VisionTek 900275 Radeon HD 4650 1GB 128-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card

Pros: Works as video card. Does help my tired workstation get a little better speed/performance by putting one monitor on the onboard video card also ATI chipset and one on the new card.

Cons: Bought this specifically for the HDTV out. I realize it says it didn't come with it. Searched everwhere for an adapter found one for another card which kind of works in you switch two of the red/blue/green cables. But has no red in the picture. I tried to rewire it but the needed pin is not being fed to the adapter. I don't want to take the card apart. Adapter not available one star. No mention of the adapter on support site one star. Generally frustrated one star.

Other Thoughts: If I could find the adapter somewhere for this card I would say it does the job and would give it 5 stars for what it is. But since I can not use it for the intended purpose well there you go. Otherwise it seems like a solid cheap card good for light use.

Pros: None really

Cons: The first thing I noticed was that the heat sink and fan are not as pictured. The fan is extremely small and a bit on the loud side. I bought 2 of these for 2 Dell Optiplex 380 computers. Nether cards work. After about 10 minutes of up time the screens get distorted with colored lines. I'm guessing the fan is just not efficient enough to keep the card cool. You would think that for the price you pay for these, they would be well tested. I will never buy another VisionTek product again as a result of this.

Pros: One of the few cards I have found that can be used to upgrade a Dell Small Form Factor Optiplex 380. Most other low profile cards have fans/sinks that are too big.
Does not require its own connection to PC power supply.
Comes with a dual monitor cable, and two DVI to VGA adapters.

Cons: None Yet.

Other Thoughts: Also card is less expensive ordered from NewEgg then from Dell directly.

Pros: Price was reasonable compared to competitor's products.

Cons: I purchased two of these. One is still running while the other stopped after about a month.

Other Thoughts: At least 1 of these is still running, but 50% NCM is still too high. Visiontek should be more foreright and just offer recalls. If these were cheaper, I'd just throw them out and never deal with Visiontek again. However, I will have to wait out the RMA process and hope they stand behind their product.

Pros: Like the title says, it was good while it lasted.

Cons: It only lasted 10 months.

Pros: Wasn't a pile of dust when I opened the box...

Cons: Terrible support. Sadly their RMA process is time consuming and leaves you computerless for extended periods of time. So long as your card doesn't break...which this one and other visiontek cards we purchased recently did...you may be in luck. But gambling isn't our game and I would not recommend buying anything manufactured by Visiontek.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is great...just not Visiontek

Pros: perfection fit into a slim dell case
and works amazingly
and no error prompt from Windows 7

Cons: nada

Other Thoughts: wish that it could be a lil shorter
it gets critically close to the ram
but still grate

Pros: Works like a champ!

Cons: Nothing to complain about here!
