3 out of 5 eggsSlow Card

Pros: Price

Cons: Slow

Other Thoughts: I expected more out of this card. It just doesn't run the way it should

2 out of 5 eggsBeginning to blow out

Pros: It's been able to play most of the games that I've needed it for including Mass Effect 2, Star Craft 2, and Deus Ex:HR (barely).

Cons: I was not able to get GTA IV to work well with this card. Have recently tried playing Sim City 4 Deluxe and it crashes constantly with an obvious graphics card malfunction of lines across the screen and random colors. It may be because I've owned the card for a little over a year now and it's starting to wear down.

It also runs at an idle temperature of 52C, which isn't great

2 out of 5 eggsNot stable, occasionally

Pros: Installs and works with Ubuntu Lucid. Has HDMI built-in. With rebate it's less than $20.

Cons: Occasionally locks up my system. Passes stress tests and benchmarks almost always, but NOT 100%. Lock ups are not heat related.

Other Thoughts: Waiting on rebate. Got this for less than $20 with rebate. Will RMA with MSI once I get the rebate.

5 out of 5 eggsSo good I bought two

Pros: Price after rebate (a steal for this card). Half height and comes with appropriate bracket if needed. Good performance. 128-bit. Native HDMI. Quiet and runs cool.
Works beautifully in Linux. I was so impressed with the first one; I bought a second for another PC.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Know what you're buying folks. If you're a casual gamer upgrading from onboard or an older graphics card, this will make you more than happy. If you're heavy into graphics applications and/or run multiple monitors the N94GT fits the bill. If you want to pump a signal from your HTPC via HDMI you'd be hard pressed to find a better value. Just don't complain that you're not getting that extra 3 FPS running full resolution over your old gaming adaptor. This is a mid-range card with decent performance intended to fill many needs.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Easy install. Good performance boost, especially over on-board graphics. HDMI is good quality. 128 bit.

Cons: Regular price is overpriced. Would have been a bad deal (though not nearly the worst) without the rebate that was offered when I bought it.

Other Thoughts: The 4 eggs are for the product. Newegg, as always is 5's across the board.

4 out of 5 eggsAdequate

Pros: Small form factor makes a great fit inside my HTPC.

Cons: This is replacing a 9300 whose fan burnt out. Because of the small case that this is in, it was nigh unto impossible to get a small replacement fan that was *quiet*. This fan is slightly louder than the card that it is replacing. Grrr...

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works, and I Got My Rebate!

Pros: Excellent price after rebate. From purchase to rebate delivery date took three months. Installed easily. It's still working after three months. It raised my Win Vista graphics experience substantially over integrated graphics. Runs what PC games I have at full settings. Quiet. I'm happy so far.

Cons: After reading Newegg customers' nightmares with rebates, I sufferred through three months of worry about the rebate. Without the rebate, this was an over-priced, out-of-date card.

Other Thoughts: I sent the rebate form "delivery confirmation" to make sure it arrived. Well, the Post Office tried to deliver it on a Saturday, when MSi is closed. The USPS will NOT attempt to make another delivery, the customer has to come get it from the P.O.! So I emailed MSI several times trying to convince them to go to the P.O. to get my rebate form. To their credit they not only responded via email, but we actually DID get the rebate.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for what I need it for

Pros: It's pretty small. You could probably fit it into an ITX case or HTPC type computer if you wanted. So far I haven't had any limits. I've been playing Oblivion and Borderlands with no real problems. It's a little twitchy in Borderlands with the settings on high, but looks gorgeous on Oblivion with full settings.

Cons: The fan is annoying. Although it only runs loudly when you're using graphically intense programs (i.e. games) which usually isn't a problem since your focus is usually directed mostly towards the game and the noise becomes background static. But whenever I close a game or something, I notice it before it stops and it's a rather irritating sound, as if a wire was touching the baldes (they aren't, I checked...but for reference to the sound).

Other Thoughts: Pretty nice card. I got this with a motherboard combo deal for only 20 bucks total. I don't know if 50 is a decent price for this individually. Check the combos if you're looking for more than just a graphics card.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card for the price

Pros: Small card, fit in with the micro atx mobo it came with. I only bought this cheap card so the other computer in my house can play starcraft 2 with decent graphics.

Cons: Not some overwhelming top-tier card.

Other Thoughts: If there's a rebate offered with it, MSI makes it difficult to claim it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: -Cheap

Cons: -Not that capable but what can you expect for the price

Other Thoughts: I used this card to upgrade from integrated and there was a huge improvement but for $20 more you can get a much more capable card. Plays fallout 3 and most other games on medium 800x600 with a Athlon 64 X2.
