5 out of 5 eggsAmazing for less than 1080p screens

This review is from: MSI R7 250 1GD5 OC Radeon R7 250 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: GREAT card for the price. maxes out (WITH 2xAA or 4xAA) modern warfare 2, 3, black ops 2 and cod ghosts, league of legends, star wars the old republic, and tera at 1680x1050, all at 30+ fps. these are the only games ive tried. it runs guild wars 2 at high settings with no AA at 30+ fps

Cons: fan might be a bit loud to any of you who might be bothered by that sort of thing.i generally listen to really loud music when i play games so it doesnt bother me. i went in msi afterburner and set the fan speed to 100% and my stereo volume is set to ~48 db, and i cant hear it.

Other Thoughts: when i first installed the card, control panel -> device manager named it standard vga adapter, and i couldnt run any games. downloaded drivers and catalyst and it worked fine (something you should do when you get a new computer anyways)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card! couldn't be happier!

This review is from: MSI R7 250 1GD5 OC Radeon R7 250 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: The card is great! For only $90 I can't believe the frame rate I'm getting on all of my games. I have not found a game I can't play on at least medium setting. I run 1 monitor at 1080p. Great card for price! Strongly recommend if your on a budget.

Cons: There really aren't any cons with this card. I'm sure some people would complain it's not that strong of a card but it's only $90. You get 1 heck of a graphic card that price.

1 out of 5 eggsAmazing card for about 4 hours

This review is from: MSI R7 250 1GD5 OC Radeon R7 250 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Fantastic gaming performance. Quiet running.

Cons: Performance went south within a couple of hours.

Other Thoughts: It broke my heart as this card was a killer deal. With it being only 65 bucks after mail in rebate this card was in the price range of a Radeon HD 6450 which is extremely less powerful than the R7 250. I plugged this card in and could not believe the settings I could run games at. I was so happy. I tested all my games with it and the card ran everything silky smooth.

I walked away for about an hour and came back to play some Far Cry 3. All of the sudden I was getting half the frame rate that I had gotten previously. I had to start turning down settings to get it to run as smooth as it was before. Then I noticed the card had serious problems switching to full screen on all games and sometimes even locked up the computer. I manually cleaned out all drivers and re-installed them several times. I checked and even replaced my power supply. I even cleaned my computer off and brought it back to factory specs. I finally pulled the card out and put my modest but extremely reliable Radeon HD 4350 back in and everything returned to normal. This card was nothing but a tease. After all the problems I had and spending an entire day troubleshooting I was so worn out and just relieved that I got my computer stable again that I didn't even want a replacement. My 4350 is ridiculously overclocked and is over 5 years old and still going strong. No I don't get to play in high res on high settings with frame rates over 30, but I at least get to play them. This is my second attempt to replace my 4350 with another AMD card. I'll most likely replace my 4350 when it dies, but I will try Nvidia next time and see if they can make a card that lasts more than a day.

Pros: Great budget video card

Cons: ALTHOUGH IT IS A REBRANDED 7750, IT ONLY HAS A SINGLE LINK DVI PORT AND WILL NOT SUPPORT 1440P MONITORS

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

This review is from: MSI R7 250 1GD5 OC Radeon R7 250 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Cheap, and can be overclocked for a small gain. Works great on games(just cause2, gas guzzlers) to name a few. Doesnt require a big power supply they recommend a 400w seems like over kill to me. Does not require a separate power plug.

Cons: Not the beefiest video card around,. May have to set games to run at low or medium depends on the game and screen size.

Other Thoughts: My screen is 1680*1050 and for a video card like this its perfect however a bigger screen would maybe require a better video card. The card is good for mid level system with a low power supply. Most games will however play on the higher res screen with a low to med setting in game. Great for people who want to game on the cheap. As long as your going in with some what realistic expectations you should be happy with this card.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: MSI R7 250 1GD5 OC Radeon R7 250 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Can run Fallout: New Vegas maxed out, most source games maxed out and Skyrim on high settings. Very good for a card that doesn't require additional power.

Cons: Took a bit of work to get it working (I think It's because I have windows 8), but it wasn't anything that searching online couldn't fix.

Other Thoughts: The 7750 is more powerful for the same price. I'd recommend that instead.
