MSI’s N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC graphics card is not only equipped with the latest Twin Frozr III dual fan cooler, it also incorporates MSI's exclusive Propeller Blade technology for 20% more airflow than conventional fan blade designs. The result is up to 18°C cooler and 7.7dB quieter than the reference thermal solution under full load. The popular PCB architecture from the R6950 Twin Frozr III Power Edition has been retained as well, with Triple Over-Voltage support and a 6+1 phase power delivery system that ensures overclocking potential and stability, increasing the overclocking potential by 22% compared with the reference card! By meeting PC gamers’ needs for increased cooling efficiency, improved overclocking potential, and constant stability, the N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC is undoubtedly the one of the best GTX 570 graphics cards available on the market today.

  • newegg Exclusive Twin Frozr III Thermal Design with Propeller Blade Technology The MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC is equipped with the latest Twin Frozr III dual fan thermal solution and MSI-exclusive Propeller Blade technology that features air channels on the edge of the blades to expand total airflow by up to 20%. The twin 8cm PWM fans, heat pipe technology, large surface-area nickel-plated copper base and high fin density all serve to rapidly draw excess heat away from the graphics card. Under full load, the GPU runs 18°C cooler than the reference design, and noise emission is reduced by 7.7dB—validating the superior cooling performance and silent running advantages of the Twin Frozr III.
  • newegg Triple Over-voltage and 6+1 Phase Power System Supporting triple over-voltage function, the MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC graphic card enables you to easily adjust the voltage of the GPU, memory and PLL for more overclocking potential using the MSI-exclusive Afterburner utility. Additionally, a more robust, 6+1 phase power system delivers 40% more power than the reference design to enhance OC stability at high loads.
  • newegg Performance/Silent Modes MSI-exclusive P/S Switch function on the N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC was developed with two fan speed profiles: Performance Mode and Silent Mode. The former emphasizes an enhanced cooling power that can significantly reduce GPU temperature to keep the graphic card at the optimal working condition, while the latter stresses on quiet operations for users to keep noise minimal while playing games or watching a movie. As both modes deliver excellent cooling performance, even the pickiest power users can always keep the environment under control according to their needs.
  • newegg Quality Advancement: Military Class II Materials MSI Military Class II components include the Hi-C tantalum caps with lifespan 8 times longer than solid caps, the SFC high-performance choke which supplies 30% more power, and the all solid caps with a lifespan up to 10 years. With such components, the quality and stability of graphic cards are maximized.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology enables a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision, 3D Vision Surround and SLI Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. Expand your games across three displays in full stereoscopic 3D for the ultimate “inside the game” experience with the power of NVIDIA 3D Vision and SLI technologies. 4 out of 5 eggsMSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III

Pros: NEWEGG Order #81546319
Submitted: 12/10/2011 08:26 PM
Customer PO: MSI N570GTX III

Since the day I got this I have been very happy to run this Video card on my daily driver

Cons: It just went upside down and is artifacting red lines all over the display.
I can't even get it work to click on the pixels to download a tool to update the bios from MSI.

Other Thoughts: It worked fine the day before on my daily driver and the next morning it just was acting Corrupted.
Swapped it to another machine to see if the gripe followed the module and it did.
Had to use a Gigabyte GTS450 GV N450OC 1G1 to continue working.
I ran this stock, never Oc'ing my card for the daily driver.

1 out of 5 eggsDiscontinued

Pros: Great speeds and stability.

Cons: Only supports 2 video output devices.

After having this card for just one year, I decided to order a second unit to find it is Discontinued by the manufacturer. This is extremely disappointing and I will never buy another MSI product again as I will have to now go and spend another $500.00+ on a newer card so I can run 3 video devices.
I recommend nobody to buy one of these makes of card unless you are going to buy 2 from the get go because the chances of it being available in just over a year is slim to none.

Other Thoughts: If this card was still available I would have gladly rated it with a 5 egg.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's fast, quiet, does the job, and nVidia's Linux drivers 'Just Work'

Cons: Price?

Other Thoughts: I saved up for this after one too many times having to type amdcccle at the root prompt - only to have Catalyst misbehave, and haven't had such issues since. Today, I'd likely go with a GTX 660.

5 out of 5 eggsGiant

Pros: Runs great. I can max out graphics settings on most games with few noticeable drops in performance.

Cons: Be aware of the dimensions of the card. It was very close to being too big to use in my case, and does get in the way of the hard drive slots.

1 out of 5 eggsMSI is terrible. All around.

Pros: The price tag on this overpriced, overweight, piece of "Military Grade" junk is a Pro for MSI. They get money we get cards that fail over and over and over. Then you get a company that does not want to help fix the issue.

Cons: Constant crashing on high end games that an old Gateway FX can handle without crashing. Better yet they say its an overheat issue. at 50c? On a "Military Grade" "Frozr" Card with a crazy looking two fan multi pipe cooling system.
Tried to contact them again they are completely ignoring my requests for help now,They got their money what do they care.
Although their heat comment drove me to understand how truly bad their knowledge is I figured I would test this out. I tried many things.
The one way left to turn down the heat, the way MSI suggests, is by dropping the core voltage and such through the provided software. But because they provide junk like MSI Afterburner software you can min/max out the mhZ on the entire card but the voltage is locked and cannot be unlocked without the use of luck or magic as it seems.
Really pathetic support provided throughout the entire troubleshooting process as well. The phone was ridiculous and MSI web support is impossible to access. Their web support site registration and login processes are both completely broken.

Other Thoughts: MSI dropped to the bottom of my list. I expect that when I spend over $300 per video card I will be getting something decent. I guarantee I would have been happier with a cheaper SLI setup. After many year of being a die hard Nvidia fan MSI has driven me to try a Xfire setup. Thats how bad this card and company failed me.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card, better in SLI!

Pros: - Purchased one last August, more than adequate to run the latest games on high/ultra in 1080p.
- Non reference design
- Takes rather aggressive overclocks 900/1800/2120 @ 1.056 core , mem volts stock. Still experimenting, can be pushed even further with a little effort.
- Stays quite cool, difficult to get >60C full load with high ambient temps ( 80F ~ 27C)
- Loved the first one so much I bought another 6 months later for SLI
-Stock settings with SLI gets the job done and then some right now, always have the ability to overclock in the future if necessary

Cons: Not much of any, for those who use custom fan profiles... they can get a little loud past 65%.

Other Thoughts: Use MSI afterburner.
Couldn't be happier with these puppies in SLI.

5 out of 5 eggsGood fast card

Pros: Great solid card running at 53c on load and easily overclockable runs all games at so far at max settings the cooler on it looks and works great they give you everything you need in the box including vga to dvi connector, power connecters, and SLI bridge might get another for SLI when the price drops

Cons: fan can get loud on full but you never need to turn it all the way up keep pretty cool at 50%-60%

4 out of 5 eggsIt's No 670, But It Works

Pros: This card was a compromise purchase thanks to the continuing shortage of the 600 series cards. My build was ill timed and I had to make a decision. Extensive reading convinced me that this card was the way to go, and I have no regrets. It's a slick card that keeps its cool and provides a fantastic graphic experience. It does a great job with Diablo III, and that's all I play on the computer. For regular surfing and day to day use, it screams.

Cons: I paid slightly over $300 during that horrible period when the nVidia 670 series (which was only $75 more) was sold out everywhere, so I think everyone was gouging during that period. Other than that, I've got no complaints.

Other Thoughts: If you can wait, hold out for the 670s. But if you can't or you don't have the extra money, this card will do the trick.
