1 out of 5 eggsWait... FAIL

Pros: So the pro's stay from my previous review... however.. the cons... well

Cons: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CARD IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CROSSFIRE/. the cards that are sent from newegg, not only do not come with bridges... they aren't the same Dies on the boards. they dont physically HAVE the Crossfire slots... the board shown here is NOT what you get when new egg sends it to you... i now have two of these. with nothing i can do with them. and support told me they would send me a bridge if it was under $10. So good of them to listen. Newegg your dropping the ball...

Other Thoughts: NewEgg Failed. good card if you need one.

4 out of 5 eggsSo nice i bought it twice... `

Pros: So far so good. Had previously been using an nvidia 8800GTS over-clocked, and this little bird blows it right out of the water. Games run smoother, and more effortlessly. GIMP and Final Cut Pro both reneder much faster... Cold and quiet.

Cons: Port configuration is a little odd... HDMI... DVI-I... and Display port.. just a little odd. had to make and convert a bunch of different cables to get three monitors working.. but such is...

on the first MoBo i installed it on it would constantly overload and freeze out anytime 3D applications were used. Either wait for the 'driver saver' or what ever it is called to reboot the GPU and drivers, or just hard reset... Could have been either the PSU or the MoBo PCI buss. whether way, on a newer MoBo it works beautifully.

Other Thoughts: Great card for a budget.

I liked it enough to purchase a second one and crossfire it... so ill repost any updates with that project.

3 out of 5 eggsPower Hungry?

Pros: I bought it Open Box, so price was good (around $80). The thing weighs 3 pounds because of the massive heatsink on it, but it runs super cold. I used the Kombuster program that comes with it for about 8 hours overnight and it never got over 50c. With the Afterburner program that also comes with it, you can control the fan speed and make it run even cooler.

Cons: I use to use an overclocked 8600GT, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130085

but it wasn't cutting it on newer games, so i upgraded to this card thinking it would blow my old one out of the water. After trying it out on a few games, I wasn't really that impressed. Also, my games would freeze up and then Windows would freeze up a couple seconds after that, causing me to hard reboot the PC. After much research, I'm sure its my cheap 450W PSU thats causing the freezes. Which may also explain the lackluster performance.

Other Thoughts: After i upgrade my PSU, I'll update how its running, but for now the fps aren't that impressive. I went from an OCed 8600GT running 700/910 {32 stream processors}with 256 MB of DDR3, to this card with 775/1010 {400 stream processors} with 1GB of DDR5, and I'm not happy so far. I wanted to post this just in case anyone else is having freezing issues, and let them know its not just their card doing it.

My Rig so far:
Case: NZXT Tempest EVO
Mobo: Biostar 880G+
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 820 (OC 3.2 Ghz)
RAM: 4GB DDR3 - 1333
Cooler: Hyper 212+
GPU: MSI R5670 Cyclone 1G

5 out of 5 eggsProblem solved

Pros: Excellent customer service from Newegg

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This item was not as my client expected but Newegg customer service went way out of their way to correct problem. Even thought item was not as expected and had to be returned my client will be purchasing another item this week. No eggs removed due to the great customer service. Thank you Newegg

2 out of 5 eggsGreat, but not.

Pros: Card worked great for gaming with all the GFX turned to the max.

Cons: Card stopped working after 3-4 weeks. Just went to turn on my PC one night and nothing but darkness.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor HDMI performance

Pros: Good DVD performance and gaming video. Low power, doesn't need external power connection.

Cons: Quite poor Blu-Ray video performance, very grainy in low light scenes. Swapped with a GeForce9800 in the same system and everything looked fine. Tried new drivers, nothing helped.

Other Thoughts: This isn't a high performer for games, bought it for Blu-Ray, that didn't work either, just a poor card.

5 out of 5 eggsVery sweet

Pros: This card is way overkill for a media center but also very quite.
I beneched it and it about par with my aging 9800gt. not bad for the card. Audio sound great.

Cons: pricy for the chip you get.

Other Thoughts: MSI support is terrible, I hope the card will not fail.

5 out of 5 eggsDam nice little monster

Pros: -Card is silent
-Running dead cold with low fan speed
-Play most of my game decent at 1050 res and some other really good
-Bundeled software ( MSI afterburner ) are nice and easy to use
-Price is forsure a pros
-Small card fit in low end system

Cons: Only have 1 DVI port and no HDMI to DVI or Display port to DVI are bundled with. Not a big issue but it can be for some people.
No french in the installation guide?? Some people may find it a bit hard but well, not a issue also.

Other Thoughts: I, for sure recommend this card. For the price the performance ratio is very nice and she can also do a sweet and powerfull HTPC card since she is NOT NOISY! Look tiny im my ATCS 840 to replace my GTX260 but she perform like a little monster:) Really happy!

4 out of 5 eggsO_O

Pros: Very good card, handles high tasking well.

Cons: Will sometimes get a glitch in it and freeze the screen.
Sucks but you deal.

Could be something else doing it but only started when I got this.
