It really was 2.0 and worked with my motherboard anyway, I was very pleased. While playing a blu ray movie, I noticed the CPU temp was only about 110DFar instead of the usual 120 plus. Cons: None Other Thoughts: This card needs only the PCI-X slot for power unlike other cards needing the extra power connector. Did you find this review helpful? Plays most of my games at the highest graphic settings and doesn't even get a hiccup. Was able to run it smoothly under Ubuntu and Windows 7. So far it seems a great card for the price.
