The MSI N650 Ti PE 1GD5/OC graphics card incorporates two of MSI's exclusive architectures, triple overvoltage and enhanced PWM design, effectively boosting overclocking potential up to 17%. The exclusively designed Cyclone II heatsink module with 9cm PWM temperature controlled fans and dual heatpipes provides an optimum balance between noise and heatsinking. Reverse Dust Removal technology automatically removes dust from the heatsink module and maintains optimum cooling performance. Propeller Blade technology also increases airflow by 20% compared to conventional fans, effectively reducing the temperature to 57? and the operating noise to 18.89 dB in a maximum operating state. MSI uses high quality and stable Military Class III components to provide gamers with a smooth and dependable working environment during overclocking or gaming. The features and technologies in the power supply, cooling, and materials incorporated in the MSI GTX 650 Ti Power Edition far exceed the specifications of the reference board. The superior overclockability makes it the ideal choice among its class.

  • newegg MSI Power Edition Architecture The MSI GTX 650 Ti Power Edition graphics card uses MSI Power Edition architecture: Triple Overvoltage with Afterburner support allows adjustments to the GPU, Memory, and PLL voltages, releasing the full potential of the graphics card and overclocking performance by up to 17%. The power supply has also been improved to increase the current flow by 67% compared to the reference board and to maintain high stability during overclocking.
  • newegg Exclusive Cyclone II Cooling The MSI GTX 650 Ti Power Edition graphics card features Cyclone II cooling. The 9cm PWM temperature controlled fans provide excellent cooling while reduing the noise produced by the fans. Dual heatpipes can increase the speed of heatsinking by simultaneously spreading heat to the heat sink fins and removing heat via the PWN temperture controlled fans—a perfect conbination of quietness and heat sinking. With MSI's proprietary Reverse Dust Removal technology, the fans automatically run in reverse at startup, removing dust before rotating in the normal direction to maintain optimized cooling performance. The internationally patented Propeller Blade technology delivers 20% more airflow compared to conventional fans and also increases the cooling surface. In a maximum operating state, it effectively reduces the core temperature to 57? and the operating noise by 18.89 dB.
  • newegg Military Class III Components for a Smooth and Reliable Performance MSI Military Class III components guarantee reliable performance. They have been tested by a certified third-party testing laboratory simulating harsh work environments and passed 7 tests, meeting MIL-STD-810G military standards. Military-grade components used in the MSI GTX 650 Ti Power Edition include a Tantalum Core Hi-c CAP, a 30% more powerful SFC, and a Solid CAP with a service life of up to 10 years. The choice of materials reflects MSI's commitment to product quality.
  • newegg Afterburner overclocking utility MSI Afterburner overclocking software allows you to adjust the fan speed in real time to achieve the perfect balance between cooling performance and noise level. Quick OC Test function by Kombustor tests user's graphics cards for maximized overclocking stability. It also support Real-Time Video Capturing function to record in-game scenes and share with friends.
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.

2 out of 5 eggsCard ok but...

Pros: Originally this was a great value buy, including Borderlands 2 and a $30 rebate.

Cons: MSI didn't honor the rebate. They first claimed I didn't send in my invoice, which I guess is possible, but I've never done that before. They scan what you've apparently sent and show you on their online rebate tracking. I was then given a month to comply and send in the missing information. I sent in the invoice, but then they removed the scanned documents I sent the first time! Now I'm missing the UPC, but I already sent it! The "view documentation button" of my first shipment just shows my new shipment.

Other Thoughts: I could have waited a couple days and received about the same price from someone else. I know that I won't be buying an MSI product again if there's a rebate involved.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We apologize for the issues that you are having with this product.
You needed to follow instructions and check your stuff when submitting the rebate.
If you need assistance with this rebate issue, please contact us at usreview@msi.com with all of the documents and rebate claim # and we will be more than happy to assist you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for a Budget

Pros: -Amazing Price, got this on sale for $118 before the $20 Rebate
-Great cooling solution already on the card. Can really push some air, especially if you manually adjust the fan speed.
-So far has been running everything I can throw at it on highest settings, including Skyrim, Sleeping Dogs, XCOM, and Arkham City. This is without OCing.

