5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong,

Pros: albeit not enough for most new games these days, this card has been reliable!

Cons: cant really hold its own in modern games of 2013/2014, but it still serves a purpose in a mediacenter!

Other Thoughts: I would buy it again if it were still 2011.

1 out of 5 eggsSpotty

Pros: might look nice in a red themed case

Cons: I got this card refurbished, however the testing must not of been extensive because any time I got the card over 25% usage it would disconnect and then reconnect. I then replaced it with the 450 gts cyclone also from msi and I worked perfectly.

1 out of 5 eggsInexplicably died with horrible RMA service

Pros: We used this card to run a church media system (to run lyrics, video, images) every Sunday. It worked well enough while it worked.

Cons: This card, inexplicably, after a year of use. One day it was working, the next day our motherboard was giving us a Long-Short-Short beep alert that notified us that the card was not working. I put in a different card in the same slot and it worked just fine. The card has a 3 year warranty, which is good. However... MSI's warranty service is horrible. Every time I call, I wait on hold for 15 minutes then get disconnected. I had to do a self-guided warrantee service on their website. But when I sent it in, they never found it. After an email to their RMA department, they finally "received" it. It supposed to be 5-10 days warrantee service... but they've had it 13 days and I haven't even seen an update yet on the status of my RMA. The card has been gone for 3 weeks now and I still haven't seen any progress.

Other Thoughts: This card is discontinued now... so I don't know how many people will see this. But, I'm very frustrated at MSI for being utterly inaccessible. I bought this card because I thought MSI was a reliable brand. I was wrong.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: powerful card runs almost all current games at high settings

Cons: fan is slightly noisy, and the vent for the fan plugs rather quickly

Other Thoughts: for anyone have issues with windows startup freezing when installing new drivers do not install hd audio driver. After RMAing one card which might have been fine . My new card was working fine till those drivers were installed in the 280.26 drivers. If that doesn't solve the problem I suggest RMA. They did an awesome job with me they were fast and courteous.

1 out of 5 eggsN450GTS dead

Pros: I always like NVIDIA. This is a shorter card so I had no trouble getting it into my case. Ran great for 6 months.

Cons: Video started to shut off periodically. Spent a lot of time cussing at my computer for nothing, it was my new video card. Finally it would flicker off and on, then that was that. Never overclocked it either.

Other Thoughts: I have a lot of MSI components, normally I have good luck with them. This time my luck failed.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Card

Pros: Was ok when it worked.

Cons: First one lasted about 4 months, took weeks to get the replacement, it lasted a few days. Card runs way to hot memory errors, restarts, black screens, driver corrupt, you name it. MSI has lost me as a customer.

Other Thoughts: Never again.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: fast, affordable, it is Nvidia. Drivers are stable. Sli ready
runs Unigen heaven maxed out 1900/1280 at about 33 fps average, single card for a buck.

Cons: 128 bit, 1 Gb ram, Hdmi Mini port is very hard to access. it sits very close to the edge of the card and the cord does not fit. Rather frustrating.

Other Thoughts: Good card for the price. plan to get another one sometime.

Running full MSI setup on Mobo and Gpu.
System runs very fast and well.
Have not found a game that it cant run at max graphics yet with fair frame rates. very powerful $100 dollar card

1 out of 5 eggsWorked

Pros: Pros: It was cheap, a good upgrade from my previous computer GPU and played the games I was playing.

Cons: Sadly it just recently started getting artifacts and causing crashes whenever it was used in my SLI setup. I have isolated it to this card (My other is a 450GTS cyclone) and my system works great when this card is disabled...otherwise I crash

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't advise buying this card now purely because its fairly old. I would STRONGLY advise if this was in your price range that you buy the 450GTS Cyclone. It runs MUCH cooler and overall was much better than this one. Otherwise I would not recommend this card for gaming purely for its age.
