2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked ok as long as it lasted.

Cons: I had one I did RMA on out of a pair. Now one of the other has gone bad and starting to have problems with last one. Even at $30 not worth the hassle.

4 out of 5 eggsWorking So Far

Pros: Good price-point for the features & quality. Appeared to be a solid card.

Cons: Not a terrible big one:
My screen doesn't __ompletely__ refresh after exiting xscreensaver. However, this is most likely due to the linux X11 drivers, rather than the card.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace an old GeForce whose integrated fan had died, causing the GPU to start frying itself.

I own a linux box, so I was looking for another GeForce card similar to the dying one., something that would be just as compatible with the X11 drivers as the old one. I wasn't looking for any sort of massive-upgrade, just a more modern equivalent to the old one.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice upgrade for an older slimline PC

Pros: - Low price (esp. w/ MIR)
- Low profile fits into an old HP Pavilion Slimline s3000 perfectly
- Only draws 31 W @ full load so it plays nice with the Slimline's limited 160 W power supply

Cons: Fan is a bit loud

Other Thoughts: Wanted one of the least expensive ways to repurpose an old bone stock HP Slimline and get it running Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr (which it couldn't do before with its integrated graphics) and this video card does the job perfectly with no other upgrades necessary

2 out of 5 eggsMSI N210-MD1G/D3 GeForce 210

Pros: Price, Free shipping, Rebate

Cons: Not a fault of NewEgg but Received DOA Had to RMA

Other Thoughts: MSI should test these cards before shipping to dealers

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
Based on the symptom you reported, we suggest you checking following steps below since many reasons can cause the situation like this ,
1. Check and make sure that power are connected correctly and firmly (JPWR1 and JPRW2).
2. Check your other major hardware’s (memory, video card, CPU and power supply) to ensure that they are not the cause of the issue.
3. If possible verfiy our MSi video card on another working system, or another working video card on your board to verify.
4. If you need further assistant, please feel free to contact our technical support department directly at 626.271.1004 from M to F, 6am to 6pm Pacific standard Time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card to add additional monitors or tv to your system

Pros: - Cheap Price
- HDMI Supported
- Low Profile Bracket Included (I didn't use it but it is nice to have)

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This video card was purchased because a client requested that she wanted to connect her computer to her television so you could watch and listen to her files from her computer. I installed the card easily and used the included CD to install needed drivers and software. Within 15 minutes she was up and running on her 50" TV.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for SFF Dell

Pros: If you need HDMI or multi-monitor on a Dell SFF, this is the card to buy. Brackets included. Zero problems to install, fits perfect. The ribbon cable is just long enough to put VGA in front of or behind the video card itself. Can't hear it. I also put one of these in an HP mid tower without issue and can't hear it either. I'm using them for mostly HTPC functions, no gaming.

Cons: No driver disc, but not a problem for me to download and install drivers from the website.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks without problem, quiet

Pros: Low cost and works without problems. Some reviews had me concerned that it was going to be noisy, however, it's nice and quiet.

Cons: None really--the rebate process does seem as if they hope you won't go to the trouble.

Other Thoughts: I'd been worried about noise from some of the other reviews, however, the fan on the card is quiet. I just needed an adequate card to replace one that had died, and chose NVidia because it's easy to get it working with Linux and FreeBSD.
The rebate process was almost comical. First one has to go to a pdf form. They list a website, but it's not a clickable link, at least in two browser on Linux, one has to actually type in the complete link. (As it's a PDF, I wasn't able to copy and past the link either. Then, you fill out a form, make sure to include the label that has the serial number and UPC code (so be careful putting it off the box. You are told that for a dollar, you can get said rebate within 5-7 days of approval, or wait 8-10 weeks. As we're talking $10.00, I chose the latter, since the involved process of applying for the rebate makes me wonder if they're going to take the dollar, then give some reason the rebate won't be honored.

As for the card itself, for a low priced video card it's fine. I can watch movies (I'm not a gamer), and it handles that without any issues. I'm quite happy with it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product especially for price

Pros: excellent for the price, fits very well in my dell OptiPlex GX280, which is a low profile computer. The main reason why I bought this card is that it came with the bracket that is intended to fit this card, no generic fit adapter here, this one fits well. The final pro and another reason why bought this one is there is a cooling fan on it, as seeing my computer has low volume of air movement (as most low profile computers do) I felt that would help it from overheat.

Cons: went to install all the updates to make my drivers current, and it made my computer run very very slow. I uninstalled the drivers and put it back to original drivers and its fine. Might be my system though its older. While originally running XP, it has been upgraded to windows 7 ultimate. And it needs a ram upgrade only running 2gb, I have found windows 7 is much happier with 4gb. So its probably my older system that caused issue just something to keep in mind.

Other Thoughts: I would buy this card again if needed for another system. It has made game play possible as seeing nobody makes a windows 7 driver for my motherboards built in graphics card. so the install of this card enabled the 3D graphics and has allowed me to run my games again.
