4 out of 5 eggsGood deal. Worked for over 1 year.

Pros: Low profile.
Great price.
Great design.
HDMI.
Low power consumption.

Simple way to transform a low-profile computer into an HTPC with 3D Blu-Ray and basic gaming capability.

Cons: Worked great for over a year in the HTPC I built for my mother. The fan stopped working and now it overheats and freezes the system shortly after she starts trying to watch TV in Windows Media Center. System has always been clean and has plenty of airflow, so there's no good reason for the fan to die. I have a pending RMA, so we'll see how MSI handles it.

Other Thoughts: Still a good deal. This is the perfect card for my mother's system and I hope the RMA process goes smoothly.

5 out of 5 eggsLil Card That Could

Pros: -Ridiculously Cheap ($20)
-Easy overclocking and temp management with MSI Afterburner program
-Stellar leap over integrated graphics
-runs most games well with decent graphics. Older games run in full resolution and detail.
-Aging gracefully

Cons: -Aging, albeit gracefully

Other Thoughts: Impulse buy when rebate made it $19.99 (which I received quickly and with full amount) a year and a half ago. Had just bought the new Core i5-2500 and was disappointed at the low graphics quality for even simple games (after all the fanfare of how great the new Intel integrated graphics were supposed to be). Popped this in, updated the drivers, and was immediately surprised at the whole new world I was in (virtually). Great card, has been a gaming workhorse, and only recently (gosh darn you WOT 8.0, why did the new physics and graphics have to drop my FPS off a cliff??) is its age starting to show. I'm in the market for a new card now, but had to write this positive review for such a solid little card that could. It has been a great trip!

5 out of 5 eggsdecent gpu

Pros: supports blu ray 3D
requires a low psu (good for people trying to upgrade an older gpu)
Very easy to install
Runs older games fine
Runs diablo 3 on med setting with no lag
Runs WoW on med-high settings with no lag
supports multiple monitors

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: this card is not top of the line so dont expect the best graphics you will get low-med graphics on newer games with no lag.
I gave this gpu 5 eggs because it does what it is meant for and more for what you pay for it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood performance

Pros: This thing has been hitting 72 Celcius at Folding@home work...and does pretty well in games.
Can play most games at a good setting, plays wow nicely...

This card is slow when it comes to rendering or using real-time ray tracing in Autodesk Inventor 2012, or Cycles in Blender...there is CUDA support, but go for a better card...

11 FPS in Heavens 4 Benchy..

Also, it draws low amount of power :), which is AWESOme

Cons: not much cons, except I got this with a rebate.. the card works awesome! at 20 dollars this is a pretty sweet deal :D

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Been doing its job of acting as the PhyX card while allowing for a third monitor out.

Came with the low profile bracket.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The card is going strong after almost a year now. I got it while it was on sale and I got a free hat out of it. My rebate card actually came. I guess the stars are aligned in my favor or something. Better go buy a lotto ticket.

1 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: *It works
*Was cheap (I picked it up for about $25 with a mail-in rebate and a sale)

Cons: *Loud fan
*Hot
*Poor performance

Other Thoughts: It has trouble with Minecraft. There are better budget cards out there. This one sucks.

1 out of 5 eggsMSI Rebate

Pros: Great price with the rebate but, I don't buy items factoring in the rebate. It seems that manufacturers have no intention of honoring any and all rebates. If it says "Mail in Rebate" I pass.

Cons: None

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued MSI Customer,
“Please contact MSI customer service representative Tom at tomh@msi.com, or call Tom at 626-913-0828 ext 216 with your case details so we can check the rebate status. Thank you.”

5 out of 5 eggsGreat VGA Card to replace stock CPU shared Mainboard Graphics

Pros: Easy bracket change out for low profile
Very good performance to price
Good tools on CD

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I purchased this card to upgrade my sons Dell Optiplex GX620 which is a low profile computer with only a 275w power supply. Although he will never experience the full potential of this card due to the power supply and only being PCIe not PCIe 2.0, after installing and running through the online games he plays at his young age, Cartoon Network, Nick Jr., Lego and Club Penguin it shows a vast improvement in feedback and response over the stock Intel graphics on the Mainboard. Checking the streaming of Netflix movies, loading time and response of just the search screen has improved not to mention playback. The final test for me was the screen saver making the fans inside work really hard with the stock graphics….the screen saver visually now moves faster and a fan hasn’t kicked on yet to be heard. This was definitely and worthwhile investment on a Pentium D machine that will now last him much longer and will most likely be able to be passed down a few more years.
Installing the graphics

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT lil VideoCard!!!!

Pros: I needed a new upgrade on a SlimLine MediaPC that had Intel Shared Video....THIS CARD SOLVED THE PROBLEM!!!! I can now Watch HD Video on the internet, play BluRays, and even play a few newer games on good 1280x768 resolutions (alot of older games no prob)!!!

Cons: dont expect to buy this and play every new game on ultra because it is a 500 series GeForce, it is lower on the lineup pole but DOES ALOT FOR WHAT IT COST!!!

Other Thoughts: Slimeline PC's all need this videocard for a great upgrade if you have PCI-E upgrade slot!!!!!
