  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg MSI Power Edition Graphics The MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition graphics card uses the MSI Power Edition architecture: Triple Overvoltage with Afterburner support allows adjustments to the GPU, Memory and PLL voltages so the full potential of the graphics card can be released and performance overclocked by up to 18.2%. The power supply has also been improved to increase current flow by 17% compared to the reference board and maintain high stability during overclocking.
  • newegg Twin Frozr IV MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition graphics card features the new Twin Frozr IV cooling. With MSI's unique Dust Removal technology, the fans automatically run in reverse at startup to optimize cooling performance. The internationally exclusive Propeller Blade technology delivers 20% more airflow compared to conventional fans and also increases the cooling surface. 5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card - A Retrospective

Pros: I got this card back in 2012 and have used it every day since. A few months later, I decided to purchase another card to SLI. I have never had an issue with this card. It has crushed almost every game I've thrown at it. A+!

Cons: The fans are a slight pain to clean.

Other Thoughts: I've considered upgrading to a good single card, but I haven't found any that outperforms the SLI (within a reasonable price bracket) enough to warrant a purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice GPU

Pros: - Not overly large
- Quiet
- Nice FPS in all games

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: Great card bought it locally used from a guy upgrading for $160.00 a few months ago. The card was in perfect condition. I had an MSI HD 7870 Ghz I bought here that I very much liked but this one performed better overall in most games around 5-15 FPS faster game depending. The HD 7870 being faster in a few (Crysis 3 being one of them).

I would have been happy with either card, but I will take the decent FPS boost I get with this one and I could not pass up a card in that good of condition for that price at that time =)

5 out of 5 eggsQuick and cool

Pros: Very fast gpu for the price and age! I am getting 55-80 fps in Battlefield 3. Granted I have an AMD 8350 vishera, but this card is very fast and keeps at a low temp. I have no extra cooling or fans, and the card never drops below 40 fps in any game I play. Great card!

Cons: The HDMI port was oddly misshapen. I had to bend it to fit. Nothing serious though!

Other Thoughts: Awesome card for the price.

Great Performance, Blazing speed

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: There is no need to overclock it because it is factory overclocked

1 out of 5 eggsEasily the worst computer related experience of my life

Pros: A solid card apparently, if it worked.... Either time

Cons: Didn't work. RMA'd it. New one didn't work.

Other Thoughts: I'm not going to go too far into this, but the first of these cards that I bought did not work. It took me a very long time to figure out which component wasn't working (the nature of a new build), but after a few weeks of debugging I got lucky. I tried to RMA it to newegg but I removed the UPC label to get a rebate, which I didn't get to send off. Newegg rejected my RMA since the UPC label was not in it's original location (I did include it in the RMA when i sent it off). Newegg has been great in the past though, so I can let that slide.
But at this point, -$10 for shipping and I lost the $35 rebate. -$45 already.
So I get it back and factory warranty it (another -$10). MSI eventually gets me a new card - I put it in...and voilà! Hard self shut down as soon as I put a game in. I tried to live with it, but I'm done with that.

So here I am, no graphics card, essentially $55 down the drain (not including the price of the card of course) and slightly miffed to say the least. I bought this card because it supposedly is a reliable and solid card, but after the experience I've had with MSI, I will not be buying anything from them again. You don't replace a broken card with another broken card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat "budget" card

Pros: Great heatsink/fan combo
Runs under 62* in all sorts of tests
Great performance
The blue goes with my system :3
Fans are quiet under realistic heavy use scenarios

Cons: Mine was a failure at overclocking

Other Thoughts: This card is an all around great buy. I purchased mine locally for around $165 and man is it a step up!

I'm coming from an XFX 7850 1 GB and this card does a lot better. Granted, this card and my old one don't really compete due to the price differences.

This card has a great heatsink and fan design that keep it under 62* in Kombustor and Unigine Heaven.

However, the part that I was really looking forward to (the overclocking) pretty much failed on my specific card.

This card is touted as one of the best for overclocking due to unlocked voltage and a much better power delivery system. However, mine must have not made the cut by much and can't overclock more than 40 Mhz on core and about 200 Mhz on memory.

Keep in mind that this card will auto-boost to around 1200+ Mhz if thermal conditions are good. (<70*C I think)

So, with this card, you are basically getting a free +200 Mhz with GPU Boost 2.0 which I guess is my 'overclock.' A 1200 Mhz 660 Ti is a force to be reckoned with ESPECIALLY if you can pick one up sub-$200.

5 out of 5 eggsi like it

Pros: It fit in my old dell studio desktop case (same case they are still selling their computers with) just had to move a hard drive. It made my rig with a first generation i7 processor act like a beast. crysis three, skyrim with 42 mods, bioshock infinite you name it looks and plays amazing with ultra settings.

Cons: when i loaded a mod onto skyrim called dat grass i actually had bad frame rates. but to be fair i only have 8 gigs of ram and a very old i7 so one of those could have been the culprit. Plays everything else perfectly. hoping to get three more years from this machine.

Other Thoughts: its large but if i can get it into a small dell case then most cases shouldn't be an issue.
