  • newegg Twin Frozr III Thermal Design Dual 8 PWM fans with SuperPipe technology provide better heat dissipation, while Propeller Blade Technology generates 20% more airflow than traditional fan design, achieving 22 degree cooler and 10.2 dB quieter than reference design!!
  • newegg MSI Solid Capacitor Graphic Cards MSI Graphics Card products utilize high quality solid capacitor. For the gamers and high-end users, this feature not only means that product has better quality components within, but also provide much stronger support while users want to engage in hard-core tuning.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Afterburner With Afterburner overclocking utility, the MSI R7870-2GD5T/OC enables you to boost performance and to monitor all kinds of critical information in real-time. Afterburner is a completely free utility which is compatible with almost all MSI graphics cards.

3 out of 5 eggsN680GTX TF 2GD5

Pros: 1) New - still in original packaging and factory sealed.
2) Quiet when under full load, compared to other brands.
3) Out performed 2 GTX555 OEM in SLI configuration.
4) 48c while playing BF4 on Ultra High for over an hour.
5) Bonus Gifts: Assassins Creed IV - BF and Splinter Cell - BL free (a $89.00 value).

Cons: 1) OVER PRICED! With the release of GTX780 Ti, I do not understand why this card is so expensive.
2) Over 3 years old since its commercial release.
3) Lack of Data for I/O features (needs more details)

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card

Pros: One of the greatest purchases I've made in accordance to GPUs for the following reasons:
-Runs cool, even on massive overclocks.
I oc'ed this thing's stock core clock with MSI's afterburner software to about 1.4GHz, the temps never exceeded 60 degrees C.
-It's a 680, so it delivers incredibly high-end graphics processing.
On my 3570K, I can play Far Cry 3 never dipping below 60FPS anywhere on the island, with maxed out settings. And my 3570's at stock clocks.
-The value is great.
For such a well built card, the price is much lower than competitor's prices, OC editions aren't a necessary buy because this card overclocks fantastically.

Cons: None whatsoever.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns Cool

Pros: Runs fast and overclocks faster! Mine is current OC'd at a +500 memory clock, +150 core clock, with +100 Voltage and it has never risen about 65 degrees during a stress test, and that's with the fan running at 75%. I can probally push it more, but getting more voltage out of it is a chore, and I simply don't need the excess yet. I see an average temp of 30c, and my setup is nothing special.
Card installed easily, driver's were a piece of cake, no problems what so ever.
Currently using one card for two 27 inch monitors.

Cons: The Price! I really want a second one, but my budget is killing me at the moment. Also, getting the power to overclock above +100 volts has been difficult. Better then most card's I have used, though!

Other Thoughts: Really liked this card+brand. Getting a second and another monitor, cant wait to play my games through 3 27 inch monitors.
