5 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend this card to everybody. The core temperature runs at a low 114 degrees F under load. The drivers beat ATI's Catalyst Control Center, and the card's fan runs very quiet.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This card outperforms the Radeon 4670. Spend the extra little bit of money and take advantage of this card's 256-bit memory interface.

5 out of 5 eggsSatisfied thus far

Pros: I bought this just over a month or so ago, and it has been running very smoothly. Compared to my other video card on my older computer, this one makes me feel like I'm in heaven! It may not be the absolute best video card out there, but I've been playing games like Fallout 3 and Oblivion with little to no lag with the settings cranked up to the max. It's also very cheap.

Cons: None that I've seen.

Other Thoughts: This is a good video card for the price. I doubt it could handle any game out there at max settings, but I don't care about that. If you do, you're going to be spending quite a bit more money.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Worked out of box, quick installation, runs everything i throw at it, maxed out Crysis with a high fps so basically itll take just about anything you throw at it

Cons: Gets a little louder than i'd prefer at times but hey- what do you expect...?

Other Thoughts: Plan on getting a second one of these very soon. Was very pleased with the first

4 out of 5 eggsBought for brother in law

Pros: 1 GB of Ram and 256 bit rate, all the ports work on the card so my brother in law cab have his two monitors and his tv hooked up.

Cons: The price just doesn't seem right I got a recertified one that was $30 dollars cheaper than the price right now which I think is better than the $100 price tag, cause way we are paying for is the PCIe bus transfer speed.

Other Thoughts: Got this for my brother in law to replace his dieing Geforce 8000 series card, but all in all the card is okay for the price

4 out of 5 eggsThere are better buys for the money

Pros: Better than the dinosaur it replaced.
Price isn't too bad, I guess...
Fan is quite IMO.

Despite all the problems I've had, it does well for everything short of the most demanding games. My main game is Flight Simulator X, which it runs quite well. If I max out all settings, frame rates drop to >20 (paired with 955BE). However, one notch below maxed settings yeilds 75+ FPS.

Cons: Oh where do I begin?...
-CD Driver installed improperly. The card worked but I got error messages after booting. Driver update fixed it.
-If you plan to use the HDMI Port, you will have to use some sort of a little jumper wire. I'm not sure what it does or how it works, I will return and report when I do!
-Video/graphics thus far have been flawless; however, I have noticed a lot of pixilation when viewing high-res pictures. I updated the driver and it got better, but still not great.
-HEAT! I have a cheap case that doesn't vent well, I have seen temps as high as 57C. I removed the cover from my case and pointed a fan at it, and the GPU temp dropped to 39C. If you don't have a well ventilated case, be warned! As I write this, my GPU is essentially idle, and it's at 47C.

Other Thoughts: Don't expect great FPS from crysis. I think this card is probably over priced, and I could have gotten more for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent card-best i owned so far

Pros: great card, good value

Cons: takes up two spots, covering up at least PCI-ex port

Other Thoughts: works as expected, wish the form factor was a smaller, fan can be concern, but it is hard to find fanless cards for this price.

2 out of 5 eggsdid not work

Pros: arrived quickly, RMA'd right away by newegg and they waived restocking fee.

Cons: dvi port did not work, almost fried 2 linux boxes, could only get it to work in very basic mode without acceleration or 3D under linux, although it is supposed to be perfectly compatible with OpenSUSE11.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card

Pros: I purchased this card to improve the graphics on my Dell Dimension 530 with Windows Vista 64 bit. I do online gaming, mostly Nascar 2003. The clarity and frame rates are killer. I maxed out every graphic detail the game had to offer and the card performed flawlessly. I would highly recommend this card. I have always been partial to MSI and Nvidia. As far as I’m concerned, this card is a home run.

Cons: Non so far.

Other Thoughts: Wasn't a problem for me but it the card takes up the pci express and another pci slot. As stated before, the card is somewhat long so make sure you have the room for this installation.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for price

Pros: Great card. My old one was a 256 MB 7600GS, so this was a major upgrade. I can finally say I've run Crysis on "Very High" settings with no lag.

Cons: I don't like the fan, but I don't have any problems with it unless it ends up breaking one day.

4 out of 5 eggsPictures Unreliable

Pros: Awesome card for the money. SLI capable and Discount if 2 are ordered.

Cons: Takes up 2 expansions slots in a case as opposed to one like the pictures would lead you to believe. Yes it has a large fan but not two expansion slots like some higher end cards or many BFG video cards.

Other Thoughts: Only 7 Expansion slots in my case with a fairly tight fit and only one pci slot on my motherboard. I'd Be able to use it if this card didn't block the expansion slot it uses. If you're tight on space like me get the 9800 GT by PNY or BFG instead they take up minimal space and don't require a PCIe power hookup (like this one) but I know they are both single slot from PNY and BFGs website. My friend has a BFG 9800 GT. It's small, powerful and SLI capable too.
They cost a bit more but both companies have rebates for them so the end cost is about the same.
