The MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk is equipped with the latest Twin Frozr III dual fan cooling design, featuring MSI's exclusive Propeller Blade technology that delivers 20% more airflow than conventional fans. The 8+1 phase PWM design doubles the power for GPU, which, combined with Triple Overvoltage technology, further improves the overclocking potential of the N560GTX-Ti Hawk. The Military Class II components provide the highest level of stability and quality. With its raw cooling, high overclocking potential and superior stability, the N560GTX-Ti Hawk stands out on top among the industry's GeForce GTX 560 Ti based graphics cards.

  • newegg Exclusive Twin Frozr III Thermal Design with Propeller Blade Technology The MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk features the advanced Twin Frozr III cooling solution. MSI's exclusive Propeller Blade technology delivers 20% more airflow compared to conventional fans, while the air channels on the fan blades expand the airflow area to carry away more heat from graphics card components. When coupled with dual 8cm PWM fans, super heat pipe technology and nickel-plated copper base, the result is a more efficient thermal dissipation solution, allowing the Twin Frozr III to achieve a staggering 17 degrees of temperature reduction versus the reference cooling design.
  • newegg Improved Power Supply and Triple Overvoltage To provide users with the best overclocking performance, the N560GTX-Ti Hawk features an 8+1 phase PWM design. This boost improves overclocking stability by doubling the current output of the reference 4+1 phase design. MSI's proprietary Afterburner overclocking utility allows control over GPU/Memory/PLL voltages for unleashing the full overclocking potential of the N560GTX-Ti Hawk!
  • newegg Military Class II Components MSI uses Military Class II components in the N560GTX-Ti Hawk graphics card, such as Hi-c CAP, which are of the same class of components used in space shuttles and satellites and offer a lifespan 8 times longer than ordinary solid-state capacitors. Moreover, Super Ferrite Chokes (SFC) are employed to not only improve efficiency by 10%, but also increase the maximum output current by 30%, and when coupled with All-Solid capacitors, the product's overall lifespan can be effectively extended.
  • newegg Microsoft DirectX 11 Support DirectX 11 GPU with Shader Model 5.0 support designed for ultra high performance in the new API’s key graphics feature, GPU-accelerated tessellation.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology enables a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision, 3D Vision Surround and SLI Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. Expand your games across three displays in full stereoscopic 3D for the ultimate “inside the game” experience with the power of NVIDIA 3D Vision and SLI technologies. NVIDIA Surround also supports triple screen gaming with non-stereo displays.

1 out of 5 eggsTDRs all the time, Many many people experience this.

Pros: Compared to previous cards I've had, no pros except that it's SLI capable.

Cons: Timeout detection and recovery (TDR) errors are absolutely rampant with this card. Not just with gamers, but also simply from browsing the internet. Don't waste your money, statistics show that you're likely to get the error as well. And it's not just MSI. It's EVERY brand of this junky GPU.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We are not aware of any TDR issues with this product.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: This card is very fast and is clocked very high comparing to the reference designs. I have the fan speed at 50% in MSI Afterburner and it usually goes to 66C at load. Many people have complaints about how hot the card gets. Yesterday, the memory temperature was extremely high (73C idle and it went up to 101C at load) but, the GPU temperature and VRM temperature stood at 30 idle and about 60 load. When I turned on my computer this morning, the memory temperature was normal again. I don't understand, but it has to be due to faulty sensors. Nothing big. As I'm writing this review I'm getting 29C idle and I have a Rosewill Challenger case that's full of cables. This card performs very good.

Cons: I got kind of scared when the memory temperature wouldn't go down below 70C even if it was on idle the whole day. But it seems to be a problem in the program, when I restarted, it was back to 30C.

Other Thoughts: This card is great and it performs better than the reference because it's clocked so high out of the box. The reference 560 Ti usually performs a bit below the 6950, but with this card, it performs higher than the 6950. If the 565 Ti existed, this will be it, along with Zotac's 560 Ti AMP! Edition.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card for the price!

Pros: Excellent craftsmanship
Feels very sturdy in hands unlike some gimmicky ones
Performs superbly
Crystal clear graphics
Becomes a beast if SLI'd

Cons: Can be loud at times but with headphones on barely noticeable
When running games with high density (skyrim) fans will run harder than normal

Other Thoughts: I really liked this card and can't wait to see what NVIDIA comes out with for the next series. For the price it is the best you will get

2 out of 5 eggsGreat performance, but runs hot

Pros: Runs intensive games like Batman: Arkham City on high settings (low PhysX, but you can't have everything). Also looks pretty cool.

