5 out of 5 eggs5 years later...

Pros: I have had this card for about 5 years now, and while this review is now essentially useless, I feel that I should at least give a shout out for this product. I still can run every single game on max settings with 50+fps. If that's not amazing, I dont know what is.

Cons: Zero.

5 out of 5 eggsBest money can buy. For now..

Pros: Wonderful performance gains on most of the current games. Easily puts all other cards to shame and somewhat cheaper than most of the other Gtx295 brands on the market.

Cons: Still not that cheap!! Temps go up easily if your case doesn't have enough cooling. Needs a lot of power and case space.

Other Thoughts: I put two of these babies in my system in SLI and running Crysis and Crysis Warhead at 2560x1600 resolution on a 30" LG monitor comfortably at max settings(except for AA which is set to 2x). It is truly a sight to behold. Get it if you want absolutely the best performance out of your games right now or wait until the price drops in a few months.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cards

Pros: Bought three of these, 2 in SLI and 1 for Phys-X and it works beautifully for Crysis and Flight Sim and any other game you throw at it.

Cons: MSI's software as usual isn't very compatible with Vista and Win 7, so I've just used Riva Tuner for fan adjustments etc. Obviously it's expensive compared to lesser performance cards, but it's worth it. Cards run pretty hot, but this is onlu temporary until I watercool them.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a case large enough. I have a Thermaltake Armor series and it fits just right but even then, wire routing is difficult with the size of the cards.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card!

Pros: Super fast! Dual processor design!

Cons: This is a big card! It ALMOST obstructs my SATA ports. Half an inch more and i'd have to use a different case. I like to think of it as "snug". lol

Other Thoughts: This card runs everything I have thrown at it flawlessly. Crysis: 60+fps, Dawn Of War II: 60+fps, City of Heroes 60+fps! All those at 1680x1050. I'm getting a 1900x1200 monitor next week though, so i'll revisit this after testing at higher resolutions.

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless

Pros: Very smooth looking graphics on every single game I've played. Doesn't run hot at all for me.

Cons: It's expensive. I didn't take an egg away for this because I obviously knew that ahead of time. Also, this card is a beast. It's very long and can make running cables inside of your case a not so pretty adventure.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you know the dimensions of the case you are putting this into. Even my antec 1200 was difficult to house this without running cables over top of it.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome card!

Pros: I upgraded from the XFXblackedition overclock GTX 260.
made a huge difference, my 3dmark06 score went from 20k to 25k. price was a little steep but with the discount it wasn't to bad.

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: didn't get the free game they advertised :-( but I have always had awesome service! out of over 50 purchased, had one bad memory chip, and new egg took care of me, shipping has always been 3 days or less!! NEW EGG IS THE GREATEST!!!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Destroys my old 8800GT SLI by alot. I know EVGA is a great company (Would of got personally) but with such a great deal for the best card out atm you cant beat it. Actually alot of 295s are dropping in price right now but still an amazing card!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Huge card so make sure you have space. Also make sure your case has good air flow. If you dont mind the noise you can always turn up the fan speed to reduce temperature as well.

4 out of 5 eggsreference single pcb design

Pros: fastest single card (not single gpu) available right now. this is the newer gtx295 with the two gpus on one board.

Cons: reference design, nothing really special about it, pretty much every other single pcb gtx 295 will be the same. card is LONG (not MSI's fault). hard to tell how long it is based on the picture, but it is shockingly long

Other Thoughts: if your board can't sli and you need performance at ridiculously large resolutions, then this is the card to get.
