600x900. 20buck MIR was awesome...helps me pay my CC Bill!!

Cons: Box says it have the power cable needed, but it doesn't....I couldn't find an adapter close buy and needed a new P/S anyway, no biggy to get one.

3 out of 5 eggsFast but noisy

Pros: 1) The card is fast! I've been happy with my 9600GT, but with this card I can have the same performance with higher quality settings

2) The price is in my comfort level now

Cons: 3) Noisy! I can her it 2 rooms away with closed doors! I guess I'll have to look for other cooling or return it back to the store.

Other Thoughts: I don't understand why other reviewers can call this little jet a "quiet card". I guess I got a lemon.
