Not Bad at all
- Pros: Pretty much bought this card to play World Of Warcraft, along with a new system. On Avg to high settings can get about 30 fps in Dalaran.. drops a bit in 25 man raids, probably between 15-20. Compared to what I was getting before, this card rocks. I am sure there are higher end cards that people would prefer, but for the price, this card gets thumbs up.
- Cons: Trying to get the mail in rebate worked out.
High performance graphics for the masses
- Pros: Bought this to add to a friends build. This card plays almost everything at max resolution of his monitor (10yr old CRT 1600 x 1200). Now he does not play crisis, just all of the Command and Conquer series. Massive upgrade from his ATI 9800, yes he still had one. Finally got him to upgrade the whole rig.
One more point. the cooling on this card is fantastic. installed riva tuner thinking it would have to setup a profile, like i had to do for my plain vanilla PNY 8800GT. The cooling works so well i didn't even bother.
- Cons: it wasn't free
- Other Thoughts: If you are cheap and want to get the best bang for your $$$, then this is the card for you. excellent cooling.
Best bang for the buck.
- Pros: This card replaced an 8600GT, since the old card could not handle 1920x1200. This card will give over 60fps in L4D and other valve games. I couldn't be happier with it, and the price is right.
- Cons: I didn't buy it sooner.
- Other Thoughts: I wish I had an SLI compatible motherboard.
