With 7Gpbs of memory – the fastest ever on a GPU – the MSI N770-2GD5/OC Video Card aims to deliver high speed and a super-smooth gaming experience. The powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU GTX 770 of 1536 cores, and 2GB of GDDR5 graphics memory, work together to deliver awesome performance. All solid capacitors ensure an ultra-long 10-year lifetime, lower temperature, and higher efficiency. The afterburner overclocking utility makes it simple to adjust the graphic card's power for even more performance. And with support for NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround and a maximum of four display outputs on a single card, users will be able to enjoy the ultimate in gaming and multi-tasking.

  • newegg MSI Afterburner Overclocking Utility Co-developed by MSI and Rivatuner, the "Afterburner" MSI graphics card utility allows you to adjust the fan, GPU, and memory clocking speeds in real time, and tune the voltage of the GPU to completely unleash its power. A real-time monitoring interface and burn-in stability test give gamers the power to control the card's overclocking status at any time. MSI Afterburner also supports wireless control by android/iOS handheld devices and built-in DX 11 effect test. In-game video recording is also supported. Afterburner is a completely free utility which is compatible with almost all MSI graphics cards.
  • newegg All Solid Capacitors MSI Solid Capacitor Graphic Card uses a high-quality solid capacitor for lower temperature, higher efficiency, and up to a 10-year lifetime. The aluminum core eliminates the possibility of explosion. For gamers and high-end users, this feature not only means that product has better quality components within, but it also provides much stronger support when users engage in hard-core tuning.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, which enables a new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic GeForce experience.
  • newegg Single Card 3D Vision Surround Support Apart from supporting the latest DirectX 11 technology, the MSI N660-2GD5/OC can use 3D Vision Surround technology to set up a three-display, 3D surround environment with just one graphics card. With high-quality 3D displays and 3D glasses, this allows gamers to enjoy the amazing visuals in 3D games and movies. Up to four display outputs are supported on one single card, allowing gamers to take full advantage of multiple displays and multi-tasking while gaming.

4 out of 5 eggsActually good

Pros: Stays cool, performs, full HDMI slot (I don't like the mini HDMI on a lot of GPU's), runs very quiet.

Cons: Full plastic shroud, sticker decal, power connections facing the side panel.

Other Thoughts: When I first looked at the card, I didn't want to like it much. the front side looks plain, and a decal sticker on the shroud. This isn't the late 90's or early 2000's MSI. But none the less 300+ fps in a lot of low end games, and 70-80 in most high demand games. This cooler needs to be provided with fresh air, and needs you to not put your case against something. For me, I have it in a corsair air series 540 and it stays well under 70c. And as a hobby I work on indie games with crydev and udk. This card makes that and 3-d modeling pretty smooth without having to get a workstation GPU. All in all, this card is great for gamers, but if thats all you do and you only play at 1080 I recommend going with the 760. And this guy in a 4GB model for 2k resolution, 2 in SLI for multi-monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Frills, No Problems

Pros: This card is a powerful and reliable version of the GTX 770 reference card that boasts a small factory OC right out of the box. The MSI Afterburner software is a great tool for gaming. Having the GeForce Experience software is another added bonus.

Initially I was tempted to spend the extra $ 20-30 for one of the other 770 models but after reading reviews and comparing the technical specs I returned to this card satisfied that it would perform as well or better than some of the more alluring models. I have been more than satisfied with my purchase.

After 5 months with no problems I can't say I am anything but happy. It's a great card if you want solid power but can't afford to break the bank (too much).

Cons: I have a medium sized case and the card barely fit inside, do your homework before you buy and make sure it fits.

When the fan is cranked up to the max it can be a bit loud especially if your rig is close by. I play with headphones so it isn't an issue. I rarely need to max out the fan but it depends what you use it for.

Even in demanding games like Bio Shock Infinite or Assassins Creed Black Flag (Max Settings) The GPU temp never rose above 71 C which is a little hot but still acceptable; no reason to deduct an egg.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: 1) Plays all the games easily.
2) I was concerned that a single fan would not cool properly, how ever running the fan at 80% to 90% while I am gaming keeps the card around 50 degrees Celsius while playing BF4 or COD Ghost. Even running the fan at the default of 30% that the MSI afterburner runs it at still produces temp. of about 70 degrees Celsius. This with in the normal operating range of the card.
3) Closed body type card seems to keep out the dust better and also protects the card so much better than the 2 fan very open type of card. Which to me can make damaging the card a little to easy. Even if done to more ventilate the card.
4) The reverse spinning fan to keep dust out works perfectly.
5) After looking at what it can sell for now, 350 to 500 dollars. I was oh so glad I got the black friday deal of under 300 bucks

I love this card, wish I could afford to get another one.

