5 out of 5 eggsDidn't Regret My Decision!

Pros: This card is a juggernaut! nothing I threw at it yet has made it even break a sweat. I was originally going to get two GTX 570s but convinced myself to go big or go home. So I ordered one GTX 680 Lightning. And then a couple of days later ordered another one! One card alone was playing every game at max settings with a breeze. Far Cry 3, Battlefield 3... And now with two GTX 680 Lightnings, it's incredible! I haven't even started to overclock them myself. Just out of the box, they already handle everything at extreme settings.

Cons: The only con is the price of this card. But if you can afford it, I say go for it! But I also think they might be discontinued as well. At least on Newegg. I think I got two of some of the last ones in stock.

Other Thoughts: If you can get your hands one or even two. I'd choose two GTX680 Lightnings and SLI them over a EVGA GTX 690 or even a Titan. and still spend about the same amount of money. A reference GTX 680 SLI will out-perform a GTX690 on almost any game. So GTX 680 Lightnings SLI, (which are the fastest of the GTX 680 series), will hands down destroy any GTX 690. Two GTX 680s consume more power from your PSU so I at least go with a 750w PSU, or 850w with the Lightnings because of the extreme OC capability. One card would be more than enough to handle anything if you don't want to end up spending a grand for two.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card.

Pros: Came with 150 bucks worth of game credit, looks amazing in a case, and destroys everything I put in front of it. It never dips below 60fps in BF3 MP on Ultra, at 1920x1080. On a 120hz monitor on Ultra, it runs from 90 fps to 120 fps. It's a great card.

Cons: Not worth lost egg, but the reactor prevents 4 way sli due to it's size, effectively making this a 3 slot card for all intents and purposes. While you can take the reactor off, it kinda eats away at what makes the card look awesome. Like I said though, not worth losing an egg. It's also very long.

Other Thoughts: Great Card, Super Awesome, and now discontinued. I think I bought one of the last ones.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so...AWESOME

Pros: I went from 2 ATI Radeon 5870's in CrossfireX to this one MSI GTX680 Lightning and it has made a HUGE difference. A few days ago I was playing Crysis 3 on highest settings and it would stutter and crawl when turning, even when I turned the settings way down. I popped this card in and fired up Crysis and there is zero stutter and all settings are maxed out!

Also, Newegg shipping is great. I ordered about a grand worth of stuff and two items shipped from Jersey to my place in Long Island in about 36 hours (lowest shipping option too) then the graphics card and power supply came a day later...but from California!! Super quick two days from California to Long Island imo without choosing an expensive shipping option.

Cons: None so far, this graphics card is a beast and stays cool. Stress test with Kombustor never hit higher than 65 degrees C.

Other Thoughts: I guess the three items that were separated during checkout that came from California were out of stock in New Jersey so I understand that, and I'm happy they upgraded the shipping to UPS 3 Day Select to make it quick. Newegg can have all my money.

5 out of 5 eggsBUY IT NOW!!!! BESTGTX 680!!!

Pros: GPU Boost pushes 1215Mhz out of the box on my card!
Runs very cool!
Afterburner with this card is Amazing!
MSI Reactor lights up a pretty blue looks very nice in my blue lit Rig!
More Blue lights!
The Free 150 dollar game credit card worked!
Excellent Temps!

Cons: I would say the Price but once you have your hands on it and installed in your rig you won't regret it.

Other Thoughts: When you have tested this card for yourself you will see that the price is very fair. If you are on the fence about weather or not you should get a 670 or not forget the 670 and get this! Don't buy a 670 like my friend did then regret it later!

5 out of 5 eggsMSI 680 lightning

Pros: Easy install. This plays anything I throw at it on max settings; Battlefield 3(60+fps), Farcry 3(50-55fps), Hawken(60+fps) all while staying extremely cool at 50c on air.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a Asus 670 4gb dc2 non top. The performance difference between the two cards is huge(+30-40%) and I've never had this card get over 55c.

4 out of 5 eggsFastest GPU EVER!

Pros: Unbelievably Fast! Stays really cool even with hours upon hours of gaming. Comes with a back plate which provides excellent support. Overclocks really well!

This is the only GPU you will ever need for a single card system!

Cons: This card is MASSIVE! I have a full tower case and it barely cleared the hard drive bays by an inch.

Other Thoughts: If you want excellent overclocks you need to flash the bios to a previous version to get the unlocked voltage.

I would rate this 5/5 but I don't believe that anything is perfect, so a 4/5 is as good as it's going to get. Otherwise consider this a 5/5 rating.

2 out of 5 eggsAwesome performance bad quality control.

Pros: The performance is flawless. I received exactly what I expected after reading about this card and making comparisons with the 7970. Planetside 2 is not optimized well but this card runs the game at 45-60 FPS even during massive battles (1920x1200) + physx turned on using the nvidia beta drivers. I have my i7 3770k overclocked to 4.6 at the moment. I've seen the FPS drop to about 31-35 prior to overclocking the CPU. The overclock is definately a big factor in this game.

Cons: The front plate of the card was pushed in toward the back plate, causing one of the fans to stick way out of the plate. Basically it is not flush with the plate and doesn't look nice at the moment on my motherboard. It only takes two seconds to inspect the card before putting it in the box at the factory. I'm very disappointed that MSI did not do this. I spent $500 dollars for their top of the line part and I expect perfection in both performance and quality. I was thinking about taking it apart to try and bend the aluminum bracket which is holding the front plate but am afraid to do so because I might void the waranty. I had my family ship this to Korea as I currently reside there. MSI Korea turned me down on this matter so if I do an RMA I have to ship it back to the US which I'm thinking about (shipping + wait time is a problem).

Other Thoughts: My system specifications are as follows:

i7 3770K overclocked 4.6
MSI MPOWER Z77 Motherboard
MSI GTX 680 Lightning
Avexir 16GB Ram 2133 Mhz
Corsair GS700 PSU
Corsair Vengence C70
Corsair H100i
Samsung 840Pro 256GB SSD

Manufacturer Response:
