5 out of 5 eggsGreat for slimline!

Pros: Worked out the box (Downloaded drivers direct from AMD). Runs cool. 480 stream processors in a small package!

Cons: "Requires" 400w PSU. In a Dell slimline that's not easy to pull off. But it redeems it'self by running on less than 250w with no extra heat generated from PSU.

Other Thoughts: Though you can't run every game with high settings, this is a very reliable upgrade from Intel HD Graphics. This was purchased as a christmas gift for my dad, he's very happy to be able to play his RTS games.

5 out of 5 eggsSpiffy little thing.

Pros: I love MSI's products, and this card is no exception. It's surprisingly powerful, in my computer it runs Vindictus on full graphics at 1080p at a smooth 60fps. I just used the Vision Control Center to overclock it to 675/1000MHz (GPU/Memory) and it stays very cool. Never much warmer than 55C under full load and idles around 40C with its stock cooler. It's also extremely quiet. I -never- hear it, except for when I first turn my computer on and the fans go full blast for a second, and it's still really quiet. xD

This card is very attractive, whisper quiet, and very powerful for the price. Also I think it's the most powerful low profile card that exists right now. o.o

Cons: There are no cons to my knowledge.

Other Thoughts: It's a shame the card has been out of stock for a couple of weeks now. I was going to have my friend buy one for her computer but it was still out of stock. =x C'mon Newegg, this card is awesome and you know it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Great card works well very compact and fairly quite.

Cons: Not very good software for this card was looking for good HQ vid converting and editing and this card doesnt have good fast software to do this (at least couldn't find any) but not taking away an egg cause not the cards fault

Other Thoughts: overall great card or not mega gaming machine would recomend

4 out of 5 eggs....

Pros: Vary good card... Plays BBC2 at med. Plays Minecraft at 120FPS Good card all around.

Cons: I bought a DVI to VGA adapter so that i could have duel monitors but the adapter has pins where the card dose not. So i am mad about that and i cont seem to find one that will work for it.

Other Thoughts: I want duel monitors

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Card at this Pricepoint

Pros: We received the card within three days of ordering and in good condition. Indeed, the huge NewEgg box that it shipped in dwarfed the actual manufacturers box. I slapped the card into an open PCI-E slot, without connecting it directly to the power source, connected the monitor and plugged the computer back in. The card was instantly recognized by my PC, but I went ahead and ran the setup CD to make sure that drivers were up to-date. The setup steps were intuitive and fast. I immediately turned my son loose and he played Team Fortress 2 with all settings maxed, 50-60 FPS and it looked silky smooth. He played StarCraft II with large groups of units on screen in an eight-player game, with settings maxed out at 40-50 FPS. Again gameplay was smooth, no bogging down, and the game looked really great . The card ran cool and without any noticeable noise. It's probably a bit early to tell, but as of right now I am extremely pleased with the performance and value that this card offers.

Cons: The paper documentation enclosed with the card was pretty useless. Fortunately Windows 7 seemed to have no trouble picking up the card and the setup CD was easy. For those with a low-profile PC, be ready to deal with the pain of installing the smaller brackets (you'll need a tiny screwdriver and/or needlenose pliers). The free software gift that is offered with the card doesn't look interesting at all.

Other Thoughts: The deal also includes a $15 mail-in rebate (Visa Gift Card). If I don't actually get the rebate the card is still a very solid value. If we do actually manage to get it, then it's a real home run.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic low profile card!

Pros: This card is a fantastic low profile card! It looks sexy with the MSI cooler on it. It supports my dual monitors which is nice. The best part is that it can run games like Battlefield BC2 on Medium settings at around 30-40 fps. I am also able to play Crysis 2, but the fps is low. Overall this card is great for a little bit of gaming and stays very cool.

Cons: Switching out the tall bracket with the low profile brackets was a pain. I had to use needle nose pliers to get the pin screws unscrewed.

This card is a bit expensive and you are only getting a little boost in FPS from the 5570, but still... this card is great!

Other Thoughts: I would suggest it to anyone looking to buy a low profile video card.

5 out of 5 eggsATI 6570

Pros: This card is quite, has a great overclocking ability thanks to MSI Afterburner, and it's extremely high quality so it will not overheat or burn out. I would recommend the MSI 5670 Low Profile that is really good but requires at least a 300w to 400w PSU.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This card is great but go buy the MSI 5670 for even better performance if you have the PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsLight Gaming Card

Pros: Great Price, Will handle newer games, and attractive cooling.

Cons: Cons? Maybe just could make some higher end low profile cards, otherwise no cons yet.

Other Thoughts: This card seems to run as fast as the original nVidia 9600 GT cards, plus it handles dx11, and finally branded by AMD. Have this card installed in a socket 775 system, with Pentium dual core chip. This is actually a great entry level card for gaming, good and great with dual or more core processors.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Cheap / Lower power requirement / fast for its price. See other thoughts for more details.

Cons: none that I could see.

Other Thoughts: I have this card in a smaller form factor case though modded the cooling a bit by removing the stock fans and having dual noctua 80mm fans blowing air directly on heatsink. So I cant talk to much about stock performance for this card.

It overclocks to 675/1000 with msi afterburner but you can push it higher with Saphire Trixx I had it running at 730/2000 for a while without any artifacts and the temps did not go over 52C though at 675/1000 you will get better temps and more or less the same FPS. Results may very depending on your system.

Gaming: 1366x768 Resolution

Blur Maxed 8xAA -> 26/40fps
Borderland Maxed 16xAA -> 30/60fps
Dungeon Siege 3 Demo Maxed 8xAA -> 50/60fps
Capsized Default -> 45/50fps
Frozen Synaps Default -> 45/50fps

I didn't test it on any other games for the time being, though do note that by disabling some options your fps will be better, with dynamic shadows off in borderlands the fps was around 80 -90 and 30% less GPU usage.
