5 out of 5 eggsMore than adequate

Pros: Runs cool, quiet, inexpensive

Cons: hard to find

Other Thoughts: Replaced a gtx280 with this thing, and wow. My idle temps dropped from 68c to 29c, and load temps from 84c to 68c tops, usually runs closer to 63c. FPS went up from 58 to 104. This card is equivalent to an r7 265, and much cheaper when you can find it. Couldn't be happier.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best HD 7850s

Pros: -Small
-Cool design

Cons: -Slightly hot idle 50 C temperature, but it may just be my MicroATX case.

Other Thoughts: The biggest pro about this card is the 2GB VRAM. 1GB VRAM is quickly becoming outdated and half of the HD 7850s out there only have 1GB.

I've had no issues with this video card. It performs as I'd expect a 7850 to.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This card is a CHAMP it pretty much handles what I throw at it most of the time this includes games like Dota 2, LoL, Smite, Skyrim, Saints Row IV, Darksiders II, Tomb Raider and many more of the games at either High or Max graphics. This card also stays pretty cool during the play sessions that I have which are around 3 to 5 hrs long MSI Afterburner lets you OC as well but u can also do it from your BIOS. This is my first MSI card and no fault so far runs great, no heat issues, you might want to handle with care it's a little on the handle with care side.

Cons: no cons what so ever for the moment.

Other Thoughts: I haven't tried over clocking it yet because its already OC 100Mhz I will try to OC once I get a new MOBO.

4 out of 5 eggsMSI R7850

Pros: At the time of purchase it was reasonably priced
Better than similarly priced Nvidia cards
256 bit memory interface
Relatively low power consumption
Came with 2 free games from AMD
Runs every game I play with no problems

Cons: Structurally flimsy, the card is not fully enclosed and lacks functional support
When handling it feels like you may break bend or tweak it
The enclosure feels like i moves

Other Thoughts: Its a great card but structurally its shoddily built. Just handle it with extra care. Also, AMD chinced out on supplying the free games. The promotion is entitled Never Settle Forever, but the time to obtain the promotional games is anything but forever. If you get a game based on an AMD promotion don't wait to use the game voucher.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: Works great, included software is pretty solid, makes overclocking and general control and monitoring of the card a breeze. Generally haven't felt much need to push it, though. It runs modern games (eg. dishonored, crysis 2) with really high settings and high frame rate.

Cons: Not necessarily noisy, but definitely audible, even at standby.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful and..

Pros: Powerful GPU for price, easily overclockable. In fact, just bought another to crossfire. Can play most games on Ultra with well over 50-60 FPS. On Blacklight: Retribution, the game I often play the most, I even can get 80-120 FPS with everything on max.

Cons: Crashes once in a great while, but generally only if I have it overclocked too much, so no egg removed.

3 out of 5 eggsAnnoying Clicking Sound

Pros: It can handle all the games I throw at it at decent settings at 1080p. I tried Rome II: Total War and it could only do the the high/medium settings at 1080p, but all other games it handles them like a champ.

If you're looking for a sweet spot in price v.s. performance of modern GPUs, the 7850 and 7870 are definitely it. I liked that it had 2 GB of memory and had fairly high reviews.

It looks nice in the case as well.

Cons: There is an odd clicking noise that comes from the fan. If I'm scrolling down a webpage it'll make a click as I change between up and down scroll. It will also click when the intensity changes in a game. For example between showing a video in the video game and actually generating the images on the screen. I don't know how to solve this annyoing clicking noise. I normally wouldn't care, but I have this graphics card in my Home Theater PC, so it's really unacceptable.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully yours won't click or if it does, you don't care.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks good some initial weirdness

Pros: Fast, nice, what I expected.

Cons: The software it comes with thinks the fan should be set to loud mode when the temps are still low. Likely my error as a user not setting it right.

Really interesting issue with scaling automagically set to -10%.. makes it look like a fuzzy letterbox. Thankfully others have posted online and it was an easy fix. Set scaling to 0% in CCC.

Other Thoughts: Would order again.. small and good looking.

5 out of 5 eggsHighly Satisfied

Pros: Fantastic price/performance ratio.
Very stable temperatures, even when OC'd.
Extremely quiet, both idle and under load (Rather surprising from a single fan).
Flawless operation without a single catch or hiccup.

Cons: Absolutely none to speak of.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this on sale as an upgrade from my previous lower end GPU's and was blown away by its performance. In a gaming scenario, this card can easily run Metro: Last Light, (one of the most graphically demanding games in existence) on High Settings at a great 40-60 FPS. I managed to pick it up for $120 (a virtual steal), but I'd be perfectly content spending all the way up to $200 for this piece. It's powerful, cheap, runs cool, and is reliably steadfast. In all honesty, I can't find a single flaw in the product, and I'd reccomend it to everyone within its budget.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid card.

Pros: Stays very cool, and overclocks like a champ. I made it from 900/1100 to 1150/1300 on the core/memory (respectively) without ever touching the voltage. Pitcairn is also one of the best cards for crossfire; it scales extremely well.

Cons: Voltage is locked on MSI afterburner; this is a huge problem for someone with similar intentions as I. I hit a wall at 1150/1300 even with wattage adjustments because I cannot raise the core voltage to prevent down-throttling past that. There are ways around that; but this I felt was a let down on MSI's part.

Other Thoughts: Other than the con noted this is a solid card, I've had no issues with Vdroop and even with no Vcore increase, my cores do not throttle in furmark even with this hefty overclock.

Would definitely recommend.
