Used the MSI after Burners and it works like a charm - OC my card to 1511Mhz stable (!) Frm 1020Mhz stock (U know what I mean) - A very woth upgrade for my Old Rig. Can send audio via DVI-D to HDMI. 30C temp on regular a basis. Cons: On some occasions the monitor goes black for no reason - I'm using my old 46" HDTV as a monitor. Hopefully it (The Vid card) won’t burn or short circuit on me - The card is "Tweaked" and have been over-volted for fun and some ppl complained that their cards short-circuit due to design flaws..... Risky? Yeah I guess lol Other Thoughts: Overclocks like a champ! - Frm stock to 1511Mhz OC is just simply Impressive and the impact on games is well appreciated! I havent tryied to go more but I think I can do maybe 1600 MHZ OC... Tried a few games and they all worked fine, until playing Saints Row: The Third. The card suddenly froze after a few minutes, switched from a "No Signal" screen to a frozen frame of the game. It then did this with every game and I even tested it in a friends PC as well. I got an RMA and requested a replacement. Currently waiting for it to arrive. I'm annoyed that I had to pay an extra $14 just to get the faulty card shipped back to Newegg. Cons: When I tried to load this card on Linux the card would not get out of its reverse spin mode till the drivers were installed. When I used a fan speed controller, just messing around with the card, I found that turning the fan speed up started to produce a discerning amount of vibration from the case. I've since just let the card do its thing and it preforms great. Other Thoughts: DO NOT USE A FAN SPEED CONTROLLER. DO NOT USE TO INSTALL LINUX. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? N/A 5/11/2013 10:23:09 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5great card Pros: Size: very easily fits in a full ATX tower, might want to check measurements if you have a mid tower Noise: I upgraded to this from a 550ti and the sound level is a world of difference. With my old card playing most games I would have to get the fan up to 100% just to keep it under 80c and it sounded like a plane was taking off in my room. With this one even at 100% its not too much louder than my case fans. Temp: with the right fan settings I havnt seen this thing get over 58c with any games I play I just started playing Assassins creed 3 and using the Nvidia Geforce experience settings for that game, which has everything at max settings except Anti-aliasing which is at high instead of TXAA, I am running at 60 fps Cons: none Other Thoughts: its a great mid level card if your not wanting to spend almost double on a 680, which is what I was going to do but my older card started going out and I didnt have the money, so I will probably wind up saving a bit more and getting another one of these and putting them in SLI Did you find this review helpful? Pros: Even though the card was defective, and i had to UNDERCLOCK in order for it to run, it is still a huge step up from my GTX460. Runs quiet and cool (even though i have not been able to crank it up to really test it) Cons: DOA. Card will not run on Factory defaults, have to underclock. awaiting my RMA to really test it. Started to hear something fizz and crackle in my case and immediately turned my computer off and found it to be the graphics card.
