1 out of 5 eggs2560 x 1600 = FAIL

Pros: Fits in 1x slot and supports two monitors.

Cons: Was not able to obtain 2560 x 1600 resolution as it is advertised. Contacted VisionTek and received prompt replay (autoresponse?) to call ATI. Spoke with two reps at ATI, who were kind, but unable to help me.

Other Thoughts: Check VisionTek's website, they do not have a maximum resolution listed for this card. Not sure if it's a misprint, inherited from ATI literature on chipset, or what. But 2560 x 1600 = fail.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing...

Pros: I struggle to find one...

Cons: DOA. The only reason that I complain is that I have been having numerous experiences like this from Newegg for the last year or more.

Other Thoughts: The card has a breakout cable interface. It's not a deal-breaker, but it is a bit strange.

3 out of 5 eggsNo video in Win7 Media Center

Pros: Great to add 2 extra monitors to my system. PCI-e x1 perfect,as my system doesn't have 2 PCI-e 16x slots. Have a HD 5770 (running three 24" 1080p monitors) and wanted to use Eye-Finity for games while using this card for 32" Vizio flatscreen for Media Center and vids.

Cons: Videos play a blackscreen with audio in Windows Media Center 7. The menus and controls show just fine but no video. No solution online...haven't heard back from ATI. Using Cat 10.6! Problem is only with WMC. VLC & PowerDVD play videos just fine! WMC works fine on the 5770 monitors!

Other Thoughts: Using a cheap workaround by switching cables for gaming and back when using the Media Center.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed...

Pros: Not DOA. Seemed to be in perfect functioning condition.

Cons: - VERY loud fan for the card that you're getting. I'd liken it to a high rpm 80cm fan with a bit higher pitch.
- Could not display 2560x1600 resolution as advertised. I don't know if it was a linux thing or not, but after a million versions of Xorg config files and 2 different driver versions under 2 clean OS installs with 2 different DMS to DVI cables, it just refused to output that resolution.

Other Thoughts: I'm trying the Powercolor. The DMS 59 to DVI adapter puts a good bit of torque on the card so make sure to screw it down during installation. Let me reiterate that my main reason for returning is the lack of support for the (advertised) max resolution of the card. This is not meant to be a gaming card of any sort.
