5 out of 5 eggsNot as quiet, but stable!

Pros: Totally stable, handles multiple monitors smoothly

Cons: Not as quiet as I hoped

Other Thoughts: My previous card was an AMD 5770, also an MSI Twin Frozr model. Given my experience with that card, I was hoping this would be a repeat of a relatively quiet experience. While this card is by no means loud, I would say it's a step louder than the AMD card. It's idle noise is more noticable. At load, they are more similar.

Most importantly, this card is absolutely stable. I don't have any problems playing the latest games (Warframe, BF3, Borderlands 2), even at very high settings at fully native 1920x1200 resolution. And that's with extremely playable framerates (~60fps or more). Sometimes I'll take expensive options like lighting down to medium quality, but I am still very satisfied with how this card is holding up.

I'm still very happy with the MSI Twin Frozr models. This card remains relatively quiet, especially at idle. There might be quieter options, if you care about that.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Great Card with nice Overclocking potential. I have had this thing for over a year now and have had no issues with it. Temps remain relatively low under extreme load and with a slight overclock ( about 65C max) on BF3.

Cons: mini HDMI is kinda annoying to have instead of the regular HDMI slot. However, the card came with a mini - to regular HDMI connector.

Other Thoughts: NOTE: when updating drivers, the 560 ti is in the same class for this card.

3 out of 5 eggsQuestion

Pros: worked great for about a year now.

Cons: i see a lot of "screen going black" comments, mine speeds up real fast then reboots my pc, is this because of the graphics card?

1 out of 5 eggsLines threw the screen.

Pros: Something showed up on the screen.

Cons: Lines threw everything, only worked with open source drivers, after installing official drivers from NVIDIA the system crashed every time and wouldn't start.

Other Thoughts: NVIDIA needs to be more like ATI with drivers. I'm going ATI.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card so far.

Pros: Power
Keeps pretty cool

Cons: Size. I had to reroute a lot of cables to fit this including completely moving a hard drive. I've had trouble with large cards before but this is the biggest. It's mainly the fault of the big shiny metal plate. I'm not sure if it is functional for cooling or not......

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: none

Cons: Worked for 4 days then the one card went and 2 days latter second card went.

Other Thoughts: Called MSI and they told me i must have gotten a bad batch of cards.
Way to go MSI great quality control

Newegg customer service was great in helping me with my returns lets hope the next 2 cards are not from the same broken batch.

5 out of 5 eggsOutrageously good

Pros: Plays Duke Nukem like it was made for it. Oh, it was. ;)

Very fast, drivers loaded flawlessly, and zero issues thus far. Speed is on par with 2012 cards still.

Unbelievable bargain at 180, plus the 20 rebate. That's 160 for a GTX560 448. Stellar.

Cons: Today's cards are still the size of a car engine, and look like it. Forget about putting this in a mini-ATX multimedia machine. LOL.

3 out of 5 eggsnot linux friendly.

Pros: great card

Cons: after installing Linux drivers the system crashes. doesn't matter what distribution i use.

Other Thoughts: would be a great video card if it work with Linux

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We apologize for the issues that you are having with this product.
nVidia has actively providing driver updates for Linux OS, however if there's any issues be sure to try the latest version of the driver as well as kernel.
Please also verify if the card crashes in Windows-based OS to determine if this is actually a faulty-hardware issue or not.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing card

Pros: 320 bit bus, 448 cuda cores, 1280 memory for under $200, how can you go wrong?

I can run any game from Dishonored, Battlefield 3, Assasins Creed 3 on MAX settings with around 60fps.

Cons: None right now.

Other Thoughts: This card never goes above 57c under max load. Most other cards especially single fan cards will reach the high 60's.

2 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU PLAY ANY BLIZZARD GAME!

Pros: great specs for the price point

Cons: does not currently work with Blizzard entertainment games like D3, SC2 and WoW.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for the build I made my husband for Christmas this year and he cannot use it to play Blizzard games because of an issue with Nvidia and their drivers. Outside of those games it works fantastic but since that is 90% of what he does and the issue has been present for MONTHS with no fix from Nvidia (who has claimed responsibility for the issues) i cant rate it very high.

I've spent hours trying to make it work and there is just no fix. I really wish I had known before I bought it, i wouldve saved myself the trouble and gone with another card. Now i have to put his old one back in this nice new rig until they decide to fix the issue.....

Manufacturer Response:
