Pros: Great card! When it works..

Cons: Unfortunately after the second day I began running into artifact issues that persist. Had to underclock the card to get it to work properly without all the graphical issues. Latest driver/vbios didn't help solve the issue. I love MSI but I don't know what they were thinking when working on the 270X line.

Other Thoughts: I should've gone with my gut and not gotten this card, but went with it anyway just because of the MSI brand. Not really interested in RMAing it for a card of the same type since it's a manufacturing issue with this line of GPUs. Kind of let down.

Pros: Silent,runs eso maxed out at 30-40fps,BF4 at 45-55fps
Runs at 55c at stock clocks

Cons: overheats while OC. Artifacts if it gets over 63c.

Other Thoughts: would have went with a diferent brand then MSI.

Pros: The card worked as expected. Gets nearly the same framerates as a 760 at significantly less of a price.

Great temps

Quiet!

Looks pretty fancy aswell!

Cons: AMD drivers can sometimes be annoying, but overall they are really not that bad.

Some issues with dual monitors. These may be fixed though, as I haven't tried again in a while, because the card is only 2gb anyways.

Other Thoughts: Get this card if you're on a budget. If you can, consider moving to a 280x or a 290, as those cards are great deals. I have moved on to a gigabyte 290 that was on sale, as this card was not what i wanted, and it was a poor purchase on my side.

Pros: Ran everything I threw at it on high settings perfectly

Cons: Card stopped working after about 6 months of use. Screen started locking up while playing games turning white or red. Then it would go black at randoms times, with audio still working. Now it goes black before I can even load windows all the way and even while in the bios. I've read this is a fairly common issue with these cards so I would steer clear from all R9 series cards.

Pros: Fast card, can handle most games on max settings.
Also it is beautiful and stays cool.
Best part, it is MSI and allows you to overclock with Afterburner

Cons: I got a bad card. After one night of use, it started having a 3 in x 3 in augmented pixel square. It would turn white and black and change colors frequently. Although it was a good card I had to RMA it.

2 out of 5 eggsWonderful Card, Multitude of Problems

Pros: Card ran pretty much everything I threw at it. Ran a 3D Mark test and the card performed well for its price point.
The card is also silent. I could barely hear it running even while testing it with 3D Mark. For gaming this is the best card for the price as of today. It'll play pretty much any game at 60fps.

Cons: Card died after a week. Two white bars appeared on the screen when trying to boot. Left my comp running with nothing graphically intensive on over a couple of days to download games from steam. Could be because of the manufacturer, or it might be my case. But, I highly doubt it could have been the case due to excessive measures to make sure everything ran cold. I used the Cooler Master N200 for my build.

Other Thoughts: Great card, but it died within a week for me. Results may vary.

Pros: Awesome card, runs quiet and cool no problems with at all and all my games run smooth at the highest settings.

Cons: Only con when i bought this card at the time the amd free games were suddenly unavailble. Four months later the card is now cheaper and they brought back the silver two free games from amd.

Pros: Fast, easy install - supports FOUR (4) monitors (although pre and post support did not know this).

Cons: Ignorant pre AND post sale support

Other Thoughts: This is my second R9 270x Gaming card. I had to replace an older 6870 that stopped 3 months before the 3 year warranty (so it will be replaced), but I needed a card until my replacement--so I got a 2nd R9 270x (since I can use BOTH in the other machine when the rma replacement arrives).

However, I wanted to know if it would support four (4) monitors--since that is how I had my previous 6870 configured. First, I sent an email to "pre-sale" support (since this was a pre-sale question and if it did not--I wanted to know which other card would support 4 monitors). Pre-sale support said, "Sorry, this is a presale form..." Useless response, so I ripped on them and they finally replied back, "The card has Dual-link DVI-I x 1, Dual-link DVI-D x 1, HDMI x 1 (version 1.4a), DisplayPort x 1, which can only perform triple output since you can only have 2 legacy output plus 1 displayport output."

Meaning, no - it supports 3 monitors. In the meantime, while waiting for my pre-sale response (took 2 days for the email), I had called tech support. He first said 4, then couldn't even help me to get three working (I realized it required a re-boot--but he didn't catch that), then he checked with someone else and said, no--it only supports three.

Both pre and post-sale support was WRONG. It supports 4 monitors (one to each connection, but the connection to the displayport requires an ACTIVE adapter (that has a timing chip in the adapter)). I had two of these from my previous (just needed to get a mini to displayport adapter) and it worked--all FOUR.

So, the card is great--even better since the card WILL support FOUR monitors (I have three 24" monitors and a 32" HD TV monitor on the wall (at the same resolution)).

The problem is not the card--it is the support - don't even know their own product. Plus, the product manager needs to put (Supports 4 monitors (with correct adapters)) on the BOX and the website.