Cons: I ran Unigine, a benchmarking program. Most of the settings were on high (though anti-aliasing was off). It pulled ~120 FPS, but the temperature was 100 degrees Celsius for almost the whole test. Airflow in my case is unrestricted; my case temperature is chilly, as is my CPU under stress tests. Will probably be returning this soon; I suspect a faulty cooler or something like that.

1 out of 5 eggsFollow up to previous review

Pros: Well.. The first card worked for a week or 2..

Cons: Wow where to start.. I have now got a RMA returned card. The returned card has an OBVIOUS physical defect, warped PCB, and a test shows no thermal bonding with the heat sink and heat spreaders. As soon as a 3D test is run, driver crashes after 2 seconds and the GPU temp hits 70C!

Even better is MSI Canada does not have a working phone system, I can not contact them via email (bounces), or via online support, and MSI USA will not help me. I am really choked at the last of support, and the lack of an ability to contact an actual person to resolve this issue.

If I was an American customer I would at least have recourse! Newegg should not sell any MSI products to Canadian customers in my opinion until they have a viable support option.

Other Thoughts: Not impressed at all by the customer service.

1 out of 5 eggsHot crashes

Pros: Good card for the price

Cons: It has crashed since probably day 5. Runs HOT. Artifacts with driver crashing and sometimes recovering, and other times comp resets itself. If I get another card it wont be to SLI this one, will have to get 2 more different cards.

1 out of 5 eggsDowngrade

Pros: performance in games

Cons: Is Running EXTREMELY HOT!!! hitting 87+C at full load. Ambient Air temperature of 70F. As stated previously I have FIVE 120mm or larger fans moving air through this case. My CPU (quad 955) is running at 56-7C never have seen it go above that even with the extra heat being generated by the video card. Getting ready to contact MSI support for a second time. VERY DISAPPOINTING for the money spent to be having these issues after having already RMA'd the card for temp issues once.

Other Thoughts: I have been a long time user of MSI main boards and video cards but this is starting to make me think I should try another brand. This is an update to my 3 egg rating from 8/1/2012.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Are you having any artifacts or crashes?
This temperature range is perfectly normal, it is within the allowed thermal limit by nVidia.
If you are looking to cool the GPU more, then perhaps custom watercooling is a better solution for you.

5 out of 5 eggsWooHoo!!

Pros: - Speed
- Clock/Memory/Voltage controls
- Ease of Over-clocking

Cons: - Not really a con, just a reality, but will run Hot unless vented.

Other Thoughts: I stuffed this into a Shuttle SA76R4 case (it will fit) as HTPC and this puppy chews up anything I throw at it! Stupendous Bang for the Buck over the higher priced 6 series...this is the way to go today and for some time to come...
initially Idled at 40C in the case due to poor ventilation, but after cutting portals aligned with the fans (nicely terminated with mesh and C-Channel) it is steadily idling at 26C and has not gone over 62 during gaming.
Adjusted the fan profile with afterburner and even when they kick in, it is a VERY low hum and not a Whoosh or Whine!!

HTPC System Config: Shuttle SA76R4 CASE / MSI 560TI Hawk Twin Frozr 3 / AMD 945 Quad Core PROC / 8GB Patriot G-Series 1600 MHZ memory / 1.5 TB WD Hard Drive

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Customer Service

Pros: Card worked well while working.

Cons: Card started to display artifacts after 2 months of service. RMA'ed the card. Process took 2 weeks before I received a replacement. The replacement would spike to 98 degrees with any load put on it. Even dramatically UNDERclocked it would still reach 98 degrees. MSI agreed to RMA this card as well. Its been 2 weeks and a replacement still hasn't shipped. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was transferred back to the automated system. When I called back I received the same rep. He then told me the supervisor was on vacation and there were no supervisors working this week.

Other Thoughts: I understand that components can be faulty from time to time. However, to be without the card for over a month when I only bought it 3 months ago is not acceptable.

If a company can't provide better service than this then they won't be getting any repeat business from me.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

3 out of 5 eggsGreat performance...

Pros: I love the in game performance. Plays SWTOR and CoH at max settings with no difficulty. I can spin so fast I get dizzy.

Cons: It was running at 100C + so I RMA'd it with MSI. It is now maxing out at about 85C after they returned it. Still seems rather high to me in a case with 5 120mm or better fans.

Other Thoughts: Also seeing some issues with graphics artifacts using the 310 whql nvidia drivers.
