3 out of 5 eggsOkay for the price

Pros: Cheap, decent card for the money. Native HDMI out is a definite plus, as well as being absolutely silent.

Cons: Card puts out a noticeable amount of heat, so make sure your case is well ventilated. I ended up having to drop a PCI fan in to keep temps down, which kind of defeats the purpose of going fanless.

Other Thoughts: I couldn't get the SPDIF cable to work with the audio outputs on my motherboard, though that's probably just user error.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC card

Pros: HDCP compliant, silent operation, DVI and HDMI outputs. Works great for HTPC use (HDTV and Blu-Ray playback). Fits in a Silverstone GD02 micro-atx chassis.

Cons: The cooler extends above height of normal PCI card so your case must be tall enough to accommodate.

Other Thoughts: I have only used the DVI out. Have not tried the HDMI for video or audio.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet, perfect for HTPC

Pros: Card runs quiet and cool. It's powerful enough to render 1080p perfectly. Actually, it can run a 1080 TV and 1080 touchscreen at the same time just fine. HDCP compliant.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: highly recommend for an HTPC build

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Silent Linux PC

Pros: It took me an hour to configure this card on my Ubuntu box with Twin View (multiple displays). It took me a week of trolling the internet and tweak-crash-reboot cycles to get another GPU manufacturer's card to work on Ubuntu. If you're a no-nonsense kind of guy who wants reasonable, silent performance at a fair price, this is the card to get.

One great thing about it that makes the card unique are the heat fins on the back of the PCB. When you put this card in a tower case, the heat will actually rise off the card instead of just being trapped behind the PCB. It does not take a huge amount of airflow to cool this card. Using regular windows and watching internet videos, the GPU reports 41C. Nice.

Cons: Could be faster? I guess, but it's fast enough for everything I need. This is a workstation, not a toy. Though this card is fast for a silent model. If faster means hotter, I'd stick with this.

Other Thoughts: The HDMI output is nice. If you're building a silent i7 Linux workstation, this is the video card you want.

3 out of 5 eggsdidnt fit

Pros: i popped it in and it had very nice windows scores,, however

Cons: it didnt fit in my antec fusion remote MATX case,, maybe 1/4 of an inch too high with the heatsink

Other Thoughts: decent card, just make sure you have enough height in your case,, off to RMA this thing back to newegg

4 out of 5 eggsIf the card fits...

Pros: buy it. Card is reasonably priced and does what I expected it to do. Decent game graphics for low price and fanless cooling in a media center case. I would recommend this for media center PC but you should make sure that it will fit. Others say it did not fit, but it fit in my Media PC case. (see Below)

Cons: none that I've experience in 10 months of ownership.

Other Thoughts: fits in Athenatech SECC Steel A3708BS.450 ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
I struggled a bit with turning on digital audio because I didn't know what I was doin', but eventually figured it out.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for HTPC

Pros: Plugged it in and it worked, no problems. HDMI, DVI, and RGB output connectors, so you can connect it directly to anything without adapters. Silent fanless operation. Audio over HDMI works perfectly, I even get Dolby Digital when watching my through my tuner cards. This card cleaned up my Blu-Ray play dramatically compared to my old 7600GT.

Cons: Takes 2 slots, unless the card behind it is really small. But that's the price you pay for a large heat sink so you can go fanless.

Other Thoughts: I had no trouble with clearance in a standard size AT horizontal AT case.

This is not a gaming card, but it's perfect for an HTPC.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card for the Price

Pros: I had to respond to the other review. I installed the card
in an InWin C583T Case which has a CPU Fan Funnel above the card slots and it cleared easily. It runs very quiet as aposed to fanned cards and just great 1080p
quality.

Cons: None so far but wish it supported dual monitoring.

Other Thoughts: The extra cost is worth it compared to the fan type
N9500 card.

3 out of 5 eggsNice card i can't use

Pros: Geforce 9000 series card with a fanless heatsink. Also it has a HDMI output. This combination sounds like the perfect combo for a HTPC. That is why I bought it.

Cons: The heatsink sticks up too tall so it doesn't fit into any mATX HTPC cases. This is a total deal breaker.

Other Thoughts: I really wish this card had worked. But every case I looked at does not have enough room above the expansion slots to fit this card. Really disappointed but I have to send it back. I'll get a fanless geforce 8000 series card with HDMI instead.
