4 out of 5 eggsWorks on windows 7

Pros: Was able to upgrade internal video. Works in a PCI-64 (long) slot in an old Dell Poweredge Server.
Works in Window 7 if you know how to manually install drivers.

Cons: Had to manually install drivers from cd in Windows 7 so it would not work well for those that don't know how to do this. The package or cd makes no claim it works on windows 7.

Other Thoughts: None of the windows games would work on windows 7 with the internal video and now I have full 3d graphics. Not bad for a PCI card.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Non

Cons: Had on shelf for 2 months before needing it. Went to install. DOA. 30 day return policy from NewEgg --- Now I have to deal with the manufacturer....

Bad move on my part for buying the cheap brand.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent, but not a fan

Pros: Decent picture from DVI, stable, haven't noticed much on the hot side of temps, dual monitor abilities

Cons: Ok, I've had this card for a pretty long time, and its just obsolete. The hardware is outdated, the software is confusing as hell. To get any vestige of a good picture out of the VGA/D-sub you have to change seemingly useless settings, and even then a good picture is from luck. Colors from VGA tend to be off compared to the DVI. Playing any relatively recent game is agony, and old non-graphics intensive games barely run without a hitch.

Other Thoughts: Decent card if you are not a gamer or videophile with a VGA screen. For the 2 years I've had it I haven't had any serious issues, but to this day my VGA screen looks like crud. If you can at all upgrade to AGP or PCIExpress, avoid this card and all PCI's, but if youre stuck with a cheap dell or other with integrated and only PCI, it's gonna be better.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: This is the first video card I've installed and I did so because I wanted a DVI output to work with a 19" LCD widescreen monitor. I don't game much but mainly use my computer for photoshop and writing and this card has made viewing much easier on my eyes. I installed it (with very limited experience) on my old HP PC with a Celeron processor and it runs just fine 24/7. I'm pleased.

Cons: None. Works well.

Other Thoughts: No other thoughts at this time.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: got it to be a step up from my Integrated video. did increase the fps in 3d rendering.

Cons: Had vary poor 3D rendering, models and meshes are not drawn properly. fails to capsher the screen in Windows XP. Random errors. was mostly a step down from my Integrated video.

Other Thoughts: did not get it from Newegg. Returning it, 3rd Radeon i got and all of them have not worked.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: I have to say i am actually quite impressed with the card. i am running a dell demension 3000 intel celeron D processer 2.4ghz with 256 ram, i got the computer from dell quite cheap, but i fell for the old integrated graphics thing. so i thot hey ill use my old nvidia agp geforce card in here and we will be good. i popped open the computer and bam! all i had was pci. so i found this card and it is literaly night and day for my entire system. If your like me, then your intergrated video eats up 90 mb of ram from ur system, so this nice little upgrade not only gave me good gameplay espierence, but also gave me a nice little ram boost.

Cons: set up was a bit tricky but it was easy after earching the web on how to disable the integrated video, card is a decent size, but there is no fan on it, so im guessing it will get a bit toasty. (i dont measure temps in my comp). I also had to download the catalyst drivers, they wouldn't set up correctly off the cd.

Other Thoughts: For those of you guys syaing pci cards are just rubbish nowadays, all i got to say is hey it runs all my games ie gw and wow at awesome rates. If your like me, you ar'nt that particular about your graphics quality, you just want it to not lag, and thats what this card does for me and more. On GW when running intergrated video on all high still looked worse then this card on low. also intergrated made it to where i couldnt even step around in towns, now its like looking at a whole game, and the only time i get a hint of lag is when im in a very large town and i scroll out all the way to view all the land, and even then it isnt too bad.

4 out of 5 eggsNot the best for gaming

Pros: Does the job for photoshop, and playing back media.

Cons: I mainly bought this card to play half-life 2. The frame rates are acceptable (if you can play with 25-40fps) Other then that It did work great in WoW and GW. Definatly not a gaming type of card.

Other Thoughts: Not the best to overclock..Runs pretty toasty on idle.

4 out of 5 eggsdoes what it says, but not easily

Pros: 2 outputs, works with dvi>vga adapter. tv out works.

Cons: kind of unstable, flickers at times. software is really hard to understand and a pain to make it do what you want. have to work aorund things, change settings in a certain order or it wont work the way you want it to. layout is confusing. i am using all the outs on this thing and its a pain to switch them around, sometimes an output won't work if you change it without shutting the other one off in the options. tv out doesnt work if both the vga and dvi are on (2 displays at the same time only). having weirdhardware conflicts where devices stop working after a certain period of time, but work when you disable/enable them (may be hibernation setting?).

Other Thoughts: using on my girlfriend's computer which is for remote telephone operator software and internet, no gaming...

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: I bought this card to use with my samsung lcd flat panel. I am using the dvi input and everything is crystal clear on it.

Cons: No real cons, the card went into my machine, I had to use both the analog and dvi cable on first boot, I tried using just the dvi cable but the monitor complained, after everything was installed, I removed the analog cable and the picture is sharp and clear.

Other Thoughts: I do business work and video and photo editing, not gaming.
