5 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU, no complaints, look foward to the longer DirectX support/updates than the competitors.

Pros: I dig the software with AMD's cards, and better historical support of DirectX future updates.
Runs great with Windows 10 Pro 64 and Linux 64 Ubuntu & Mint.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Just take into account the space needed in your PC.

3 out of 5 eggsAlright Product for the Money

Pros: It is a great card for a beginners machine

Cons: Not worth the value

Other Thoughts: I would have at the time if I knew more to purchase another card like a GTX 960 for just 40 more dollars and been satisfied.

1 out of 5 eggsGood card when it worked

Pros: Upgraded from a 6750 to this card and the difference was amazing. Got it at a steal of a price

Cons: Only worked for about 3 months so i had to go back to my 6750. Expected to get much better life out of the card

5 out of 5 eggsMore Juice Less Power

Pros: Are You Kidding Me? ---> $100.99 shipped..WoW !
Extended 30 Newegg Warranty
Trusted Brand
More powerful then a locomotive

Cons: Newegg is OUT.....I may have bought the last one
Ya snooze Ya lose

Other Thoughts: I replaced the 6870 (now in the wife's computer) in my backup Win 8.1 box with this.
It cost less then half what I paid for a 6870
It uses less power (only one six pin power needed) and out performs the 6870
The price was crazy good.
If you want to play Doom 15 with this card you maybe out of luck but for an occasional gamer...it's great
Thanks Newegg

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent low power solution

Pros: Got this to upgrade from a Radeon HD 6870, which was long in the tooth and used way too much power (2x6-pin PCIe) for the mediocre performance with today's games. I appreciated the much shorter length (8 inches vs 11 inches) and use of a single 6-pin PCIe cable. My framerate jumped about 80% in most games and this graphics card is a lot cooler. Idle at 30C, load at 52C.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: 256bit memory bus
Can handle 1080p gaming in most modern titles with Med/High settings at 60fps
Quiet fan under 35%
Very good performance per dollar. 750TI is better for strictly low heat/power scenarios but if you have the power supply , room and average air flow then the 265x at $95 AR is the best deal easy. The next best card was a 270x for $133 AR.

Cons: A bit larger than my MSI TwinFrozr III
Runs about 5c hotter than current 7850
The heatsink is average in effectiveness, higher fan speed doesn't make a massive dent on lower temps compared to the better designed TwinFrozr III from 1.5yrs ago.
Basic cooler design, nothing special. Wouldn't be my first choice for small low air flow cases.

Other Thoughts: I compared my current MSI 7850 to this 265x using only Tomb Raider benchmark tool running to a 1080p LG TV. Room temps were about 72F and it was tested in a Antec 900 case with only 3 case fans on a very low speed setting.

Temps
7850 - 28-30c idle
265x - 33-35c idle

Peak Temps under gaming with a quiet fan speed (30-40%)
7850 65c
265x 72c

Tomb Raider Benchmark - Mostly Ultra settings
7850 51.1fps
265x 53.5fps

Power Draw was nearly identical within 5-10watts from simple monitor on a Kill A Watt meter during benchmark.

I like the 265x design for a possible fan replacement down the road. It appears it would hold a good quiet 120mm fan relatively easy if the factory fan goes bad. Can't say the same for the TwinFrozer 7850.

When the time came to help a friend on a budget buy the best card in the $50-100 range I ended up researching performance per dollar back to the same tech I bought for my media PC over a 1.5 years ago. Just with a new name and higher factory clock speeds. TDP went from 130watt (7850) to 150watt(265x) but my Kill O watt meter really showed less than 10watts during gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, Great price

Pros: The price is great.
It runs all my games perfectly.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This card won't run the newest games at ultra settings and 60 fps. But if you aren't wanting to spend much money, this card is awesome. It maxes out most of my steam games and League of Legends. It's a better price than the 750ti (typically) and I just have thoroughly been pleased with my purchase.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Pretty fast card for the price quiet fan and looks well built big fan of Msi.

Cons: Amd's drivers aren't that much better than Ati's were

Other Thoughts: Bought this card to replace a 5770 that i had which wasn't quite fast enough to play Dying light this one does at medium settings at 1368 by 720. Thats pretty impressive considering thats an Unreal 4 engine game and im only ruining a 3ghz Amd tri core cpu with 4 gigs of ram. Also played Left for dead maxed out looks nice and Bioshock looked good too. The one game that gives it a run for its money is Crysis 3 of course that game does it to any video card. For the budget consumer Amds got the edge at the moment . For someone on a budget this is a pretty sweet card and only requires a 500 watt psu. New egg and Msi you Rock!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card to give life to old PC

Pros: Card runs great. If I wasn't buying for an old Q6600 @ 3 Ghz quad core I would have went with a geforce 970. So far this card runs quiet and doesn't crash or artifact. It has been able to play everything on high I can throw at it with decent FPS (other PC parts are bottlenecking it even!)

Cons: Can't go to ultra or very high or whatever other options other than high people throw into games. Linux drivers are terrible, I can't get high FPS in games like counter-strike and other games crash at random. This doesn't happen on my friends Nvidia card.

Other Thoughts: This card has the best price performance for mid-range. I really only bought it for DX11 Support but i'm surprised at the performance increase on my 7 year old system. Replaced a 4870 1Gb

2 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Quiet card that runs fairly cool. Easy to install drivers and software under Win7. Fairly solid construction. Plays all my games just fine. Nice packaging and overall the solid quality you expect from MSI.

Cons: The card was a little longer than I expected. It fits but is a little awkward in my case. I did have to move my HDD to a different slot to make it fit because they were bumping end to end. Its also a pretty thick card and nearly covers up the next PCI slot down on my MOBO.

Other Thoughts: Despite working fine, I only gave it two stars because of the MFR that I didn't receive. I was denied the twenty buck card that was promised because they said my documentation was postmarked a day late. I really doubt it was but there is no way to verify. They same offer is still ongoing but they make it next to impossible to actually qualify. They MFR deal closes down every month and starts again new so between shipping time and then a day or two to build and function test, you just wont get it. If you need to include the MFR in your build budget then dont buy this if its getting toward the end of the month. Wait until the beginning of the offer and make sure to make copies of all your docs and so you can go through the MFR dispute process.
