5 out of 5 eggsGreat video cards for the money.

Pros: Purchased two of these. Run them in CrossfireX. Amazing for the price. I run most games anywhere from 100-180FPS. Definally recommended.

Cons: none.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Intro Card for GPGPU

Pros: Fast card. You can't beat the price for the performance. ATI's Stream SDK is pretty nice with good OpenCL support.

Cons: 1. Limited support on Linux. I had to bastardize my Fedora 12 installation to get the Catalyst 10.2 drivers to work. In this configuration, the system hangs on occasion when doing OpenCL development.
2. I did a lot of research but didn't discover this until after I bought the card: it doesn't support double floats. For that you have to buy the 5870.

Other Thoughts: This is a great card for getting your feet wet with GPGPU and OpenCL programming. However, it would be nice if ATI made it easier to determine the feature sets for people looking to buy their products for this purpose.

It seems like it will be a very long time before Linux will have native OpenCL support for its open source drivers. If you are using this card for OpenCL, you probably want to stick with RHEL or SLES.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Very nice card. Just installed one in a friend's new computer. It's not too big, compared to larger cards like the 5870. Was glad to see it only uses one 6-pin connector. Will run most games out now on high settings. Price is awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsGood So Far!

Pros: Seems pretty impressive to me so far. I bought this for my father's computer(early b-day gift plus a new mobo). Really nice factory clock speeds @ 865 on the core and 1200 on the memory. I was a little upset since I have an xfx 5970 BE in my pc and this thing performs so well, but after doing some benching it's not on the same level as the 5970(probably due to the memory being 128bit which i'm sure kept the cost down). Either way this is a solid performing card for a gamer on a budget. I wish i were on a budget when i got my 5970, but I am way more into gaming than my father is so this was a perfect fit for him. It performs better than the 4850x2 I had given before(which by the way one of the 2 fans died on after only maybe 8 months).Cleared all of the old drivers out with the ATI install manager and Driver Cleaner Pro, Downloaded the 10.2 cats from ATI's site and it's running with no artifacts so I'm am very happy. This card gave me no trouble at all compared to my 5970.

Cons: None yet. Will update in a month or two!

Other Thoughts: Great price for such a solid card. Compared to the 300 i spent on that 4850x2(in the trash after multiple atempts to fix the fan) this 5770 seems to be top notch so far. For only 165 it will play Crysis Warhead at reasonably high settings at decent frame rates. It's not a 5970, but it's like 1/5 the price of it too lol. I couldn't be happier and I know my father is pleased(which is all that matters anyway)

5 out of 5 eggsfor the doe not bad at all

Pros: nice low profile gaming mobo for the kids gaming PC, it's cheap small easy to install, good over all solid support of DDR3, the Quad Core fly's with this system, If your not into knocking up for the i3,i5,i7 chip set yet, this is a good mobo for a media server, or kids pc, or a mini gamming pc, don't expect to much of a push but there are other MSI bord out there for that, *coff coff (MSI's new sexy 890GXM-G65) coff*

Cons: just don't use O*Z Gold Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM, one chip was DOA, I learned my lesson, their DDR2 products are good as well, but DDR3? seems to me someone needs to rework their contract with who they get their chips from,

but none with the mobo

Other Thoughts: newegg is alwasy good with what you need, just don't order anything on a Friday morning expecting it over night it won't show up until figging Monday, I could had kept my money. but over all I am happy

5 out of 5 eggsGood card bro

Pros: I upgraded from an 8600gt, it was a total garbage. I needed an upgrade badly.
This card can play all my games quite well, Modern Warfare 2 never goes below 40 fps. Keep in mind I have V-sync on, so I don't get the max fps that I could. This card also looked quite cool.
STALKER SOC was above 70 fps maxed out.
Left 4 Dead 2 played great too, my old 8600gt did not play this game good at all.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mid-range graphics

Pros: Its hard to say anything bad about this thing, considering my previous card was an X800GTO 256mb...

However, this thing SCREAMS!! Finally playing all of my favorite games (HL2, Doom 3, Warsow, C&C3, CitiesXL, L4D2 and others) completely cranked to the gills.

What's better, is with DX10/11 support that I've never had before, I can finally start playing some newer titles and looking at other reviews out there, I know that it can take the heat!

Cons: Its not a 5970 and I only have one? That's about all I can think of...hehe...

Was frustrated that Newegg took 4 days to process the order, which prolonged my suffering of excitment, but that's nothing wrong with the card :)

Other Thoughts: Mobo: MSI K9A2-CF (also purchased for an overall upgrade from an Abit NF-M2S)
CPU: AMD 4200+ 2.2ghz (Liquid cooled)
RAM: USModular Cold Fusion (800mhz, 4-4-4-12)

Very awesome upgrade!