I originally bought 2 MSI 7850's, but was disappointed at the performance and all the tweeking I had to do get them to run right in sli. After a week I bought this card AND DIDN'T LOOK BACK !!!

In my opinion, it was well worth the money

Cons: the 6 pin 8 pin combo power ports will make you find out for sure if your power supply can handle it.

Other Thoughts: iTS BIG, requires a pretty big power supply to, make sure you have the right power pins on your power supply. Check you case size as well.

4 out of 5 eggsSeemed like it had no issues

Pros: Fat upgrade from gtx 560 non-ti.
Was able to play Battlefield 4 on ultra.

Cons: Overheated after a week. I decided to ask MSi to RMA it instead of NewEgg. It was probably the biggest mistake. Note for any MSi buyers or current owners, their customer service is terribly slow and are not too consistent in reply to emails. It took me literally over a month to finally get a reply to only realize they had no replacement (NewEgg was also sold out of this model at the time). Had to make agreements on a suitable replacement and received MSI Gaming N770 TF 2GD5 as a replacement.

Other Thoughts: People looking for graphic cards ought to look for cards that have a heat sink exposed with fans over it. I find that any sort of GPU's with closed fan systems are not able to displace heat as quickly as many manufacturers claim, no matter what sort of technology.

4 out of 5 eggsJust got this and Having some troubles

Pros: Keeps Cool and a nice fit in my case

Cons: Having Some FPS problems not entirely with the card but more compatibility problems.

Other games like AC:4 witch came with the game is only get 25-30 etc..

Im not sure if its my drivers or anything but my drivers are all updated and are working fine.

5 out of 5 eggsMax out your settings folks!

Pros: Really good price/performance ratio for a higher end card.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: If you have an older PCI Express 2.0 mobo and are worried about losing performance, don't be! At this stage, you're not going to see much benefit with having a PCIE 3 mobo no matter what card you have.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Black Friday deal!!!

Pros: Runs @ 58c in my Rosewill Blackhawk case
60 FPS in GRID 2 on Ultra, maxed out Guild Wars 2, BF3 is getting about 75 FPS online.
Quieter than my previous cards.
MSI :D

Cons: Power ports aren't on the front of the card, but the side. Just personal preference it might not bother others, but you can see in the picture.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for 300$ on Black Friday. Amazing deal.!! Wanted the "Lightening" model with the dual fans, but this is just as good, the shader clock is just missing ~20mhz but that's no big deal. The other model was the same price as well, that card sold out within hours, I had to wait on Friday to get my check. No biggie though, I got this one and it's still a 770 with 1500 CUDA cores which was most important to me.

Bought this to replace 2 550ti Fermi's in SLI. I was extremely disappointed in SLI for gaming purposes. I never saw the second card utilized, ever. Except in Medal of Honor from 2010. It was just idling sucking up that 40w. So after a lot of choosing, I stuck with Nvidia, mostly for the SHIELD and driver support. Oh and PhysX, a lot of the games I play utilize their engine.
And I went with the 770 simply because the 50 and 60 cards are "enthusiast" based, and I wanted more of a serious card. With the 780 being a 500$ card, and benchmarks were putting the 770 right next to it, I saved the 200 and went with the 770. Then I waited for Black Friday. And oh my stars they had a deal on it!

Now I am not necessarily an Nvidia fan boy, my rig came with the single 550 and I went to SLI to get that 30% extra performance, that I never saw. And when a game did support it (I think AC3 used the second card) there were artifacts and glitches. No thank you.
So I went back to a single card, and it's beyond handled everything I've thrown at it today. NextGen proof for sure.

My system:
Intel i7 3770
16GB RAM @ 1600mhz
1TB HDD
500w Bronze PSU
MSI mobo
MSI GTX 770 to go with the mobo now :D !

I have pretty good faith in MSI, I've had their mobo for over a year now with no issues ever. Live Update utility is awesome. And now I have an MSI graphics card, so my faith is in that as well. Great company, will definitely build with them again.
