3 out of 5 eggsr7950 Core

Pros: Runs. Works Ok.
Used cat13.1 downloaded from amd. They install and work fine on windows. I picked these because they say lifetime warranty.

Cons: These cannot get the same hash rate as other 7950's when mining litecoin or bitcoin. I get 500 khash ea on ltc, but these also get a high reject rate.(even higher if I try to push it any further.) My xfx7950 in the same machine can get 620+ khash 24/7.
AMD's linux drivers leave much to be desired, don't waste your time trying to set it up, unless you are a linux diety. You will save days of headache by just skipping linux and going for windows.

Other Thoughts: Lifetime warranty sounds good but a warranty on a inferior design doesn't really excite me. I can't decide whether to return these or keep them running and get a different brand next time.

5 out of 5 eggsThis card is excellent!

Pros: This card runs like a champ. Every game I own is maxed out at 1600 x 900. It runs cool with average temps of 40C at idle and 67C at load. The fan is also quiet, a welcome change from my last card.

Cons: This is a large card. Make sure you have plenty of room in your case.

Other Thoughts: At $300 this card is a steal. It's perfect for my new PC. I would recommend this card to anyone looking to upgrade.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome Card

Pros: Plays everything I throw at it with highest settings, 2560x1440 with 4xSSAA. Card runs very cool, and while I can hear it, its not loud at all compared to refrence leaf blower coolers. Havent seen it get over 65C.

Cons: Blue PCB with a red and black cooler design is ugly. If its doesnt void the warranty, will likely paint the plastic heatsink cover.

Other Thoughts: To the person below, dont blame the card for not knowing how to do the drivers.
Un-install all Nvidia drivers and software, run driver fusion to clean all traces of Nvidia and AMD drivers, restart, install current AMD driver (as of now, 12.8 plus cap 3 hotfix), restart again, and your done.

Have two in crossfire, when 2D idle, the second card completely shuts off, fan and all for lower power consumption. Starts right back up as soon as 3D app is loaded.

1 out of 5 eggsWaste of money.

Pros: None.

Cons: The drivers and software for AMD are so out of date, it's ridiculous. I couldn't get ANY of the drivers to install or the catalyst center which it kept insisting I need. The CD it came with wouldnt even load because it only supports windows XP and Vista.. SERIOUSLY? I spent hours researching, looking for a solution with no luck. I'm never straying from Nvidia ever again.