Cons: -The fan -can- be a little loud if the card is really under load (or you've manually turned it up), but that's to be expected. Even on the aforementioned games, it doesn't get any louder than a soft hum. If you're a real quiet freak, the fan and heatsink doesn't seem like it's too difficult to remove, and replace with something else.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you know what you're buying, because this card doesn't support SLI. Still an awesome card, that -can- still be used for dedicated PhysX if you upgrade to another card in the future.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Purchased and installed in a client's low/mid range gaming computer, built in an Antec 300 case. No problems whatsoever since purchase.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Watch heatsink height in some cases. Requires ~ 2 inches of clearance above the height of the board, itself.

5 out of 5 eggsBeastly Budget card

Pros: this card looks fantastic with the black pcb, the unique heatsink, and the blue led. This card went into a system with an i5 2500k 8gb ddr3 ram and a 500w power supply. it is performing marvelously.
this card also overclocks like a beast, with msi afterburner you can unlock voltage control and with a bit of tweaking i got this card over 1200mhz core clock, 1202 to be exact which is about a 21% overclock from stock clocks on the core.
comes with a mini hdmi to hdmi adapter which is a very convenient item to include so it is ready for an hdtv.
only 1 6 pin pci express connector needed which comes on the majority of power supplies being sold today, even the low output supplies.
the open style of heatsink i believe is a good design because some of the heatsink even overlaps the pcb allowing air to flow around the graphics card out the top of the case easier, assuming you have top exhaust fans.

Cons: first con is not about the card. the main con is the feedback being provided by inexperienced and whiney people who think they know what they are doing but really don't.
STOP CORRUPTING THE REVIEWS WITH IDIOCY.
no sli bridge, well DUH! read what you are buying before you unthinkingly buy a product.
The card is a little longer than other brands, for example evga or gigabyte. but in my opinion this one looks a lot better as well.

Other Thoughts: i mainly play dirt 3. and on my 2nd rig which is a smaller budget rig it runs off a 1600x900 monitor. all settings were maxed out and it was able to record, yes record the gameplay above 50fps.
i have 2 msi gtx 680s in my main rig. one lightning edition and one power edition. i am very happy with all 3 of my msi graphics cards, i was also fortunate enough to catch this one when it was $20 cheaper than the asking price at the time of review, $160. so i got it for around $140. Catch this card on sale, buy it and you will not be disappointed.

4 out of 5 eggsNever got rebate, but great video card

Pros: Runs cool. Quiet. My games look really awesome with this card installed. Fast.

Cons: Sent in my rebate application more than a month ago and I have yet to hear anything back. That is the only keeping me from giving it five stars. But other than that, this is a great video card for anyone who is looking to get an inexpensive gpu without sacrificing performance.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice videocard

Pros: Runs extremely cool. 23C right now as I type which is about room temperature. Gets as high as 55C under load playing Crysis 3 and other demanding games. My old videocard idled at the temp this card reaches under load so I am very pleased. Plays almost everything with maxed details at nice framerates. Excellent bang for the buck at this price point.

Cons: Rebate will probably come some time in July or August if it comes at all, lol. Free shipping took about a week and a half which kinda sucked but the price was right.

Other Thoughts: Got this on sale for $139 with free Borderlands 2 and a $30 mail-in rebate which made it a very good deal. I'd buy one again.

5 out of 5 eggsKicks fanny.

Pros: I run Minecraft on this a ton, and though that may not seem like a terribly demanding game, it is. When you're running it with Far view distance on 64 bit Java, the game requires a lot of processing power. I run it at a consistent 60 fps. Other than that, I keep an average of 30 fps on the most recent 3dMark 11 Benchmark program and with my system's config, my score is P4783 which isn't too shabby. The cooling on this card is phenomenal, I have never breached 50 degrees celsius. And I rarely touch 40 degrees.

The card played Minecraft on the highest settings on one display while running a DVD to my 1080p TV at the same time. Multitasking, and doing it under 40 degrees celsius. It's a great card.

Cons: It's bigger than a photo would suggest, but that was no problem using my Cooler Master HAF 912.

Other Thoughts: It looks like a weapon! COOL Newegg won't let you say the four letter B word that means your rear end so I chose "Fanny" for my title.
