5 out of 5 eggsAwesome VisionTek Support!!!

Pros: I would have gone with 4 eggs, however, after almost one year of use, I switched it over to my Optiplex 755 Small Form Factor and realized I never got a low profile bracket. Looked on the VisionTek website and couldn't find one listed. Emailed tech support to see if they had one to sell me. Not only did I get a reply the next day, they sent me two for free!!! That got my attention and means a lot to me. Turned out they were clairvoyant, when later I realized I also needed one for my VisionTek 4650.

Important for older computers: Card is compatible with PCIe 2.0
Many computers built before 2009 or so, won't work with PCIe 2.1
cards, and lots of manufacturers falsely call their cards a 2.0, when they are really 2.1 specs! Found that out the hard way.

Cons: None when price is considered.

Other Thoughts: Aero Graphics @ 3.7, Gaming Graphics @ 5.8 Definitely a step up from onboard graphics on my C2D E6700 @ 2.66 GHz.

Another upgrade from onboard (only VGA on mine) is the option for DVI and HDMI, so, dual monitor capability. For office work I like two 19 inch monitors, better then one 24 inch monitor.

4 out of 5 eggsBought it in 2011 along with some ram to keep an aging computer alive

Pros: Pros:
- It helped keep my aging 2005 computer somewhat modern till the end of the XP age (2013)

-Way better than a 2005 onboard Intel graphics card

-Supported 16:9 monitors which the onboard did not

Cons: Cons:
- Not really sure if it was my new ram or the video card that it didn't like. It would crash unexpectedly sometimes. but the crashing slowed from 2 hours of use to 4 hours to a week then a few weeks and it doesn't crash anymore, don't really understand what changed, but 1 year later Im happy I bought it, although the 4550 HD is a much better card.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks, but not with Dell Optiplex 755

Pros: Works with any other computer out there....

Cons: Doesn't work with Dell Optiplex 755

Other Thoughts: Dell tech support said it would work. They were mistaken. If I want to send back to dell then I would be out another restocking fee. First Video card was DOA and they charged a restocking fee. Second card will not work with system. I do not want to pay another restocking fee.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for now

Pros: Good for cheap box

Cons: The fact I had to buy it for my little brother's garbage box.

Other Thoughts: Surprised it actually worked. Little Brother's are dumb and think you buy one computer and that should be it.

1 out of 5 eggsWouldn't recommend it or take another for free!

Pros: Advertised on NewEgg and VisionTek site as requiring 250watt power supply... when arrived box states minimum of 300watt... however does run on 250watt with no issues (yet).

Cons: It is a Mobility chip... not advertised as such... Windows 7 Experience Index rates the business graphics as 3.3 (the old mobility x300 hit 3.5 and the x600 hits 4.0 in my laptops). Gaming is 5.7. Overpriced for what you're getting. Get the 4550 instead... faster and requires the same power... also not a "watered down" mobility. Claims crossfire ability but no connector or cable.

Other Thoughts: Too bad overall ratings don't include negative eggs... Wouldn't take another one for free. Waste of time and money. Also didn't come with the advertised low profile bracket... Does come with a 14 day free trial of world of Warcraft. Perhaps honesty on the box would be a better addon.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect for my needs!

Pros: - Fits ALL of the performance requirements one might want out of a Home Theater PC (HTPC)
- Windows 7 gaming score is 5.9, which was surprising
- Runs in an old Dell Optiplex GX280 with only a 280 watt power supply
- Says it only needs 250 watts
- HDMI output works great with my Pioneer Elite receiver, which eventually goes to a Samsung 55" LED TV
- 1080p video plays great
- HDMI audio out works like a charm

Cons: - Did not come with a low profile bracket, need to purchase separately from somewhere
- No fan. I know it describes itself as not needing one, but I would "feel" better about having one. Runs cool though, so maybe I should just shut up

Other Thoughts: I can imagine that performance would be greatly increased by ONLY upping the memory to 128-bit.

Otherwise, this was the ONLY option, the BEST option for a HTPC where the power supply is only 280 watts. All other cards require at least 300 but this one by Viontek seems to rule!

5 out of 5 eggsCan still play today's games

Pros: This is a great budget card. I just got done building a new budget PC with this card. With Catalyst Drivers 10.2, this thing scores a 4.2 in Aero performance and a "6.0" in gaming performance with Windows 7! That's very impressive. And this graphics card is overclockable. I got the core clock to 650MHz from 600MHz and the memory clock to 485MHz from 400MHz.

Cons: I did wish this graphics card had GDDR2 instead of DDR2 memory that runs at 500MHz instead of 400MHz. Yes, it matters.

Other Thoughts: My budget build PC:

-HEC 6T Series 6T18BB Mini-tower Case Black
-Windows 7 Ultimate x64
-120GB Seagate SATA HDD 7200 RPM
-Intel Pentium E5200 Dual-Core CPU 2.5GHz @ 3.52GHz
-2GB KVR PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM 667MHz @ 940MHz
-VisionTek RADEON HD 4350 512MB DDR2 650/485
-Realtek ALC883 8 Channel Audio
-CD/DVD PATA Lightscribe Disc Burner
-GIGABYTE GA-G31M-ES2L Intel Motherboard
-350 Watt Raidmax ATX Power Supply Unit

With this setup, I'm still able to run the new games like Left 4 Dead 2, Avatar, and CODMW2 but on medium-high settings with a low resolution.
