5 out of 5 eggsas expected

Pros: This cards pretty must just sits there and does exactly what is supposed to. It delivers expected performance (more than I need) and stays cool. It hasn't developed any problems, but I've only had it a few months and realistically it should take years to develop problems running at these temperatures.

Cons: Lack of a power connector feels creepy, but that's expected with a 750ti .

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Should be a great video card when I get the replacement. Very highly rated.

Cons: See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: I bought this MSI GTX 750 Ti OC video card along with an MSI Z97S SLI PLUS motherboard three days apart in Dec 2014. The motherboard worked great with the integrated graphics. When I plugged in the 750 Ti, however, I got no video out on the video card or the integrated graphics. Windows 7 booted fine (audio worked) but no video out. Same symptom with a new GeForce 8400 GS. In all slots. RMA'd the motherboard for bad PCIe slots and quickly got a good refurb replacement. Unfortunately, I still get the same symptom with the 750 Ti. However, the GeForce 8400 GS works fine. I am now RMAing the 750 Ti for replacement. I can see possibly one of these two new MSI components arriving defective, but two out of two? It's disappointing to think of the time I've spent troubleshooting, and the expense of return shipping, to exchange TWO brand new MSI products for refurbs.

5 out of 5 eggsGood if you get your rebate

Pros: Been hammering this card for the last six weeks, and it runs just fine. Stays cool, and is not making any annoying sounds like coil whine and loud fan.

Cons: 3 years parts 2 years labor in the specifications. Standard is three years all around. This makes MSI look cheap when deviating from the standard.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card because it was on sale, and it had a $30 rebate at the time. so my total cost in the end was $100 which is a bargain.

Now about that $30 rebate. I registered and sent in everything that was requested on time for the rebate. I was denied because low and behold the packing list was illegible. How could it be illegible when, inf fact, I sent the exact same packing last that NewEgg sent me which was clearly legible.

I viewed the documents online that the rebate processor had scanned. Everything was clear as a bell except for the packing list. For what ever reason, somebody at rebate processing had blacked out the items in the list, and then scanned them. Of course when the item is blacked out it will be illegible!!

Anyway, when I got the message that I was denied, they also said I had 30 days to send in the missing information which was being offered at the request of NewEgg/MSI. I sent in two copies of the invoice, and finally I got approved.

Why would somebody black out the item list, so a rebate gets denied? Are they getting a kick back some how for denied rebates? MSI/NewEgg you guys need to really look into this problem. The scans of all the stuff I sent in is still online right now at the rebate processor. You can see for yourself where somebody blacked out the items in the packing list.

4 out of 5 eggsThe go-to choice when a low power graphics solution is needed

Pros: Runs cool, 38 at idle 45 under load.

Works fine with a 300 watt power supply.

No Pci-e power plug needed, runs off slot power alone.

Good frame rates with reasonable game settings.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy this if you have a 500 watt or higher power supply with a pci-e power plug, this card is for a specific need - low power draw. If you have a higher watt power supply, you can get a better performing card for about the same money. That said, if you've got a computer with a 300 or 400 watt power supply this card is a great choice.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Quality

Pros: This card is very nice, it's very quiet, very smooth, and I haven't had any real issues with this.. a lot of my games I couldn't run were fixed installing their drivers, usually when I buy Radeon cards their drivers don't seem to do much but break everything.. but Nvidia and MSI are doing fantastic. From now on I think I'll buy MSI Nvidia. And if they ever see this review, I'd like to say thank you for fantastic hardware. It's 50x better than any of the Radeon cards I've purchased.

Cons: I haven't really had any issues, the only con I can think of is.. well. The driver takes a long time to install but it's not a big deal.. at least it ACTUALLY works and fixes things unlike the 4 Radeon cards I've had in the past.. but that's off topic. Other than the long install.. this card has worked very well.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: I can run all my steam games (skyrim, insurgency, witcher 2, dead island, Fallout NV) on high to ultra high settings, in 1600x900 or above without the gpu or cpu going above 45 degrees C!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have this card in the iBUYPOWER Source Series NE654X Desktop. Very nice pair with the eight core cpu. Never going back to ATI again.

5 out of 5 eggsCool, Quiet, and fairly powerfull!

Pros: Cool and Quiet since it is based on the newer Maxwell architecture. No additional PCIe Power needed.

Cons: No SLI

Other Thoughts: I purchased this for my HTPC, that doubles as an occasional game machine. Usually Same-Screen Co-op games for having friends over.

29C idle at 34% fan speed (on Auto)
Simple GPU-Z Load test running for 1 minute increased overall load to 99% and temps stabalized to 45C with still just 34% fan speed. TDP only hit 58% of max as this is not the best test to run.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: -Overclocks like a champ
-No auxiliary power needed
-Cooling system is quiet and does a good job
-Fairly Small

Cons: -Not hot enough to heat my house during winter

Other Thoughts: Msi is a trusted brand to me. Its a great quality card, and it runs great. Even with no auxiliary power input, I've been able to overclock to around 1250mhz. Comes with a lot of software included like Afterburner (to overclock) and Kombuster (to test overclock).

I would easily recommend to anyone who wants a cheap gaming experience as this card can run any modern title at 1080p at anywhere from medium-ultra settings, depending on the game (and thats using it with a 6 year old processor and a motherboard that is PCI-E gen 1, so imagine it on a much newer standard).

You will not regret this card.
