Pros: This is a great card for the money. I have owned this card for about a year now and it still delievers. COD4, fallout, grid, sf4,etc. Gets about 60fps+ @ 1920x1200 on just about anything, and if u go crosfire 2 4850 is the best bang for the buck there is. If u want to truly game this is as low as i would go.
Cons: Better cooler would be a plus.
Other Thoughts: My specs 4850, 2gb ram, 3500+@2.9, xp. All purchased here. If u know u computers u know newegg

Pros: Runs most any game on full settings. Runs S.T.A.L.K.E.R. perfectly and has amazing picture quality.
Cons: BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG! It's nearly a foot long! Be prepared to move your Hard Drives around to fit this thing.

Rating: 4/5Decent Card, bad drivers.
Pros: -Big Fan -Idles at around 37 C with 5 fans in my Antec 300 case -Maxed most any game at 1280 x 1024 -Not super power hungry and runs on my Cooler Master 460 Watt PSU
Cons: -Free game came scratched and didnt install -Drivers are a PITA used multiple sets and found a little success -Blocks a PCI port
Other Thoughts: About the drivers.. idk if my card is defective but it BSOD'd daily while playing most games. I used multiple versions of the drivers doing the whole safe mode and drivers sweeper and all that too, only to make the card not BSOD as often. Besides that its been a good card, not quite enough power to play most new games at 1920 x 1080. If i'd of known about the driver troubles i would have tried nvidia instead.
My system: AMD Windsor X2 6000+ @ 3.2 GHz ECS A780GM-M3 Micro ATX Mobo 4GB OCZ Fatality 1066 RAM This card WD 320 GB HDD x 2 in RAID 0 Antec 300 Case with 2 additional front fans Cooler Master RS-460 watt PSU

Rating: 5/5Worthy card
Pros: Good card for the money, performs well, though I did see some hiccups on the FPS I am playing, though that may not be the card
Cons: Big card, and already falling behind on the tech front.

Rating: 4/5Great card good price
Pros: Works great with all the games I use... Took me a while to adjust them all to the highest settings!
Cons: Get the drivers online... of course that's more of a universal suggestion.
Other Thoughts: The rebate is hard to use because you receive a customer # from new egg and an invoice number from new egg. (MSI asks for the invoice number on the rebate site) Don't get confused as the result could make it so that you don't get your rebate.
Go to "my account" at newegg and get the invoice# from there and print that out. That's what you need to send MSI! Anyway, don't confused as errors and mistakes are how they can afford to do a promotion such as this one and they calculate that into their price!
Also make sure you type in the serial number exactly!

Rating: 4/5Great card
Pros: Fantastic price, fantastic power, just plain fantastic. The 4850 is the best card in its class by far, and MSI provided a good version of it.
It runs at reasonable temperatures, isn't -huge- and doesn't seem to be having any troubles at all.
Overclocking is easy with ATI's Catalyst software and will even test/set the settings automatically for you.
Cons: the 1gig memory version isn't much higher and I wish I'd noticed before I bought this one.
Other Thoughts: It isn't huge, but you certainly can't fit it in a small case -- as with msot any GPU.
It does run a bit hot if you don't has -some- sort of tower cooling.
You'll need an after-market cooling solution to overclock it past 1.1 GHz

Rating: 5/5AMAZING
Pros: Runs amazingly, i can play oblivion in almost every circumstance without going under 35 fps on ultra high detail, and is amazingly quiet on 100% fanspeed
Cons: the plating on the back is upside down on mine so it reads ISW instead of MSI

Rating: 2/5Unusable due to fan noise
Pros: Excellent heat sink, dual slot design. Since fan is always running at 100% (see below), the card stays very cool. Mid to low 30s at idle.
Cons: Fan is uncontrollable through software and very loud. I was astonished to find that there is no way (short of maybe flashing the BIOS) to control the fan speed. The only options seem to be to reroute the fan power connector through a hardware controller or to a fan slot on your motherboard. Running at stock, fan noise is simply unacceptable.
Also no crossfire bridge, so factor that into pricing considerations.
Other Thoughts: If there weren't so many other options, it might be worth it to try to work around the problems with this card. However, 4850s are basically a commodity product now, so there's just no reason to put up with this stuff. Take your business elsewhere!

Pros: Bought it, took it out of the very nice packaging, popped it in, installed the driv- Ok, well the driver that came with it was old, so I downloaded the latest ones. Anyways, it's a simply amazing card for the price, and the cooler is amazing. I have the card overclocked to 700Mhz on the core and 1200Mhz on the memory (CCC preset limit, but I'll push it further later), and the hottest I've been able to get it is 71C in a Furmark stability test. In Jamaica. In Summer. Anyways. It runs cool and runs everything I throw at it maxed out (Yes, even Crysis DX9 w/ 4x AA, I don't use Vista/Windows 7, so I haven't tried DX10 yet), no problems so far. Also, it came with Rainbow 6: Vegas 2, which is a good game, and it's free.
Cons: I'm actually positive that the driver is at fault, but I'm just going to be totally honest. At times there is some artifacting behind text that goes away if you put something over it briefly, and sometimes it stops responding to driver commands and the driver resets itself. So, as I said, the drivers may be at fault, but the problem should go away as soon as I reinstall the drivers.
Other Thoughts: Good price, good card. Good if you're on a budget, it's big brothers can be had for about $20 and $40-50 more.

Rating: 3/5good card, artifacts
Pros: great card, ran all my games max settings, Crysis ran smoothly on very high
Cons: died after 2 weeks, started getting artifacts, the games would crash
Other Thoughts: Very pleased with card, but since I have the money I got the Nvidia GTX 260. If you have the money, jump up to the GTX 260, if not, go Sapphire 4850
